Dung Weapon Bind
I'd say that the all around best weapon now is the primal rapier, as it can use berserker on both slash and stab, can use tactician and tank modes, closely followed by prom 2h which is able to use berserker and tactician. Spear is still a good overall weapon while not able to use any of the melee bonuses can benefit more from the skiller or mage/range bonuses without too much switching(as it is a ***** now).

Das terrorbird
Kurdal doesn't assign them, why would it be a problem at 87 slayer? But they are still a poor task to do, as are tortoises(too few spawns).

Hidden mines - Why arent they crowded?
Errm, why is this a problem? I would have guessed less people means more ore and less competition.... But well....mining is a poor moneymaker, mining is a ***** to train and everyone who already knows what they are doing are mining at lrc.... why would anyone level 80 mining steal your coal when they can afk mine as much as they want?

200M in all Skills
Why is that impossible? most good merchants have 10b+, and drumgun would probably rather do prayer with frost dragon bones, as they are 2.5 times faster.

The humble cave slime...
These newb moneymaking methods are just funny, with the new dungeoneering update you can already make 350k+ an hour doing nothing, much more if you kill chaos druids at the same time. Cave slime are not good xp nor profit, thus, it's a stupid thread made by someone uneducated about the methods to play the game. Sure, if he really likes it, he can continue to do it, but as it has been proven on this thread, there are alot more profitable moneymakers for newbs. If you value your time as being worthless, we are all okay with that. If you want to figure out ways to help people make money, figure something that makes more than 4m an hour that i'm getting at frost dragons.

Fastest Dungeon?
Same. Rushing seems to totally defeat the purpose of dungeoneering. I really wish Jagex would make it so that you either get penalized more for just rushing through a dungeon, or increase the experience for not rushing through a dungeon. If you think about it, rushing actually is what dungeoneering itself is about- it's not a combat skill, nor a substitute for fishing or rc or anything else- dungeoneering is about working as a team to finish dungeons as fast as possible. It's irrelevant if you like it any other way, rushing a dungeon is harder than killing all the monsters in the dungeon so the extra xp rates are justified. I key around 30 mins, but only when my net works well, so i usually don't key.

On which tasks is uni > bunyip?
Unicorn is better than bunyip on every task, it's just a matter of if bunyip is efficient enough or not- and the tasks where it isn't(assuming you don't have S/S) are miths, kbd, wyverns, black demons, dark beasts, iron dragons and waterfiends(miths and kbd with melee prayer, others without). If you have soul split you won't need a unicorn, though i still use one for dark beast tasks as it's more convenient.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Errm, if you like hitting higher and slower, why not get a maul then? cls barely hits higher than the rapier(around 40 more) and isn't alot slower, so i really don't see those being reasons you bought a cls. As for looks, the only people i've seen bash the rapier are cls owners, and realistically, cls is not a beautiful sword while rapier isn't too bad looking, and looking different is actually what i love about it. Looks are very subjective, and saying that was a significant reason in the decision is quite childish. As for having fun, i don't like seeing paint dry, and fast progress is what i value in the fun department. If being inefficient is what humors you why not use a bronze dagger? There are a load more weapons that result in more fun, the maul being one of them. It just seems people are justifying their poor decision-making and inefficient research before buying one of these weapons.

Onyx Ring (i)
It's the best ring Best ring as in if you need the defense and accuracy in many attack styles, if you aren't or don't, seer, archer, berserker, and hell, even warrior(i) can be better than it in most situations. For all the situations mentioned as of yet, TD-s, bandos and DK-s might be the only ones where it is actually better than the before-mentioned rings, although you do have to own them all. For the other places mentioned- kbd is a joke, miths don't have incredible defense with all these new accuracy boosts anymore and what matters at corp is the maximum damage you can inflict, not high average damage, so berkserker(i) gets you more kills(ffa). As for it costing 16m, i doubt anyone who can't afford it is going to bother getting it, and it's not as though you lose the 16m buying it.

Effectiveness and risk of various methods?
Or something really, really right ;) The current best moneymaker seems to be frost dragons with 4m an hour at little risk, but requires ridiculous levels for most people. Boss hunting is always high risk with good profit assuming average luck, but you need experience in it. Most noncombat moneymakers don't get anywhere near combat, but are low risk with guaranteed money gains. Slayer is most likely the most popular moneymaker, if you have good stats and have the right equipment, using turmoil/extremes will actually make you more money in the long run(as your killing speed increases dramatically).

Spears don't work with new rings?
I just tested out my t7 tactician and berserker over one small and one med solo dungeon killing all monsters with primal rapier and.... Tactician didn't seem too impressive as the accuracy increase wasn't immediately noticeable, but most likely it's still useful to use, max nat damage i was able to hit was 289. Berserker with aggressive stab was much more noticeably good, i used it for a very short while and was able to deal 340 damage max. Berserker with aggressive slash was as impressive for things weak to slash(like zombies) dealing multiple 330+, max being 337, but i used it for a very short while. Berserker with accurate stab seemed just like normal primal rapier, just not accurate enough, and no impressive hits, max i got was 293 over a very big scale of monsters(most of the solo med). This data can't be taken as 100% truth, but most likely berserker works with only aggressive modes, and rapier has two of them(both stab and slash).

