  1. Jagex has already proven that dragons can be made of metal. >.>
  2. Wherever my slayer master takes me. Probably dagganoths and hellhounds are the best.
  3. As Matt said, the Swan Song place is pretty good. Close to bank, but there's only 2 respawn points, and it takes 20 seconds for them to respawn, so 10 seconds for each piece of seaweed. [On a full world] I decided buying seaweed was much easier.
  4. Either use those combat runes while training up slayer until level 55 magic, then do high-alching in Magic Training Arena [Much faster xp than just normal alching, but you will lose money.], or just start low-alching at MTA untill 55, then switch to High-Alching. Or of course you could enchant things there.. It's your choice. Basically, if you want fast xp, go there, if you want cheap xp, get to 55, then high-alch yew longs.
  5. I fell for the leaf-blade trick yesterday, [The person sells Guthans and leaf blade spear instead of warspear] so at least you're not as stupid as me.
  6. The knife is one-bladed, plus looks completely different to the sword. Both are terrible.
  7. It looks pretty much exactly the same as you see it in the shop. very short, two-bladed, and terrible stats. =D [if you were thinking of getting one, don't..]
  8. If you're rich, yes. Otherwise, just do it the way us poor people do it. =D
  9. Yes, they're f2p [i think]. If they are, then they're in far north-western wilderness [both north and south of the wall]. They're level 53. Just 4-item with item-protect.
  10. At the moment I'm working on getting 70 crafting. I plan to do this by making around 5k-6k vials. Now, as I just got scammed over 5m [ :wall: ] I'm a bit short on cash, so I've decided to collect my own seaweed and sand. Last night, I completed Swan Song as some people said the fishing colony is a good place to collect seaweed. Anyway, even on a busy world, it does take a little while for the seaweed to respawn, and there's only two spots. Could anyone suggest a better place for me to collect seaweed, or should I learn some patience?
  11. Very nice idea. As I'm never going to fletch again, I can't use it, but I hope it goes well.
  12. After 30-35 rounds, getting 7 loops, 3-30 of each gem, a few snaps and toadflax, pods, etc., I gave up. I'll probably buy the scarf and goggles when they're a bit cheaper.
  13. After around about 25 successful hard deliveries, I got the grand tree pod things. Just wanting to know, has anyone else gotten the other items, and around about how many times did you have to do it before you got it?
  14. I only know three people in real life that play. Two are brothers, neither of them are very good. There's one that talks to me about rs whenever he sees me, so I eventually forbade him from mentioning rs in real life. [i despise talking about rs in real life. It irritates me..] working so far. =D The other one I hardly ever see, he's on quite alot, about the same combat as me, but has like 1k total [members].. He got really excited when I told him I'd give him 1m for his birthday, won't shutup about it, and keeps trying to turn that 1m into a whip. Most people know I play, because they've come over and seen me 'nerding it up', but ya..
  15. I personally think you should train combat when you get onto members, so you can get slayer up at the same time, as well as having better training spots. Everything is obviously easier to train in members, so just train your non-combat skills once you become a member as well. Of course, this is coming from someone who became a member at level 36 combat, so I don't know which skills are 'just as easy' in f2p..
  16. hm, thank you. On that, blues may be the way to go.
  17. Earlier I had decided to train my range to 70, as I am ashamed of it[along with most of my other skills]. I thought I would train on blue dragons, so I would only have to pay around 1m for 70 prayer. Then, later on, I'd get 75 range on dusties hoping for a chain. Anyway, to the predicament, should I train on dusties before or after I get 70 range? I don't care about how long it takes, I'm completely interested in the money, so I'd just like to know the ratio of chain drops on dusties with wealth if possible. [i'm asking for every 1k, 2k, etc. as opposed to incredibly accurate ratio things, which I'm pretty sure no one can give me.]
  18. It's funny, 'cause at the beginning I thought you were being serious. [shame] Anywayy, be-eautiful guide! I'm very impressed. =)
  19. Well, already done Ghost's Ahoy and Hand in the Sand [hence me mentioning getting sand in Yanille], but is the Fishing colony the monkfish place?
  20. Although I'm the last person that should be giving advice about this quest, as I died three times in it.. Smoke - Easy, easy, easy. Just bring one prayer pot and melee pray. Blood - Trap the guy on the other side of the fence to you. You can attack him the first time [with range, magic, or halberd] and he won't retaliate, but the second time he will teleport next to you, so just keep swapping fence sides. Shadow - trap him, and the other monsters behind the lantern, attack him whenever you're ready, then return behind the lamp when you need to eat, pot up, etc. Ice - I never figured out how to kill this guy. I got him by luck. Also, I'd recommend using fire bolt with chaos gauntlets.
  21. Again, thank you very much, especially for mentioning Shilo Village.
  22. Firstly, thank you for the advice. Now, to do with crafting, I was under the impression that fishbowls gave 65exp. or 75exp. per each one made. This was due to either me misreading the crafitng guide, or an error in the guide which has now been corrected [most likely the prior]. The next biggest exp. giver is obviously lantern lenses [55exp. per each made, as opposed to 35exp. per vial]. Seeing as the difference in number that I would have to make is minimal [6.1k lenses as opposed to around 6.5k vials], that's now not a worry. So it's just to do with, is the time saved worth the money I'll lose buying vials?
  23. First my Crafting question. I'm planning on, in the near future, getting my crafting level to 70 [currently 60]. I will be doing it with molten glass. Collecting all the ingrediants myself. However, I'm not sure whether to make lantern lenses or vials. [i gather lenses give the most amount of exp. per molten glass, however I will gain nothing from them besides exp.] Vials. Pros : I gain vials, obviously. These will be incredibly useful for my upcoming goal of 70 herblore, which requires me to make at least 4k potions. Cons : Tedious walking between Draynor and Entrana, collecting of buckets, and filling them with sand at Yanille. Also, I have to make more of them as opposed to lenses. Lenses. Pros : I can stay on Entrana the entire time, not have to wait for seaweed to respawn nearly as much. I don't have to make as many. Cons : Nothing gained from it aside from exp. Now to Herblore. I would like to know the best way for me to get to level 70 herblore [currently level 58]. I'm not looking for the fastest way to get to it, I'm looking for the cheapest. I doubt I will be able to make money from it, I just don't want to lose too much. Also, should I buy the herbs or grow them? My current farming level is 60, I am wanting to get it to 70 at some point. I have around 500 watermelons [supercompost] in my bank, and the maximum amount of supercompost the leprechaun will take, so that's not a problem. The minimum amount of herbs I can get per seed is 5 [with supercompost and Magic Secateurs], so would it be more efficient to do it that way? Anyway, if you could give me your opinion of those issues it would be great. For the record, I'm not too well off in RuneScape at the moment, with my bank being worth approximately 16-17mill, so keep that in consideration.
  24. No, Dharocks is based on luck. People who die before the game is over don't die because they're in veracs. They die because their combat is too high, low, or they were piled. If he teams up with another 2 or 3 people, he'll be right.
