They don't mage pray, or melee pray. If you don't have fire cape, it's pointless to mage them unless you are after mage xp- you'd be getting it done much cheaper and faster with melee. They aren't particlarly strong monsters in terms of damage, but annoying in terms of digging and freezing. The bonus 50% multiplier works just like any other multiplier does, but, as i said, the 50% still doesn't make it worthwhile. If you don't have the cape, cannoning helps quite a bit because you are losing alot compared to having fire cape for the task. If you don't have soul split, you'll be using melee prayer for the task so the familiar doesn't matter, most likely a BoB will do you justice in terms of not banking half way trough the task. By the way....why not get a fire cape....?

Chaotic maul????
for a balance of slayer and TD-s, rapier. Only TD-s maul would propably be the best, but with slayer factored in, you can't go wrong with rapier.

Celtic Knot Sliding Puzzles
Like too few challenges in this game are revloved around defeating monsters, including getting those clues in the first place. I do think it's a healty addition to have those kinds of games within the game, although i don't think they should be anything an average person with a few hours of practice shouldn't be able to do within ~10 minutes. Puzzle boxes now- a bit too easy, but going significantly harder than that would propably put quite a few people off from the start. You have to factor in that there aren't too many people around with the stats and skill to boss hunt in significant quantity while having the ability and the patience to solve a tough puzzle.

Mobilising Armies: 300 Rank and Lord Marshal
Well at that rate, 100 credits per suicide siege you are going to end up with around 30k total at 300 rank, which really isn't enough for anything. If you want onyx, berserker, archer and seer rings (i)(the most common rewards people are after) it's going to cost you around 770k credits, which would be 1.7m investment credits with siege or 450k investment credits with conflict.
-
Mobilising Armies: 300 Rank and Lord Marshal
It depends on how much you invest every time, if you invest 10k every suicide siege, you will get around 4.5k credits per rank, while doing 1 vs.1 battle with a 10k investment you'd get ~17k credits per ~1,5 rank(assuming you are an average player).

Herblore Training Plan
It might be worth getting some of those levels with super prayers/special attack restores as you are looking at monster hunting anyway- super prayers are cheap(when you factor in the prayer point cost) herblore xp, though not very fast while allowing for longer trips while spec restores are average in terms of cost per xp but very helpful for bandos/TD solo. Edit: You might also look at making some of the initial potions which will later be turned in to overloads for cheaper xp rates, i think super defence should be one of the cheaper ones in terms of gp/xp.

Random Ice Stryke question
If you have an arcane, it propably doesn't matter, though the melee attacks still seem to do a bit more damage, so standing a bit futher makes more sense. It's worth to stand next to them when you use the power of light special, as then the damage is halved.

How can I get better drops from pvp?
Funny how a number like 75003 can make people say silly things like that....

How can I get better drops from pvp?
Well as you can read out of my reply, the things that do effect your dp are lost wealth, combat level and killing a target, so if you pk-ed in 300k gear, increased you combat level by ~10 and duelled with every target you get you'd propaby be making quite a bit more pking. Lost wealth doesn't infinitely effect your dp, as evidenced by some bugs with familiars, however, if you die for a reasnoble amount every once in a while you'd more than likely be getting a profit over the lost items.

Waterfiend Guide - Corrections & Comments
To be honest, this is quite the opposite of what i learned from the guide(apart from mentioning slayer tasks, which would be helpful perhaps). Most of the setups are meant for the average slayer assuming you can see past the extreme potions and replace them with supers(which shouldn't be too hard to imagine). Waterfiends really aren't a welfare monster to kill as they use 2 different attack styles which can do a great deal of damage, and unless you have a unicorn, you will have to atleast use food/prayer/bunyips or a combination of those. Also, unless you can get ss/zs/gs, i wouldn't bother with them at all as a slayer task(as you are giving up alot against a much stronger monster than their combat level would suggest).

How can I get better drops from pvp?
Lost networth over 75k will add to your drop potential so....take out all your bank, go die, and...get good drops. No, really. Other than that, get 138 combat or kill as many targets as you can. Nothing much else changes your drops.

Celtic Knot Sliding Puzzles
I think this would make the most sense in terms of not going too much out of the window in solving these, but, on the other hand, it'd still be quite a bit difficult than the puzzles now. As this hasn't been discussed too much, would anyone like to guess which monsters will drop these babies? 2 of the monsters are confirmed, but, are a bit restricted in killing them. All the boss monsters in rs would also make sense to drop them(mithril dragons included) but would monsters like ice strykewyrms and dark beasts be deemed fit for them? I doubt abyssals would, because that'd just be too easy.

CLS and Chatoic Rapier for Slayer.
It's not really 200k an hour, rather around 90k, which really isn't much(rune knives/fire surge are both 600k+). As for cls vs whip for slayer, as an overall weapon, the cls is better. The tasks that it beats the whip are irons, steels, miths and dark beasts. For other tasks, from what i've seen from others training with one, is that it can be a bit better(abyssals) or quite a bit worse(greaters), but usually averages the same. Rapier clearly beats them both by quite a bit except for perhaps mithril dragons.

