Huh, isn't the best way to do construction by buying the planks beforehand or am I missing something?

There's a good guide by Losing Games. I think it's in beginning guides or general guides. It's very up to date, but pretty elite.

prossy /firecape is a pretty good setup where you need to pray protection i dont really see a reason to bring bandos on task where u protection pray but the only task i do is............spiritual mages i guess abberant specters too but ima blocking n00b lol...maybe black demons when u have 2 on u... or if u feel like afking a task of dragons but im usually to busy banking bones and killing next. also for max hit i find that i am hitting above my old max in kuradel 650 prossy/sw cape quite often enough that it is worth it to have bandos/firecape max i seen so far is like 686 so im really not a fan of dividing max hit by 2 to get avarage hit maybe i will do 100 hits on dusties and put them in excel to get avarage hit =p but on othe places such as mithril dragons avarage hit is less cuz of more 0s Yeah, I use proselyte and fire cape on protect prayer tasks, too. ;) Prossy + fire cape sucks. Compare it with bandos + SW cape. Same prayer, yet more strength (and defence).

That's a paradox. You are saying you like the skill because you because you can actually do is if you aren't training it: watching youtube, forums, ... Now tell me, what is fun? the clicking make x every 2 minutes, or the talking, youtubing, forum watching?

I like slayer since I lvled up my combat skills while training it, and got access to some cool equipment and places (kuradal's dungeon, black mask, fero ring) which makes my hits more impressive and let me gain more melee xp per hour. I think the most time I've spent on one skill is slayer for sure. However, when you think about it, slayer is actually pretty simple and unoriginal. Slayer doesn't really add anything new to the game either. Sure, some monsters have a slayer requirement, but that's just a number. Take slayer away, nothing changes. Staves of light and whips? Have some monster drop them that don't have any requirement but are hard to kill (mithril dragon-like). In the same light, summoning is actually quite different. It's not some "fletch x crossbows", "fletch y longbows" add-on to fletching. It's a well-intergrated skill that helps you with nearly all other skills.

So much discussion over this... Of course fury is worth buying if doesn't break your bank. You can always resell y'know. People who say to get bandos first are idiots though. If you want to get elite gear, I'd personally get it in this order: Fury > zerker > claws > bandos > dfs (lol at this last one, I never use it, but okay).

Cool, I'm about to get 95 fletching too through broad arrows. Crazy fast huh. (and coincidently, I'm also training some other effigy skills). Good thing you werent farming torstols :-) -
Pointless risks are stupid IMO, but okay...

Mage: Arcane stream necklace, staff of light and ahrims + FSH are a must. Use the highest spell you can, I think that's fire wave for you. You could mage: Iron and steel drags, abbysal demons, ice strykewyrms, and I guess basically anything else, but those are mostly maged because they have high melee/ranged defence, and allow youto break even or profit while maging, allthough that last point is a rubbish argument. Range: Not much here, black dragonhide is good enough. Don't be noob and range in dragon boots. Use at least broad bolts, rune darts in kuradal's dungeon if you can (and if they're not too expensive). Range low def monsters with darts (greaters, dusties, ...), high def monsters with broads (dark beasts, ...)

Dragonstone (i) is more reasonable.

You are praying so protection doesn't matter. Woox still goes in d'hide because it's good enough.

Actually, of weapons in the same tier, the faster weapon is always better. Rune dagger > R2h/ rune long/ rune baxe? I highly doubt it. Scimitar > R2h/rune long/rune baxe True, but he said the faster weapon is always better. The dagger is faster than the 3 I mentioned and not better than any of them, which means the faster weapon isn't ALWAYS better. However, I still agree that the rapier is better than the CLS in many situations. Dagger is just bad design, since scimitar has same speed but more strength and accuracy. Makes no sense to include dagger anywhere.

Actually, of weapons in the same tier, the faster weapon is always better. Weapons in the same tier? You mean like rune tier, or what? Since dagger is fast, but its not better. Dagger isn't faster than scimmy.

I think that's fixed now, it says 'you can't log out while in combat"

Ppots cost 8k each. Claws are 33m (?). Don't be silly, even if whip gives you 1 more kill an hour, it's worth it.
-
So Td's really drop them?
-
Funny thing is it would have been better to sell those MTK, farm and chaos druid herbs, and buy the herb that's the best gp/xp (with still a decent rate).
-
I'm lazy too, so I just stick to broad bolts (unf) and battlestaves + MTK weekly.
-
That's why I'm leaning towards dks now. Bronze dragons were very good for lvl 3's (had 5 of them in just over an hour), but elites seem rare. Mith drags are a lot slower kills/h (around 60 at max I'd say) so I'm not sure whether that's worth it. Perhaps cannoning steels in the new dungeon?
-
Not possible with arrows, they are "make 10".

I just changed my spirit tree to Miscellania. Why? Because I started to oncorporate bush trips in my herb runs (well, every few of them since bush grows slower) and both the fairy tele and new miscellania scroll are slow ways to reach the patch. For the Brimhaven tree however, there's the new chipped house tablet which is an excellent replacement! I'm not sure if it's the BEST set up, but it's a very viable alternative.

Did 3h of KBD and ended up with one lvl 3 clue. Lvl 3 yes... Tip it's bestiary is wrong, kbd also drops lvl 3 clues.
-
I'd get a rapier. You forgot to add in the weakness of dragons to stab. Somehow, Jagex likes dragons (new clues mainly dropped by dragons), and it's always nice to have the best weapon to kill those. (+ all the other plus sides of rapier). I for one am killing some dragons right now in search of an elite clue, while I'm not training slayer, don't need the money of bones, and I'm already maxed melees.

It's funny how a skill's fun factor seems to be increasing with it's afk factor for most people. That doesn't mean the skill is fun, it means the thing you can do while lvl'ing the skill is fun...

Would be cool to be able to get a certain amount of uber-compost a day through some D&D, where the amount depends on your farming lvl. Uber-compost would mean no death and extra big yield.
