They do get randoms, but just like they can automate skills they can automate a response to randoms.

I see a mass ban in the future for sure. As of this week's update Jagex has turned on one of their strongest Anti-Macro devices which monitors your mouse movement. Normally they only target players they suspect of autoing with this, but it's active for everyone now. The recent surge of autoers using the Aryan client will stick out like a sore thumb now. It's a shame that Jagex refuses to IP ban, it would clean up the community alot.

No, it's not just you. Political correctness is getting way out of hands. Take the TV station "BET" (Black Entertainment Television I believe it's called) for exmaple. Now if I were to start a TV station called WET for White Entertainment Television they close it down, throw me in jail, and paint the words RACIST across my forehead in big black letters. Yet nobody seems to have a problem with BET...

How would the laws they are making cause inflation? They are not creating new gp like when you cast high alchemy.

Then why bother making that post? The inflation is still going on, and is very rampant. There is too much money on the game, and not enough to spend it on while removing it from the game (money sinks). it has already stopped increasing, just wait for it to settle. No it has not stopped increasing. Barrows repair fees were a step in the right direction, but they aren't nearly enough to balance out the hundreds of millions of gp brought into the day each day by high alchemy.

They may drop death talismans, but that shouldn't be their slayer drop. Think for a second, what takes longer to get, 90 slayer or the items on the dwarf's list in ME2? I hope Jagex does have something planned for them, because right now they are just a waste.

I've had this idea in my head for quite a while, so obviously I like it. Perhaps, instead of the bonus depending on the slayer master you use, it would depend on which monster you get and how many of them? Since your way would get me the same amount of bonus exp for doing a task of 176 iron dragons and 132 fire giants. How about the bonus being about 1/5 of the total slayer exp you get from that whole task. That way the larger bonus from irons would motivate to actually do the task.

If it is a money sink that you're looking for then how is this for one? Jagex creates a type of armor and weapons for each class that is better then dragon, barrows, and every other one before. It would not have to be repaired like barrows too. The part that makes it a large money is that it is untradable and can only be bought from a NPC for alot of money. It would cost 5m per bar that you usually use when smithing an item. So a plate body would cost 25m as it normally takes 5 bars to make it. Yea, I know that it's a horrible idea. But at least it's a step in the right direction.

This is a very nice idea. And the one about adding a wallet area on your equipment screen is great too.

There are ranger pures who've done monkey madness. There will be noobies everywhere in the game...it is inevitable...noobies will take over the world :cry: The noobs that I'm talking about are those arrogant lvl 50's in their mith armor and ham robes that think they're the leetest. They don't stand a chance on Monkey Madness, so they won't be able to get there. Cw is usually full of them, so this would be a good alternative to Cw.

True, but you can't be a monkey at the fight pits or castle wars. :wink: And since you will have needed to have done Monkey Madness to get there, there would be no noobs.

While it may work, I don't like it because it would tick alot of people off. I just don't like ideas that mess with rares. The source of the inflation is High Alchemy, I say that they take it out. It would tick even more people off but at least it would prevent all the gp rushing into the economy.

I agree. We pay $5 a month and all we get is junky quests and even worse weapons. Remember the update for "midlevel players" this month? The qeapons were the equivalent of an iron spear, hardly midlevel.

Yes, we would be the ones fighting. It would be multicombat and last man standing like the Fight Pits.
