Jet powered laptops?
Aren't times like that to be expected with fuel cells though?

Marshmellow fluff!
I got one from the Selfridges in Manchester recently, I like it with peanut butter on toast.

Anyone noticed?
At least two before scapeboard (counting scapeboard as the board before it got the domain too). The ones hosted by Ruby and the original tip.it forums came before that.

New halo games
On another forum there was a vote for the most overrated games; Halo & the sequel were the two which cropped up the most in that thread, including in my reply.

Not your average favourite cartoon topic!
Penny Crayon or The Family Ness.

Your opinions on cocaine--the drink?
Can anyone say 'viral marketing'? Also, I think you'll find that Red Bull is nothing special, it contains 80mg of caffeine. Compare this to one cup of coffee at between 80-135, and then think how many cups of coffee many people drink in a day. http://wilstar.com/caffeine.htm

Gotta Love Dormitories
It's a Bud Ice bottle; not mine. I don't drink beer, I have strange drinking habits - primarily Port and Amaretto.

Gotta Love Dormitories
My room this year is massive compared to last year. It may not seem it because of the strange perspective in the photos. Mild nudity, but if you can't handle Back Catalogue then you're a stupid prude and would be offended Michelangelo's David.

These games bring back memorys - a request
I think there was a Moonwalker game, that may have been it.

RIP Sony
Just because they charge $600 doesn't mean it's worth it. What's more, will it still be 'worth' it when blu-ray crashes and burns?
-
RIP Sony
I don't think you can compare the two situations, Sega were only in the games business - the same goes for Nintendo.

RIP Sony
Do you not call the XCP saga a mistake?

what books are you reading(or has read)
Not much of a reading book, but I just got "Masters of Deception - Escher, Dali and the Artists of Optical Illusion", a book on optical illusion in fine art through the ages, by Al Seckel. It is absolutely fascinating, and great value for money at only ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã11 or so.

New transmission price?
You've got to be some sort of idiot if you don't realise that buying a 4x4 makes you better than everyone else...

The only way to stop racism is to forget race
Hey, if you're going to copy from somewhere it might as well be the best page in the universe.

The only way to stop racism is to forget race
Also don't forget that a black person may not originally be from Africa, they could be from Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad, Dominican Republic, Brazil or Australia.

The only way to stop racism is to forget race
I can't say for certain whether they exist, just the existence of this very question implies that they do. I think the idea of them is ridiculous. Assume there is a white man and a black man applying for the same job. The white man happens to be far better at it than the black man but the black man gets given the job to fill ethnic quotas - it is just plain stupid. It isn't equality, it isn't judging people based on their merits; it's judging them based on the colour of their skin.

The only way to stop racism is to forget race
I'm in a European country (England) and it isn't illegal here. In fact when you register with somewhere important like a university or a place of work you have to fill in a form which includes what race you are. The same was true for the census. The only difference is they use a P.C. term for it - ethnic background. It seems as though places have ethnicity quotas to fill. You can, however, refuse the information.

Happiness is...
Spoken like a true emo. Joke. The topic title reminded me of that song which plays in Bowling for Columbine: "Happiness...is a warm gun"

These games bring back memorys - a request
Here are a few that bring back memories for me: Daredevil Denis for the BBC Micro, loaded off an audio cassette. One of the first games I really have memories of. Overdrive, the other of the first games I have memories of. Again for the BBC Micro. Another of my favourite early games; Arctic Adventure. The start of a great series of games; Space Quest. One phrase above all others was typed the most - "look controls". Some of the other happiest gaming moments of my life, almost all of them brought to me by Apogee: Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure Crystal Caves LOOM Duke Nukem One Must Fall 2097 Blake Stone All of those screenshots are in their native resolution; that would be the image you saw, just stretched out to 14" or so.

What people will invent using a USB cable...
A 64 inch square George Foreman grill uses 800W. I would be interested to know what power supply the machine was using, it would have to be at least 1KW. I don't know much about electrics but the other facts involved are that USB will only provide up to 500mA at around 5V. Either that or it's fake. Fake gets my vote.

You said views so I suppose they can be negative as well... I don't despise her music, in fact that one song that is always on the TV is somewhat catchy. However, I do see her as a flash in the pan who will be forgotten in a few years. I read in one of those dreadful gossip magazines (I didn't buy it of course) that she was originally meant to be part of one of the female trios such as Atomic Kitten or one of the others; I can't remember which.
