  1. Move it to Saturday. That way I can actually come.:) Just some things I was thinking of.. I was thinking it would be really cool if every member tried to get their hands on some brown villager sandles. They cost about 100 trading sticks. They're not very hard to get, and they would add to the look alot. Also, instead of having halberds, I think the way to go is to get people to get saradomin mjolnirs, guthan warspears, leaf-bladed spears, or steel spears. Just my opinion.
  2. If I do end up coming [not sure about the time..] is this setup ok? Tyras helm Steel plate Steel plateskirt Leaf-blade spear Legend's cape Snakeskin vambraces Villages sandles ?
  3. You could've just gone to this guide, but anyway, I assume you mean melee weapon, but it depends completely on what you want from it. If you don't care about speed, but want high hits, dharock's greataxe. Or if you want it for it's effect with the combined set, guthan's warspear or verac's flail..
  4. Thank you for the suggestions! I think I'll probably go with pest control or cursing.
  5. I'm pretty sure the rares go pumpkin, crackers+party hats, egg, masks, santas, ears, scythes, etc..
  6. Ok, so I'm currently 77 magic. For a long time I've wanted to have level 85 magic, as I think it would be awesome. However, I'm kind of stuck on how to get there. I've thought about alching, but I'd need about 26k alchs, and seeing I despise fletching, I'm not really intent on going that way. [i'd be stringing mage longs, so as to get me level 90 fletching.] Anyway, if alching really is the best way, then I'm sure I'll survive, but if anyone can suggest some other method that won't leave my bank empty, that would be great! [i've heard cursing is a pretty cheap way to get there, but can't you only curse each monster once? Anyway, if someone could explain to me how cursing works, that would be great, too.]
  7. Great idea! I personally think short swords would be better than scimitars though. [i may be mistaken, but aren't scimitars Arabic/Oriental? Whereas short swords were more often used by the Greeks. As I said, correct me if I'm wrong.]
  8. I had 3 close friends on RuneScape, now my best friend on it has left and decided to sell all her stuff for Habbo [lol?]. The other two.. I just don't talk to too much anymore. My list is pretty tiny in comparison to most people's. I tend to clean it out quite often.
  9. Ooh, nice observations! I'm not sure if Jagex would go to all that trouble for it, but I think you're probably right.
  10. You can be lower than 20 if you get attack levels from quest probably.
  11. Whip. I only every train melee together, or just defense. [When I go for 75 slayer, gonan get 80 range and 85 def.:D]
  12. The clothes of a true RuneScape fashionista. [in my sig..note how brill I am at Paint. ]
  13. well actually the ring wont add any weight because they dont weight 1kg Perhaps rings weigh .5kg? I don't know. Anyway, if you're f2p, bringing a ring is absolutely pointless.
  14. I thought you stopped burning at twice the level required to cook them in the first place + 1.
  15. The demon is in level 2 or 3 wild. Run through the gate [entrance to wild], go north, then go west past red spiders, when you see black demons, go into their lair, and run south. Poison spiders probably won't attack you. Just run behind the earth obelisk, then attack the demon. People will be able to attack you this way [since he won't actually be hitting you], but I made a reasonable amount of earth orbs there [before I could make air], and never got attacked, so I doubt anyone will. And you may as well just bring 5 air, water, and earth blasts, and as many fire blasts as you need to kill him. Also, you could bring an anti-pot just to be safe [spiders hit 6]. P.s. I am RELATIVELY sure that besides the beasts on Ape Atoll, monsters only poison you if they hit you in the first place [above 0, of course], so protect from melee, and you'll be fine.
  16. Why don't I just say which skills I DO like. :) 1. Farming : I'm not very good at it, but it's obviously the best skill ever made. 2. No wait, that's it.. I actually hate all other skills, the only instance in which I like combat is fight pits or castle wars, but I don't like the entire skills.
  17. I think it would be great! [as long as you had an option to turn it off.]
  18. AHAHA! That was hilarious. He reminds me of Kip from Napolean Dynamite. I honestly don't know how some people actually thought he was being serious. -.-
  19. Out of interest, what does having 90 prayer, as opposed to having 52 prayer, do in a fight besides last longer? I'm not flaming you or anything, I just don't know.
  20. Nice article. I can't say the whole thing of Jagex neglecting high-levels really effects me, as my skills aren't all that high, but I still think that would be nice. Except for the thousands of people complaining about how they can't get it. -.- [People complain enough about restrictions like 'h0mgz! 50 herblore!?!?!?!/!!/!111', I shudder to think how much whinging there would be if armour came out for level 90 att/str/def.]
  21. Well, it is a tad sluggish, but it's probably still the best place to collect seaweed in the game. I think we can safely say that Jagex doesn't like sushi.. :notalk:
  22. Lol, k, I'll stop posting. But actually, on the wonderful world of RuneScape, there's these magical beasts called 'metal dragons'. Maybe you should see them some time.