70-80 Dungeoneering
You shouldn't do solo med unless you plan to solo all the way, in which case 25-35 med would make sense.

Spears don't work with new rings?
It kind of makes sense not to have the rings work with spears as they are meant to be diverse weapons for all occasions, and you'd need to switch attack styles constantly anyway. If anyone looked at the pictures of how the ring classes worked before the update it was clear a shield is needed for tank, accurate style for precision and agressive mode for berserker, just like you need 3 different styles for ranged. For everyone suggesting the hailstorm+flameburst combo would be best now...what about primal rapier? it has both accurate and aggressive modes including a slash option, 30 more stab, 30 more strength compared to the +40 damage(0,5*100 minus 10) +10% accuracy that combo gives without having one extra bind. I just can't see how this new combo would be better, unless there is something not written about i've yet to see.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
trembake, those are some horrible calculations and assumptions you have made there... Firstly, you'd use rapier on stab, cls on slash, not any other way, and secondly, accuracy is very complex- at dark beasts with ovl, turm ad maxed str equipment cls and rapier have the SAME accuracy, and as accuracy matters very little in most pvm circumstances, rapier dominates cls in those circumstances. Efficiently, the rapier hit's 25% more often, so those are 25% hits the cls misses, but only offers 10% more damage with questionable accuracy increase. Sure- when you need the extra accuracy and are hitting around 50% of the time, the cls comes into it's own, but really, then you are going up against bandos and saradomin, where maul would be even better. And for pking, the fact that you can eat twice between hits kills it.

Power Slaying?
Realistically, it's all about speed, and speed is about clicking and equipment. I'd actually say that while using the best equipment possible and every bonus you can get(CR, overloads, bandos, fire cape etc) you still make a profit as you'll be killing most things much faster than without the bonuses. The real questions about powerslaying is how much you should use your cannon and which drops you'd bank, so there are a load of differences in even how the most efficient powerslayers go about their business. Also- don't just block tasks according to the xp, it's actually much more efficient to take your slaying weirdness's into consideration when making these decisions.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Any particular reason you seem to hold such a grudge against those who use the CLS. You act like it's the hands down worst weapon around, but lets face it, it's the most versatile. The raper is best a low def monster kill, while the Maul is better suited at high defence/weak to crush killing and PVP. The CLS is in the middle, often being the second best weapon to use at nearly any given boss. You seem to act like every CLS owner needs have their brain checked, and you try very hard to point that out in many many posts you've made in this thread. As i said, i don't hold anything against people buying a cls, do it, it's your time and money that's being wasted, but PLEASE do not come to the forums and lie about how good it is so other people would make the same mistake. Rapier is the all purpose weapon for high levels, maul is high accuracy ko weapon for pkers and high defence and cls is the middle child, often left unnoticed- second best- as you said. Second best might sound good to you or for anyone else, but it makes little difference if it's second best or second worst as you can only use one at a time, and a weapon that barely beats a combo of ZS/whip and costs 50 hours of time and 90k an hour to maintain is just not worth it. Sure, cls is the best weapon if you aren't maxed, don't have extremes and turmoil and want to solo or duo bandos, but for most people, this is not the case and is useful for a very limited amount of people- and when those people finally reach maxed combat they will be left with a second tier weapon costing way too much to maintain. This thread is about which of the weapons is better, and realistically, i haven't seen any real reasons apart from being low leveled and skilled to buy a cls, only subjective opinions about how good it looks, how high it hits and how cool it is, and while these might be criteria relevant to buying clothes(not the high hitting, ofcource), they don't seem too convincing while you are looking to buy a weapon in an online game...

