On topic: PLay stealing creation, get a few hammers (5 will do). Buy oak planks for 400 each. You can buy like 1500 then. Make oak larders, or the item with the most planks you can at that moment. Remember to use your hammers, you will get 120xp per plank. So: 600k gp = 120*1500 xp = 180k xp. That's around lvl 57 or so? Id sugges you dont use a butler. Use home teleport and duel ring to bank.

Okay, it's decided, I'm going to make a chinning guide after my exams. I've got the pictures and all from getting 99 ranged myself, so it's just text + calcs (which I've already done too). Anyway: Grey chins: 205 xp each Red chins: 255 xp each That'll get you the cost of chins easily. For the time, I use around 1200 chins an hour. In that hour I also use 14 prayer potions and 3 ranged potions. (4 dosers). Tadaaa, you've got all you need. (note you should use full void, 15% prayer). For magic: If cash isnt an issue, burst or barrage rock lobsters. I feel terribly sorry that I've done other things than that to 99 mage, cause now I feel bad about going bursting for more charms (I want to get 90-96). If you really dont want that, diamond bolt enchanting is over 120k xp an hour (lots of clicking, very intense though), and when I did it I could more than break even. (pices have changed though, and also I bought bolts for under med, and sold for over med).

I'm surprised by how few peolpe get this. Yes, it's easy to get. But at a price of 80 gp each (or whatever), who in their right mind mines and banks it nowadays? Most of the granite today is indeed from when it was 10k per 5kg block. The only counter argument you can throw in, is that with thise 5kg blocks, you can mine them faster than before. But even considering that, I think it's possible to see them going to like 300gp each again. On the other hand, that would mean that each 5kg block you mine, nets you 3k if you would chisel them yourself. Hmm.

When I did it I could profit, but I think that haschanged. It's really intense too if you wanna get decent rates. Upside is you can use it at pc. Also, what is this "alching trick"?

Iron. They are time based so you wanna get as much xp in that time as possible. Drop them ores after mining.

Ydrasil: 70k mage xp/h with bursting is really off. Bursting at 9 lob spot (based on 15k casts): 104k mage xp 145 crimsons 575 casts an hour I might look up the exact details later.

Nice tips, but if I'm not mistaking, it's still better to plant expensive seeds. Yes, it's annoying if they die, but you gotta look at the averages: Say the average is 6: herbs (including deaths). Avantoe seed is like 10k profit then. (rough guess) Snapdragon: 15k profit (not sure though, I havent farmed in a looong time and havent checked prices). I hope you get my point.

Rather my set up then void because im using star boosting prayers 100% of the time. I dont have a torso so imma get my addy chain from the bank :mrgreen: Prayer doesnt drain THAT fast. I can piety a whole game with void.

I may never sell my santa hat, but I haven't lost anything, 'cept maybe the opportunity cost. What is a market? Its where people get together and decide what they're willing to pay for things. What is a stock worth? Well, whatever someone is willing to pay for it, and someone is willing to sell it for. If a company goes bankrupt, it's stock price will plummet to 0. Why? Its because its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, and a bankrupt company has little to no value. It would be really funny to see the former CEO of Enron make a speach to the investors saying don't panic even though no one will buy your stock, they have a sentimental value of 1 mil each and you are all rich! The example of a company going bankrupt is the same to a rare plummeting to low value. If noe one is willing to pay that sentimental value of your santa hat, then you have no hope of getting back the GOLD COINS you paid. If you are willing to pay 21 millions for a santa hat, I'll be glad to sell a ton of those. If you are not willing to buy another santa hat for 21 millions, then Santa hats are not worth 21 mil to you. If you are willing to pay market price for a santa hat then, the value of all santa hats to you is market price. And with the introduction of the G.E., the price your willing to pay is related to the market price and the 5% higher and lower. Nice one, you've got him cornered :-)

Got around to selling most of my stuff in bank and guess what. Didnt know I was that rich :o. I thought I was worth around 350. . (also most cash I ever had) and oh: Add around 10M from MTK too :-) (+ whip, verac, ahrim, karil, ... see full bank pic) And here the full bank picture. (KQ head in house btw :-)). For those who like to search in bank pictures. Guess which skill I'm going to get to 80 and which skill I've just lvled 80-85.

Id say you mine iron for xp. Bank with kyatt if you want to. Then just buy addy bars and make arrowtips. That's how I got 80-85 smithing. Arrowtips do sell, and if you are patient enough you can get over 140 each. Thats 2100 gp you get back per bar. So you make a 200gp loss for 120 xp (assuming you use sc hammers). The smithing itself is also about 1k bars an hour so it's pretty fast.

Better than before it :o I remember I could only mine like 12 coal and 6 iron before I needed to bank and get my fatigue up.
