"You cannot make a post so soon after your last."
Not really. It's more or less inaccurate methods in determining which arguments/ideas are better suited for the overall change that could potentially happen. The arguments on either side are pretty much equal to each other, yet technical limitations and lack of the general user population knowing about that thread from almost two months ago is what the problem is in that thread. As well, it still stands to reason that moderators/admins should go a week without the flood control and see how lovely it is, as it would give a better motivation or incentive to the naysayers (moderators/staff) to actually support the idea or the solution that has been posted repeatedly that could lower the flood control without much harm. Actually excluding the low amount of users that know or care to post in here, technical limitations is generally the only reason why a good portion of all suggestions never get implemented, even if they'd benefit the majority. Which is quite annoying and frustrating anyways.

Name for it so totally needs to be mudkip.

Another boneheaded move by Jagex
P2P also got reduced amount of BH/PvP worlds, so stop on the argument that F2P is just getting what it's getting. There needs to be at least 7 worlds for both p2p and f2p.

YAY! Earthquake!
Good thing, too. You should be thanking the earthquake. I have to agree; Coca Cola > All. I plan to move to some place where the Earthquakes are common, sooo want to experience one. Same with a Tornado/Hurricane...:).

How Could the Holocaust Happen? - A Social Experiment
If the point was "one by one" then the teachers example of how they came to power is entirely correct. It's a sad thing but majority of us are cowards, especially when we've been given positive things from the people we're all of a sudden afraid of...or confused of.

Some areas of the forum should require a certain postcount
Post count is subjective to the individuals looking at it. When someone makes a sarcastic reply, we verify the sarcasm by the post count, and if possible other replies to the reply. When someone makes a new topic that we aren't entirely sure to be interesting or spam, we look at their post count and then form our opinion on the topic in our own discretion. If a 5000 post count user posts a news thread topic, it'll be more accepted by the OT community than say a 30 post count user, whether or not the article is interesting or not. My point is that our own bias towards post count is enough reason not to have post count restrictions.

Weekly Poll: Tip.It Twitter Feature
Too many hate Twitter because it's new and they don't know how to use it appropriately, or effectively so that it isn't a hassle to deal with. I bet the majority that say no won't even have any type of an RSS reader. >.> Still, Twitter does have it uses, but how would Tip.It use it to it's own benefit? I don't think Tip.It needs a Twitter account. Anything you could post on Twitter could easily be posted as a topic on the forums, or on the main site. Unless Tip.It had some hardcore fans wanting to know how much progress has been made on a guide...and they're willing to check very 4 hours on it, lol. I don't think there's a use for it, for Tip.It.

The quality of clan members.
1. Do you think clan members of today are more/less loyal as a few years ago? - They definitely are. The clan members that were around before the wilderness removal, were almost always loyal to the clan they joined until the clan closed or they had very rare issues with the clan. Today people leave clans for the heck of it. They're easily bribed, or feel compelled to join that stronger clan, because they don't feel like putting in the work and sacrificing some items for aclan that could someday be very powerful. The instant gratification that we see in real life, is really taking over in the clan world, in my opinion. Then again this was already an issue that was starting to become a major conflict within the clan world before the wilderness removal anyways. I think the past year and a half was just a steroid for the problem. Though I do not know why this has become increasingly more common. 2. Do you think that people are prepared to do as much for their clan as a few years ago? - No, they aren't, and the number of people that are prepared to do what it takes for a clan has decreased. Then again though, was this already happening before? 3. Do you think - in general - top clans of today are as good as some of the legendary clans like DS, ZF, ... - I think clans valued community more so over winning or rivalries than they do today. That's whats different.

Jagex Taking Twitter Questions
I am right, lol. Twitter uses: Heading to a concert, want to know if it's worth going there or not? Go on twitter for instant feedback on whether the band rocks or sucks more than techno (lol). Going to work at 5am? Might be late? Well check the traffic on the highway and see if you might have to speed or not, or just check general road conditions...for FREE, on the go. Have a new product? Updating a product of yours? Use Twitter to get the word out, for FREE, without a marketing department. ---------- There's an infinite amount of uses for Twitter that are not for personal "I'm feeling bored" or "I feel sick" or blog-like tweets. Don't underestimate the immense power of twitter. ---------- Does anyone know if they're posting on the main site, or on twitter?

Best Single-Item F2P Drop :)
So yesterday pure clans were out and about, when a huge cluster fight breaks out between 4+ clans (IR, Cy, A, Dv, Dy, TLP, FOE), and in the chaos this emerges: [hide=Kill Pic - Very Large][/hide] And in total from the cluster fight (I was with Ascendency): [hide=Pictar][/hide] I love you to Bounty Hunter. Too bad it's going down in price fast, lol. Anyways just thought I should share this.

Jagex Taking Twitter Questions
Twitter is not stupid. Do some research and find out why twitter is far more useful than anything else for information updates. ----- A good question to ask is: How effective & useful are the slash, stab and crush attacks on the armours they counter? Is it a large margin or negligible? This is something that would be beneficial to everyone if we found out or knew if the margin was at least worth looking into. Like if it's just 2 more hits, it's not really worth it, but if it's increasing the consistency of all hits by a chance of +5, then it's something we should look into. And not a lot of research has been done on if these different attack styles are actually prominent in giving an advantage over platemail, dragonhide or robes.

ComicScape
Stick figures or how the way it's graphically presented doesn't matter. The context and text does. Thus why I'll never be able to make one funny. But that 1000 ton one made me chuckle.

15th May 2009 - Limited Edition Chosen Commander Hoodies
I'd actually buy it. It looks pretty good, and with the logo on it that no one would ever understand, I wouldn't be embarrassed to wear it. Good job Jagex.