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Well with the new dungeoneering update i'd say every cls fanboys just got a major kick in the groin- rapier far outshines cls at frost dragons which is a better moneymaker than any bosshunting around, only place where a cls might have been a bit better than the rapier before the update. As before the update, i could chuckle at the guys who cared about the looks of their weapons, i can now laugh freely seeing them kill frosts with zamorakian spears. Also, i can understand people buying a cls or the maul for that matter, i just don't get people trying to prove that the cls is the better weapon in any relevant situation when infact, it's barely as good, and much worse overall.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
5k ea d bones are like 20gp/xp, and 13k ea frost bones are also 20gp/xp, so those wont be the prices. 4k ea d bones would be 15-16gp/xp, and 15k ea frosts 23-24gp/xp. But because frosts are like 700-1000k/h pray xp, I don't believe that they will go much under 30gp/xp yes but frost bones are much much faster xp, this is similar to how dbones are like 23:1 and dag bones are like 30:1, simply because theyre nearly double the xp/h, well frost bones are about 2.5x the xp/h if frost bones were 13kea dbones would be about 16-17:1 while frost were 20:1 at 13kea frost bones people would stil make 2-2.5m/h and the reason why high lvls would still like it is 1. its much easier than tds, can be afked with no stress 2. does not rely on luck, the money is guarunteed It can't really be afked- with a cannon you'll be running around constantly picking up bones and sending them to bank, switching stuff you have in yak(prayer and summoning potions) so it's still very click heavy, just not as bad as td-s, where a perfect internet connection is a must. With my latest trip i can safely say you can bank 200+ bones an hour using summoning potions, my average over an hour and 40 minutes was 202 dragons an hour, making this easily the best moneymaker around(and bones sell max ge 22k ea). Add too the ~4k profit you gain per dragon should you ever receive a visage and it's almost too good to be true...BUT, for the most efficient method of getting bones you'd need levels of 85 dungeoneering, 96 summoning, 95 prayer, 89 herblore, possibly 96, maxed melee, own a chaotic rapier and still hope for an empty server, which is easy now but will get harder and harder as time passes. I also doubt the bones would go down to anywhere near 12k each as they offer the fastest prayer xp around, can only be obtained by the highest level players who aren't fond of camping monsters and the fact that prayer bones were getting higher before the update. I can easily see dragon bones staying around 5.5k each while frost bones are 20k each.

Dragonkin Lamps
well for 99% of purposes of use, you'd use the much, much easier and quite accurate formula rather than spending 2 minutes more for an exact figure. using the formula of (level^3)/20,2 is the formula most frequently used and produces very accurate results. Rather than trying to calculate the exact figure it would be easier to look at a table of results.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
For anyone still wondering how good a moneymaker frost dragons are- i was able to bank 314 bones in 1 hour 45 minutes, buried around 40 more bones, used up around 2.5k cannonballs, 25 4 dose prayer potions, and the drops other than bones made up around 500k. I used overloads, but it'd be hard to count those into the profit margin. Oh, and around 270 scrolls. 210+ kills is possible with yak+maxed melee, no other familiar really makes sense there. Oh, i also got an effigy, but they don't seem to be very good droppers of those.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
No i genuinely think dungeoneerings useful now, though, your right, i DID hate it. I dont see how its trolling, merely saying that dungeoneering is finally a skill. Before this i would consider mobilizing armies just as much of a skill as dungeoneering. Liking an update to a badly designed skill makes me ignorant? Please, tell. Well if you really wanted to tell us all that maybe you should have written that, because, between the lines of insulting jagex and saying that this update was the bare minimum for dungeoneering to be considered a skill, there was rather a sarcastic tone about it, not the cheery you are now showing it to be.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
Your hate for dungeoneering is already well documented, and even if they do anything about it you remain ignorant. Before, i read is as constructive criticism, now it just seems like trolling. As for ****'ing over the 80 dungeoneers- that was a class move. It makes sense to have a dungeoneering level over that of chaotic weapons for even better rewards, you can't get all at once and the skill still remains worthwhile to train. For slayer training, it will be sweet to cannon/steel titan hellhounds as they were one of the fastest tasks even before the update, and could be nearly as fast as bloodvelds now. Black demons seem nice aswell, as it required way too much running before. Sadly, no cannoning. I really, REALLY hope frost dragons would go under the task of skeletal wyverns(or change it to something like ice dragons) as it would be a great slayer task- the new dungeons are as big as kurdal dungeon ones should have been.

19-Jul-2010 - Dungeoneering Update
Because that would completely destroy the point of the skill- to team. If the skill was designed to be like this, then live with it, crting about it really doesn't help. By the way, anyone who thought solo medium dungeones would be good for solo xp were naive, it was clear months ago they wouln't be better xp than small dungeons. As for the FREE(yes, i can write it like that) crying on this thread, typically classless- you give them a hand and they eat your heart out and still aren't satisfied, not really the first time they have done this, but it's well served jagex never listens to these moans. For frost dragons- crazy! great update for prayer if you look at it, the dungeon these dragons are in is huge, and 132 kills+ is easily possible even without cannon, the blue drag dungeon is what was needed for bone campers. Anyone going to frosts- their magic attack is much stronger than melee, so bandos>karils(with prayer ofcource).

Maging Abyssal Demons?
He can't use wolpertinger, so that is irrelevant in the discussion. Magic potions don't take much more space than prayer potions would, and he would be hitting much more accurately while wasting less money with a bunyip. Berserker prayer would be nice to use to prolong the magic potion effect.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Actually it's great to have people like this- training with dfs, cls, possibly bandos boots and obsidian cape because they are ''cooler''. Why not go for a partyhat and DSS while you are at it, as being good rather than a hypocrite seems less important to these people. Bringing looks to a discussion of efficency doesn't really serve a purpose- cls might have looked nice from the start, but realistically, it was obselete from the getgo- maul/rapier are much better than anything cls can get you, and rapier is a much better compromise even for the higher defence. And well, if you don't agree, then please, prove me wrong, tell me a place where cls is, hands down, the clear favorite of these 3 weapons? because i can name a load for either rapier or maul.
