IMO, html is still better for world-switching... You only have to upgrade the URLs about once an year, you can get into full worlds, and you can make keyboard shortcuts to open a certain world... (ctrl-alt-s used to open world 1 on my computer, but I haven't played RS for a long time and the URL changed...)