Waterfiend Guide - Corrections & Comments
There ya go: Should be the max equipment apart from berserker(i), which i refuse to get. Some notes on that... reqs: iron titan or steel titan, no other familiars are worth it. Obviously 96 herblore for overloads, super prayers, 95 prayer for turmoil, soul split, prefrebly maxed melee, but 95s across the board would do. For the first ~12 minutes the waterfiends are agressive, which means you could have up to 6 of them attacking you at any time, so soul split is a must. As you can see, there isn't too much room for error for the inv, but experience shows not much is needed anyway. For first 12 minutes(while they are agressive) keep soul split on at all times, after that you can heal the overload damage with soul split and flash it again when your hp get's to around 600, but they don't hit that much from that point on. The extra familiars are for when one of them dies, and trust me, they will. The battleplan is to fight one waterfiend yourself while letting the titan attack another while using as many scrolls as possible. This should yield around 200 crimsons an hour, which apart from having a slayer task for them, is the best you can get with only melee. The prep(at bank) for this inv is one dose super antifire and having a steel titan summoned, and the inv should last for around 2 hours, capitalizing most on the nonagressive stage. The alternative is to yak the first 12 minutes and then use steel titan, but it's much more of a hassle.

dungeoneering method
Fastest xp? Have 4 good friends with a load of dungeoneering experience(as in knowledge) and free time, do f 1-25 small 5:5, f 26-35 5:5 large, don't kill monsters in rooms they don't need to be killed, be fast, have atleast one maxed player in the team, have one guy with a great computer+net connection without any lag for fast key running, don't skill within the dungeon beyond minimal needs. Should just about be it, i'm sure there could be some things added.

Behind the Scenes - July
3 updates, all seem good, looking forward to them. Guess this might well serve as an apology.(as there has never been a month with all high end updates)

Dungeoneering Bestiary - Corrections & Comments
It is bad to kill them as they are a useful source of resources- range armor, and as killing them offers no bonus at all and wastes time, it's reccommended you don't do that. For the bulwak beast, it also drops the primal hatchet, and perhaps the others hatchets too(not sure on those though).

Waterfiend Guide - Corrections & Comments
It'a a good guide but maybe lacks a bit of highest level touch and perhaps include something about slayer tasks. For the higest end, i'd reccomend using berserker ring(or the (i) version if you have brains of steel) as strength bonus seems more important there, as does saradomin sword award higher dps for those with extremes/turmoil. For CT waterfiends, it's actually more relaxing to use overloads and teamed with super prayers you can stay there up to 2 hours with a good inventory setup. Do remember that waterfiends are mage based and wil even dismantle your steel titan in around 28 minutes time. For the little extra bit more, if you can afford them, dragon claws specs actually work great against them as a special weapon, usually yielding in around 600 damage each, which teamed with restore specials(assuming you have the inventory spaces) can shave another 1-3 minutes off your task or add another 3-10 crimson to your hourly rate.

Effigy rareness
Around 200k slayer experience per is a good estimate for the droprate, i've seen 13 drops so far in a span of 2.1m slayer xp, but also a 800k slayer xp dry streak.

I Don't Like Jagex
Jagex may be human, but certainly not humane. Why do i say that? Well, firstly because of the way they communicate with their customers, which is less than satisfactory and seems a bit communistic in some ways. They avoid critisism and figure everything they do is always right, refusing to admit to mistakes or apologize for them. Secondly, as of around 2 years ago, they have stopped worrying about their customers as much and have resorted to make as much money as they can instead of thinking of the wellbeing of the game as a whole. The bans for serious offences have become overly lenient and offencive language is no longer something you can at all get banned for. Add in the reacent rise of autoers which jagex seems clueless about and you've got a pretty terrible overview for the future of the game. And i havn't even got to the part of future updates being leaked beforehand, shich is as terrible as it could get. Jagex built their game by offering cheap and cheerful gameplay, with which they seem now to be whiping their ...'es with. Sure, it's the point of a company to make as much money as possible, but at what cost?
-
Barraging Lobs
In terms of money, surely not. Alot of people don't bother with nothing but crimsons+blues for summoning and enjoy combat over constantly luring some lobsters. Not to mention that green/gold charm summons are much more costly and slower xp.

Rock climbing boots affecting RuneScape
Good job pulling statistics out of your ass like that xD Statistics- the racist science. Though i agree, i doubt the american population is much more than 50% and maybe not even that much.

The Fastest XP Possible?
Well i'm all for mentioning those things IF you can count the other ridiculous methods, and infinite luck being one of them. For money, if you do every skill in the most efficent way you will propably make a small profit, so that's why money usually isn't counted in this. By the way, BA is efficient, but it's hard to come up with any meaningful numbers for that. SC isn't usually efficient.

Dragon Defender confirmed.
I think a similar effect as the ferocius ring or fire cape on ice strykes would make more sence(something like +10 damage) as defenders are rather used as offencive equipment. Your idea would only work if the defenders were actually rare and not everyone could afford to use them in wildy.

The Fastest XP Possible?
So having rules means less fun for you? Also it's not about taking something too seriously, but being smart, and i don't see what people have against being smart about the game. If brawlers should be counted, so should infinite luck(hitting 600 every time, cathing a fish every game tick and so on). It's not practical, but atleast, supposedly, fun.
