I would not buy a machine from a place like that, simply because most student computer companies are there to capitalise on students not knowing where to get one from. Without having looked at it I'd guess that it's either overpriced or made using budget parts.

I think what you're talking about is blocking the IMEI number, Matt. In which case yes, it can stop it being usable. However, if the thief has passed it on to someone who specifically deals in phone crime I think it is possible to change the IMEI, though perhaps difficult.

Back on topic then, we don't have 'imports' here in the UK because pretty much everything is an import. If I were to go with one country's cars it would be Germany, I like the style, I like the reliability and I like the general idiom. Other than that I've always loved the look of muscle cars, particularly the Dodge Charger, Plymouth Barracuda and Chevrolet Camaro. I'd never drive one because of course the wheel is on the wrong side for me and I imagine they'd be very uncomfortable. If I came into ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã35,000 I'd be getting either an Audi A3 3.2l Quattro or a BMW 1 series M Sport. If I came into over ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã100,000 I'd get either an Audi S8 or a Mercedes S65 AMG.

That no one will have already done a better job, or tuned one that will be able to do it that fast already? Tell me HOW you arrived at the assumption that it will do it in under 1.5s. Small, light car with 1005bhp does 0-60 in 1.67 (claimed) and you think a heavy car with 850-900bhp will do it in less?

You said 'just over' a second. That means it is close to 1 second. Closer to 1 second than 2 seconds or it would be 'just under' 2 seconds. Not any car, the supra that you claimed you'll get. You said that you'll enjoy the knowledge of having a car that will do 0-60 in just over a second, or words to that effect.

Well several folks on this forum who know me can verify that I am an adult, don't live with my parents, have my own car (no, I don't 'tune' it) and my own fiancee whom I live with :) Did you start to question my age because there is no evidence that such a car could do 0-60 in <1.5 seconds? That's what it looks like.

By the way, I'm still waiting for a shred of evidence that a supra could do 0-60 in under 1.5 seconds.

So you're not old enough to drive, you don't own a car, you're not old enough to be working full time being a so called 'tuner', yet you expect people to take you seriously when you say your car will do 0-60 in just over a second? What's more, that Saleen S7 weighs 250kg less than the Supra. I challenge you to provide one shred of evidence that the car you propose would do 0-60 in <1.5s actually could.
