  1. I think there's more to it than that. Oh and you're a really pathetic friend.
  2. Lucky you, my nick name is lank  That would be an interesting nickname if I knew you in real life. (I have trouble saying "L" and sometimes it sounds like "W".)
  3. 5'10.5" and somewhere around 130lb, probably a bit less. I don't exactly have much muscle.
  4. After my last relationship, I feel I have the right to be picky. - Large, interested eyes. - Not picky on hair colour, length, or style, just as long as it's well-maintained. - I tend to prefer pale girls. - Moderately sized breasts and buttocks. Hourglass figure is the way to go, of course. - Skinny, or moderate. A large woman would just look ridiculous next to me (I'm very skinny). - Short. - Small feet/hands. - Reasonable sense in fashion, but not designer taste. As long as they know how to match colours. - Pretty face, of course. - Good posture. A girl could have all of the above features, but have bad posture, and I probably would not find them attractive. As for personality: - Not controlling or needy. - Well-spoken and polite. - Not necessarily intellectual, but someone with a good sense of reason. - Big plus if they have no interest in music whatsoever. I don't know why, I just find fellow musicians to be irritating. Of course I'm never going to get a girl like that, but I can dream.
  5. Their pre-Satanica albums are Black Metal.
  6. I love you man. Blut aus Nord (The Work Which Transforms God), Shining (V: Halmstad), Elffor (Into the Dark Forest...), Aäkon Këëtrëh (Dans La Forêt), Amesoeurs (Ruines Humaines), Anaal Nathrakh (Hell is Empty and All the Devils Are Here), Burzum(Det Som Engang Var), and Gorgoroth (Antichrist) are all pretty good.
  7. Death Cab for Cutie never made sense to me..
  8. Don't children always hate the music their parents like? Just pretend to like really bad music for the first 13 years of their life, then bring out the good stuff.
  9. And what you posted in itself was just a shameless bump to stop your thread from dying.
  10. I generally like high school girls stuff so the genre had already won me over though in Hyakko it was the characters. At first I thought meh, it's going to be about some wishy-washy girl in high school but when the focus transferred over to Torako, I started loving it. Also the character dynamics were done well like Torako's and Tatsuki's love/hate relationship (okay, hate on Tatsuki's part whilst Torako was all for the love) and the other minor characters which left me wanting to see more of them. I don't really like characters like Minato and Ayumi but this anime made them bearable in the form of the awesomeness that is Torako. I can definitely agree that the characters were well done. It just seemed to me that every episode had a plot-line that should have only taken 5 minutes, but instead was drawn out for 20. That said, I love Suzume.
  11. Yesterday I came across a piece of music that I've had on my computer for a while but never really paid any attention to. This piece is the perfect example of the awesomeness that Minimalism is capable of. I'd really recommend listening to all the videos of you have a chance. (The piece goes for just under 30 minutes.) 12. Just finished watching Shuffle!. I really enjoyed it, and it was quite well done considering it was based off a hentai game. It was pretty ridiculous, though enjoyable, for the first ten or so episodes. Then it got really good when they started exploring the girls' pasts. [hide=]And I'm very happy about who he ended up with.[/hide]
  13. Not bad. Nice to see Madvillian getting a mention. :)
  14. Hyakko is awesome! I'm going to watch more fighting based animes rather than high school slice-of-life ones. Kinda' getting tired of them. There were some good bits, e.g. the entirety of episode seven, but for the most part it was just monotonous and bordering on annoying. I didn't mind it, but I wouldn't watch it again. May I just ask, what do you like about it? I'm not trying to be a jerk if it came across like that; I'm genuinely interested. I might watch Elfen Lied at some point, but there are about 10 other animes I want to watch before that. At the moment I'm downloading Amaenaideyo!! and Aria, and I'll be getting Nodame Cantabile and Baccano! (so many exclamation marks) after that.
  15. Just watched Hyakko. Bad move. Also just started Shuffle! which seems like it'll be a bit of fun. Based on SilverSword's recommendation I'm gonna watch Nodame Cantabile soon.
  16. I used to be absolutely obsessed with them, but I'm kind of over them now.. And I really don't see many similarites between SikTh and BtBaM, but maybe that's just me.
  17. You seem to be a bit stupid yourself. Do you get your morals from the music you listen to?
  18. Never been in a real fight and I don't plan on getting into one. A fight I had with one of my friends when we were drunk was enough to show me I wouldn't last very long in a real fight.
  19. 91MB for the seven songs. 160kbps.
  20. Republic of Heaven goes for 14:30. And I've almost finished listening to the album now. I have to be honest, it's not as good as I thought it was going to be. There are some great moments, but on the whole it's not fantastic. That said, I haven't taken any note of the lyrics/concept album thing going on. I'd recommend it to any fan of Isis though.
  21. After one minute of listening to Republic of Heaven, I can tell it's my kind of music. Downloading from the site now.
  22. [yt]Ift85e38H3M[/yt] I mean, they kind of made the song for that exact purpose.
