  1. As I said; I'm living with my fiancee and she's a good enough partner for me :P As for what I use it for - scaring people. This is going to be the third year I've been away from parents.
  2. I have a huge amount of stuff so I really hate moving. We have to bring one of those sack trolleys to move my monitors as each weighs as much as a small child & carrying them isn't much fun. Aside from that I have 2 computers which I take, one of which has a massive case and I also have 2 large floorstanding speakers. This year I have also got a full size mannequin which I think I won't be able to take due to its size. Fortunately though, I'm used to it now.
  3. Music & movies forum?
  4. That looks a bit like the Ikea Pello armchair, I've just bought one of those for my flat this year. But in white. By god there's no way I'd want to use my computer in it though. For that I just bought this monster: This year I'm just living with my fiancee.
  5. Haha, unlucky. It is stupid considering not even 10% of the projects will actually be used. Good places to look are simple shops that sell products (not services) and libraries.
  6. You need to be able to talk to the user and interact with them, so realistically you'll have to just go round the shops in your town. I made mine up when I had to do it, mine was for a solicitors firm. Practically speaking there is no way for the examiner/teacher to know that it isn't for a real person. I did mine with WJEC, not AQA.
  7. No matter what I do I want to be considered an expert in my field. Other things I'd like are an OBE or a knighthood.
  8. What about Hooloovoo?
  9. It's a different kettle of fish I think, the Wii is being hypes by the (future) consumers whereas the PS3 is being hyped by the developers.
  10. Wait a moment, I have had the best idea since /pizza: /liposuction.
  11. It would be a game which leaves your console open to hackers, is crammed full of ads and then breaks after 6 months.
  12. In the UK at least, 'somewhat close' can mean 100+ miles as entering mine in there shows the ISP's central link thing in Birmingham.
  13. I think Bubsa was surprised because where we're from no one uses that term as it got the political correctness treatment a long time ago.
  14. Yeah and eating the mushrooms you find can speed up the inspiration.
  15. I've got 2* 21" flatscreen trinitrons, been using 2 monitors since before AGP.
  16. The best and most important things - relationships - are in theory free but in practice very expensive.
  17. Over here if you take the test in an automatic then you're only allowed to drive automatics until you take a test in a manual. Then again automatics aren't as common here as in the US.
  18. I passed first time with 8 minors, and I'm so glad I did. It is such a great thing to pass because it means if you play your cards right you'll never have to take the test again.
  19. How about because all they ask for a quote on is "a hatchback" or "a people carrier". If all they needed to know was what style of car it is to give you a quote then I'd get a Lancia Delta.
  20. They are the main reason I use mute during advert interruptions. They aren't breaks because the word break implies relief, almost that it is welcome, so I use interruptions or penances instead.
  21. Yeah, or else he'll shout at you. Bang! And your ears are gone.
  22. Yeah it fixed itself soon after for me, too. Albosky, I think it was working fine by the time you posted.
  23. Damn, I forgot about the 'must not use a computer limit' before you propose to someone. How far does that extend again? May I ask, what exactly is wrong with using a forum before I go to my fiancee's house? If we're talking about being smooth, who are you to criticise? How long did you avoid using the computer for before you got engaged? Idiot.
  24. Happening now with this one: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=533603 Can any admin comment on this?
  25. Nice post BlueLancer. I'm an atheist because I don't think quite like that, I don't believe something that isn't true at face value until I've seen proof. It comes with being a big bad skeptic. Whilst I realise that agnosticism is the most responsible worldview, I decided to choose, one way or the other based on evidence I'd seen.
