That is such bs. Ask them what sanctions are in place against Serbia? And you might want to take a look at the UN website to see if you can find something.. that's so ridiculous. I doubt that mod even understands what he's talking about... That's why he didn't answer "why".. Write another query to them again, and this time emphasize the WHY part. But I think there is a way to mask your IP using mirrors or something, so they don't see your IP is from Serbia.. but I have no idea how to do it. Edit: Okay I've done some research and there are NO sanctions in place against Serbia.. the closest I could find was back in 2000. Trust me people; sanctions are not something taken lightly. It's a pretty serious thing for relations to sanction another country.. they are pretty much a last resort when it comes to diplomacy.. if Serbia was sanctioned again, we would know about it. Send them another query and tell them that they've made a mistake, and that there are no sanctions against Serbia.

He should. Taking responsibility shows maturity and he was clearly at fault for losing the account. kk here is the thing when i go for appeal it gives me 2 options: 1. Someone else had access to my account 2. I think Customer Support have made a mistake there is no option which i can use to take responsibility :wall: Were you hacked or not...? Or is that a story?

It is possible that you might drop an item or two you were carrying, but unlikely. The drops are completely random... it's to combat real world trading.

Yeah.. the address it'll show you is of your internet provider. I doubt it'll take you straight to a house unless you're your own internet provider (which no one really does these days). You can't get banned or have your account for making an appeal. You have nothing to lose.

Why would it be bad to bump a topic that has fallen to page 2? Give me a break.. no one's going to slap your wrist over it anyways.. unless the mods here are really anal and power tripping, which I haven't really seen. Sometimes common sense should prevail over silly little rules.. besides I would think that threads in Help & Advice are important, and you should be able to bump a topic once it hits page 2, as per the rules (to get someone else's attention who may be able to answer your question). Go for it.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong.. But range strength of a weapon is not affected by the Strength skill (which as you said is melee only). Range strength of a weapon is affected by your range armor and weapons (better arrows, range armor, amulets, and [cross]bows all increase range strength). Range Strength is only affected by the ammo that is being used. (bolts, arrows, knives, darts etc.) Range attack is affect by the armor, weapon and the part of the ammo that is range attack. You max range is a mix of your range level and range str i believe. Yeah, you guys are right.. I was wrong about range strength (it's new to me.. wasn't around years ago when I played).

yea there is going to be a problem with that as i change my ip from time to time Best not tell them your IPs then. Since you change your IPs, telling them a whole bunch proves nothing, since the hacker's IP could just be one of yours, except changed. Unless you can give the same IP before and after the hack. Even then though... yea and im 100% sure the hacker is changing is ip as well because when i tracked it down it came out to be from my neighours house and im sure he changed it because my neighbours r old folks they have no kids living there so i doubt they play rs That's silly.. You can't exactly track an IP to an address. If you 'tracked' it somehow, and it turned out to be from your neighbors house - either a) it's someone from your household, or B) you're tracking the wrong IP... as it's most likely yours. And if it's a dynamic IP, you will never be able to track it. It was probably yours as you are on a dynamic IP too..

First of all, were you actually hacked or are you just using it as an excuse? They WILL know if you were, as they can access the IP logs.. and they will know how often you change your passwords, and recovery questions, and if you did so on the date. It would be a very good idea to provide the exact date you were hacked so they can look at all the logs of your account at that time. Again, add in some evidence to SHOW that you were actually hacked. If I were reading that as a Jmod, there's no way I'd side with you and that perm mute would stay.

Um no. The reasoning clearly says that due to financial sanctions on the current regime, Jagex cannot offer member services to him anymore. Serbia was sanctioned before, but definitely not right now. Legally, Jagex CAN provide this user members. It's a MISTAKE for sure. Well seeing as the last time I can find that Serbia was sanctioned was 1992, and dracula has been a member for 7 years and has not received this message before, there must be some reasoning for the messages recent creation in the first place, right? It's not like these things just appear out of thin air. The financial sanctions they speak of likely have to do either with their national currency, trade deficit, or outstanding debt. Also it could be some trade embargo that the UK put into place with Serbia.. I'd like to think that this is a mistake, but it seems to be an odd case and i would assume all Serbs are being denied membership... not just this individual.. why would they deny membership (revenue $$) to anyone without a good reason? They'd probably be pretty reluctant to edit their code to do this and I can't imagine them "accidentally" doing it.. Sanctions are only applied for political reasons (it even says that it's against the current regime). Their currency or any other economic aspect has nothing to do with it. Trust me, if Serbia (or really any other country in the world) was being sanctioned for whatever reason, we would hear about it. Honestly, it looks like just a bug. I'll be shocked if it turns out to be anything but.

If you're looking for dragon drops, you'll never get them. Dragon drop hunting is something you should not do.. it'll drive you crazy. They are rare for a reason. I personally have never gotten a drop before.

I'm going to ask a question on the official forums for you.. I've never used the official forums before, and don't know if Jmods answer questions on there, but hopefully I can get one. I'm asking if they delete accounts, and how to know the status of an account (banned or deleted as they're not showing up on hiscores)... and general questions about your password recovery attempt, and how crazy it is (I wouldn't be able to fill in more than 3 of those details asked).. I'll send you a link in a few minutes.

Hmm... Well, I'm sure someone here could help you out if you gave us your details.. That's funny, I just checked the Help section and you can no longer send a custom message to Jagex... or maybe I can't find it? Well I'm sure you could find that information... I'm assuming you live with your parents.. they could tell you, or look at past bill statements or other mail etc. Did you go to Help --> Password Recovery? Is that what got denied? If you can give them more information, it would definitely help.. It looks like they ask for information like: -when the account was created (stupid really, I can't tell you the exact month I created my account) -Your internet provider -Have you ever moved... -and in the custom section - you could give them your name (if you had members before, they should have your name), old phone number, addresses, etc..

There are about 20 other skills you can train you know.. ;)

I remember years ago they deleted accounts that haven't been logged into for more than 3 months.. but I don't know if that's a regular routine or they just did it once to clean up. I haven't played the game for 4 years (came back about 2 months ago) but made sure to log in every few months to make sure something like this didn't happen. You might want to send a query to Jagex asking them how often they delete accounts (or even if they do it)... if you tell them your account name, they would be able to tell you if your old account(s) exist for sure. Edited to add: I would find it surprising if they actually deleted accounts like that, especially ones who are much higher lvl.. so who knows, that account deletion thing could have just happened once, or its a regular routine, but it only wipes out low lvl characters. So I wouldn't panic yet.. There'll be a way to recover your account, especially if you've lived at the same place (or even city) in the last couple of hours.. I believe they do ask that in password recovery, and still no luck?

I think you should relax and wait for them to write you back. Obviously Jagex can make mistakes... this looks like one of them for sure.
