  1. Plank make is not a terrible option, if you can stand it. I think mahogany planks are no more than 3gp/xp. It's quite fast, average rates are anywhere from 120k-160k/hour (last time I did it I got around 137k at a slowish pace, kills my wrists).
  2. Something that offers no additional functionality over the many browser based GE searches, but requires you to install an actual client? Sounds great, sign me up!
  3. Have you considered how long that would take? It's a depressing amount of time, and not worth it in the least. Superheating can turn a profit, or at the very least cost a minimal amount, and it's very fast.
  4. if he doesnt quit. everyone thought so highly of Zezima and then he quit Zezima is playing again. I'm also curious as to how S U O M I trains his Mining, if anybody knows. Suomi is superheating gold in the living rock caverns.
  5. Are you also praying piety/leech defence? Nomad does indeed hit extremely hard, but there should be a grace perioud of 0's every now and then for you to get some good damage in.
  6. At 99 def, you shouldn't need 30 brews. Are you avoiding mines? Are you running behind a pillar to avoid the 750 damage attack sometime after mines? It also sounds like you're never recovering your ranged level from the reduced effect of brews, rocktail help with this. But if you don't want to use them, just chug restores like crazy.
  7. Do not exclusively bring brews/restores, at your levels you shouldn't need that many. Bring 9 or 10 rocktail, 6 in your inv, 4 more as the first thing in your tort. Only brew when you're in absolute danger, otherwise use rocktails, maybe save 2 or 3 though. Edit: if you are absolutely worried about health, switch out 4 rocktails for another set of brews/restores.
  8. Back before double exp weekend I was getting around 200~ crims/hour bursting at 90 magic with a water staff.
  9. He's been training defence/ranged/herblore casually for a few months now, and been working heavily on con (soon to hit 200m). See here.
  10. I'm mainly looking for defense experience, and Slayer isn't that fun to me. Right now I'm doing AZ's with proselyte gear, neitiznot, rune defender, d boots, barrows gloves, cook cape, and glory. Are monkey's faster (and are they crowded?) I would strongly suggest getting an enchanted salve amulet for AZ's, as it will boost your attack and strength by 20%. Much better than a glory.
  11. Gertjaars hasn't played in almost a month, and aasiwat has far more exp than him, around 2.075b. Nothing will happen, probably. It's reasonable to assume that total exp is just summed up in the highscores from the other 25 stats.
  12. I'll always pick up charms with two exceptions: 1 - the charm is so far it'd waste a lot of time to pick it up 2 - I'm on a task that requires an annoying amount of attention or input; eg. cannoning mutated bloodveld with a titan If either of those is the case I avoid golds/greens.
  13. If you're actually attempting to rake highscores, runetracker has a nice parser.
  14. I wouldn't expect them to stage these too often seeing how overpowered they were for some skills. Maybe have one before the end of the year, maybe one next year same time. I could honestly see them doing it much more often if they took out buyable skills. If they changed it to a flat modifier, and say 1.2x for the entire weekend (or possibly 20~ cumulative hours) they could do it once a month. Of course that won't happen, but taking all buyable skills out would be a pretty good idea. I honestly didn't much care that so many people trained those skills, but the mess it left the GE in was annoying (this is from someone who managed to get thousands of clean/grimy irits and water tallys the first day of the news). The non-linear modifier they used last time was stupid, as it favored skills that gained exp extremely quickly. I guarantee you wouldn't have seen half as many summoners that weekend if the modifier over 10 hours ('jk 7 hours lol') was a flat average.
  15. Since you don't have a gilded altar you'd be using the ectofuntus, you'd need about 460k prayer exp. Even there, it'd cost you about 9m if using dbones, and somewhere around 5m using big bones (and that's way too many big bones to grind up/gather slime for). All I can suggest is pest control/soul wars.
  16. SC hammers give about 50k con experience, for that many larders you will need 5.
  17. Staying with summona at your level will give you a worse rate. If you want to take the exp hit, *shrug*. Using a cannon you will almost certainly not break even, potting is a different story though. It's absurd not to use super sets, they're extremely cheap and the boost they give you compared to the price is incredible. You will break even if you use super sets. Also, abbys are pretty terrible money. Edit: What gear are you wearing?
  18. For agility, use an agi pot and enter the wilderness course. For smithing, smelting/superheating gold with goldsmithing gaunts is fairly cheap. If you have 80 mining the concentrated gold ores in the living rock caverns are an extremely fast source of gold. I believe you don't have enough cash to get the herb levels you want making potions (serum 207's are the cheapest method that still has a shred of efficiency). Cleaning herbs would seem to be your only option, check GE prices (preferably right after an update) and buy grimy herbs, clean and resell. Be careful, as prices can be deceptive, make sure you can sell the clean herbs before you buy the equivalent grimy ones in bulk. Cleaning herbs is actually faster than most people would think, if you can manage to do it reasonably fast. It can also be very profitable.
  19. Rocktail at 95, no idea about cavefish.
  20. Piety is +20% attack and has a bigger drain rate than turmoil.
  21. Sharks with gaunts at 92-94, rocktails at 95. The big 4 for easy 99's are cooking, fletching, firemaking and thieving. Hunter deserves an honorable mention, as you can get rates of above 100k/hour at around 80.
  22. The dorgesh kan course is around the same exp/hour as ape atoll, a lot of people do it from 80-85. The failure rate seemed pretty low when I tried it out, though I only did slightly over an hour there. I've heard it's a little bit faster than ape atoll, maybe by 3000~ exp/hour or so. I'd just stick with ape atoll to be honest, it's brutally simple, and you can agi pot advanced gnome at 82 or 83 (forgot how much an agi pot boosts you).
  23. Yeah, my exp/hour numbers for rocktail were way too low, I've never bothered with them before. Ignore my average.
  24. Edit: my numbers are apparently really off. Starting sharks at 92 is not a bad idea, you'll probably burn under 100.
  25. Only once, right after RFD was released.