What impact does BH have on some items?
Jagex rewards us with items too much, that can be sold, or used to gain more items. BH and the increase in pking is just highlighting this effect.

Bounty Worlds
Have you pked/warred with a clan in the old wilderness prior to the December Updates that removed the wilderness pvp?: - Yep, at least over a dozen pure and main clans. Do you expect this to be successful? Please explain.: - BH Worlds will be successful. The worlds play off of the thee mains reasons why we liked the Wilderness. Fair fights for levels. Localized fights (so like 100-200 in one area fighting, always a supply of opponents). It's profitable if you can kill players. It's why it will succeed. Do you think they will/should add more BWs?: - No. Back with the old wilderness, people would hop for hours only encountering a few fights here and there. One thing this entire adventure without a wilderness has shown us, is how much we need and enjoy having only a small amount of worlds to choose from. This plots everyone against each other in a far more quicker and convenient manner. Also remember that the main worlds in F2P pking were: 3, 4, 5, 17, 32, 55, and I think one in the 100's, not sure. These were the main active worlds, that people could go to and be guaranteed a fight. Notice how there's only 6 worlds? Putting the random strays in the other fifty worlds into those six worlds, makes a nicer environment to kill people in a quicker fashion. What's your overall opinion of the BW?: - They're on par with the old Wilderness. The old Wilderness was good, but the fact that you had to hop around for so long if you wanted to fight at Castle or find a team at Hills to fight, was quite annoying. BH Worlds though have drops that may or may not be beneficial to you. These two reasons keep each medium of PvP on par with each other. Everything else is pretty much the same, just improved. All we can hope is that Jagex refines the algorithms used to give us the loot we've earned. If they do that then things will work out epicly.

The clan world is shrinking
Before they removed the wilderness, there was an overflow of applicants on almost any clan, large or small. You could create a clan yourself, and within 5 days have 20 people in it, ready to mini war 3-5 times a day. Or constantly pk. After the removal, tons of PvP'ers quit. The pure world was hit harder more so than the main world, but the mains still had their guts put on the floor. Thus applications slowed as the rage and hate towards Jagex continued to grow every day. I'm guessing if yo graphed the increase of rage/frustration towards Jagex and compare it to the decline in applications to clans, you'd see both lines going horizontally and then on December the lines cross vertically, dramatically. Anyways when you put this together: You get that overflow stopping, the current amount of applications is reduced, but the ones that stay after the wilderness is removed, become the last large pocket of applications for almost a year and a half. This large pocket dies out by February, and now the applications for each clan is dreadfully slow, thus this is where we saw clans dying and the mood of the clan world was quite depressing. Then with continued fail of PvP Mini-Games, tons of clan users quit during the Summer holidays. In my opinion I'm going to say 30% of all users that quit because of the removal quit during the Summer or in the month of Dec 07. The other 70% quit through January to June, and after the disappointment in the improvement to Clan Wars and the PvP Worlds. The clan world has obviously been shrinking since the removal of the wilderness, since the core of all combat clans was taken away for almost a year. There was no replacement, people were getting bored and had their last straws out. It's not a surprise that we're still affected by the relatively small amount of active clan users still around. You can do a test though. Count how many people are in your clan. The vast majority will have been in the clan for 8-10 months or more. Compare this to the previous Wilderness times and the vast majority would have only been in the clan for 4-5 months, before quitting. More players have stuck with the clans they were in during the year of 08. As well it's also obvious that clans are living longer than they were before September 08. This is all because people aren't taking quantity over quality as they used to before the removal. But as I've said, it's not a surprise that the clan world is still shrinking, though I'd have to disagree on this for the past week. Whether it's extreme hype, curiosity or false hope, players are logging back on to play the BH worlds. Unlike PvP Worlds though the feedback is more than positive. Couple this with the fact that you basically had free 99s with Soul Wars, and you basically have the ingredients to jump start the player base for pure,s mains and overall the PvP Group ,that don't care for levels, but the experience of PvP. BH Worlds are going to work and bring us out of these dark ages.

Uninstall your graphics drivers and reinstall them. It may have been corrupted and is for some reason fiddling with the java client. All I can think of. Do other java applications work? Like funorb games or something.

What happened to Torstol?
Encountering a major game bug is a once in a life time scenario. It's almost like winning the lottery, who wouldn't go for it? Doesn't make it right, but woohoo, your account gets banned, lol.

LOST
Wow, I finish watching the seasons of LOST just to catch it right in time to watch the Season finale...and wow. The episode went by so freaking fast though, even for two hours, it felt rushed, but it was exhilarating...Intense. I really want to know why John can't kill people for himself, like if he could, this entire show would be done by Season 4, lol. --- [hide=spoilers, idk]If John was from the 1600s, how did he have a 21st century father? Reincarnation? Woot, another sci-fi field in this show, lol![/hide]

9600GT on a 350W PSU
It'll be able to do it, but you'll lack the performance you'd get with a 500W.

LOST
Don't be sad tbh. Every single episode is worthy of being a season finale on any other show. Season finales for 2, and 4 were just epic. Season 5 has become strange, yet still somewhat logical but it's still entertaining among everything else. Season 6 will be mind blowing and the ending will answer everything (hopefully) that is worth finding the answer to and that hasn't been answered in previous episodes. But gosh, latest episode, was just epic the way Ben stood there.

Signatures? (500px width please?)
However you can't upload or use a signature that is more than the limit file size can you? Yes, you can actually. There is no mechanism for checking them built in, other than the image dimension check (Which does not take multiple images into account) I thought so, still I posted as if that possibility was true anyways.
