  1. Great find, but sadly it's a bug, though i doubt you could be dealt with for not telling them about it or using it. Seems like there are 3 puzzles this would be helpful for(mining and crafting weapons for the 2 statue ones and imbuing and crafting body parts for the large statue).
  2. How do you kill the 360s that fast? And anyway, it's still the worst task in terms of combat xp and drops, no chance of effigies and guaranteed loss, and if you happen to fail the task....
  3. And who says he does? I'm fairly sure drumgun hasn't ever said he is going for 5B xp+, and it is real easy for you to say to go for something, but the reality is, barely a percentile of people in the world could realistically do that with zmi, and next to noone could ever do it with death runes(for money). Coupled with the fact that rc is actually terrible money, he would rather do frost dragons for the money, perhaps even use the bones himself. What a joke. I'm guessing you know best.... Judging by your stats, you have never actually killed a frost dragon...
  4. With the new dungeoneering room thing for black demons you can get like 45k even, its awesome  I agree with those blocks, would block desert/jungle strykewyrms too since they have low hp are spread out and you have to call them before you can fight them. Also warped tortoises suck since there's only 2 spawns so you always have to wait. Tzhaar are nice if you dont suck at jad, suqahs/terror dogs/miths are all kinda fast tasks (under 15 mins) so I wouldnt bother skipping even if they arent the best xp, and dust devils really start to suck once youre maxed so you can skip those if you feel like it :P How are they nice even if you can kill jad 100% of the time? It usually takes around 70 minutes and awards 38k xp, which is a terrible xp/h rate(around iron/steel dragons), coupled with the fact that you lose quite a bit of money and get very little combat xp, it's really the worst task to do(unless you need a fire cape, in which case it's doubtful you'll have 100% success rate).

  6. No, it's the dragon scimitar of capes to be honest. 4 prayer is 2 more than fire cape, but 4 str 1 attack less, 2 less than ardy cape(and 6 stab less) and a whopping 8 less than sw cape. So by that logic, sw cape is 3 times the cape a skill cape is, which is a large difference. Face it, the stats are horrible and there is no place where the cape would be the best to use(where as cls is the best weapon in certain situations).

It's not worthwhile to kill them in a 5:5 large team because you might run into a range based boss, in which case you wouldn't be able to make range armor. Other than that, it doesn't matter if you kill them.
  8. I rarely wear my farming cape when i'm doing nothing, as a sign of the achievement, but other than that, when i really need an useful cape, i never wear them, the stats are horrible and they don't look better than SW/fire capes and hardly show any achievement at all. Seeing a slayer cape when training slayer is not a sign of achievement, but a tragedy.
  9. Living rocks, kalphites, jungle strykewyrms, suqahs and wyverns, mostly frequent boring and slow tasks. I frequently cancel spiritual mages, tortoises, greaters, black demons(probably won't now due to the new spot), dust devils, tzhaar and terror dogs, mostly due to terrible spawn rate and points.
  10. Cursed you got 99 construction with mahogany tables with other people running the planks for him(as there weren't any planks yet and no ge). He didn't train with thrones, that would have been pointlessly difficult. Staking doesn't exist anymore, so you can't take that into account. 69 farming is not worse than 99 farming, when he wants to start farming, he will, but i'm guessing it's too costly for him right now.
  11. I'm not 100% sure on this but if you are already using the best equipment and everything it wouldn't even make sense to always bank the bones if it's not significant money(in this case 450k an hour, which isn't much) because of the timeloss and the extra bother you have to put up with. If you are using overloads, you could just be walking on a too tight rope of trying to SS heal, and if you don't have SS your trips will last significantly less. I frequently don't even pick up nonstackable med price items(like runite bars) because they aren't significant in the perspective of what i am down there to kill them for(effigies, chewed bones, DFH and visage). If you lose 10 kills an hour you are more or less losing out on xp and potential greater profit for a med amount of cash. You can kill 300 blue dragons an hour, miths are a bit more limited, with the same 100% drop. Depends on the boss hunting you are looking to do. If you ONLY solo bandos or sara, cls, otherwise rapier.
  12. Errm...has anyone said that farming is a skill all these guys are going to stumble on or something? If this has been said, they are dead wrong. Farming will easily come withing 2 years of normal herbs/trees/fruit/calquat farming without sacrificing pace in all other skills, so while those methods might seem nice and everything, are completely irrelevant. If a skill costs more than 30 gp/xp, it has to be atleast 1m xp an hour, unless it's rc, in which case it would need to be atleast 100k an hour.
  13. obviously. and without a steel titan, it goes back to stats/pots/prayers, which we covered. I'm not entirely sure, but isn't rapier better than long at mithril dragons as well? That's the only cloud of uncertaincy I have really. Huh? Does damage from familiars lower opponents prayer with smite? We were discussing Tormented Demons. I'd still like to hear how CR vs CLS fares against mithril dragons, without overloads/yak pack/steel titan (with super antifires though, I'd certainly have it by then, and I imagine many others would by the time they get a chaotic weapon). What would you do with a yak or steel titan at miths? unicorn is clearly the best familiar there unless you want to SS switch constantly(which is a bother). With extremes and piety, CR is easily better than cls at miths, i can kill 90 in an hour with overloads and turmoil, and it's still very accurate there(and remember, cls is 13 more stab than CR, less than 10% more with a 25% speed loss). Also i don't find too much information on the thread that even though cls might be better than rapier at some bosses, but the number one moneymaker is clearly dominated by the rapier and thus it's quite irrelevant how much better the cls is at those places. Ofcource, there will be people doing those things for fun, but then again, rapier is easily sufficient for those situations, and anyone with 80+ dungeoneering shouldn't see 85 as too much of a stretch.
  14. I'm guessing around 33k an hour is possible with a perfect internet connection. I suggest doing 1-24 small and 25-35 med for that, using primal rapier or prom spear as the weapon(prom 2h really isn't a soloing weapon). For the fastest experience, you need to learn how to do the setup in less then a minute, learn to use teles the right way, only kill monsters that you really have to(gd doors) or very low level ones(for level mod), learn to do puzzles quickly(like for instance the rc floor) and be efficient at bosses. Dieing in solo really isn't a major problem so don't worry about it much. Also, NO skilling. If you can't do small dungeons within 10 minutes, you are doing something wrong.
  15. There is already an accurate formula on runwiki, but it's way too difficult to be widely used and helpful, so saying that it's (level^3)/20.2 is accurate enough.
  16. 223 gp/xp is unrealistic, even for these guys, and considering it's farming, definitely not worth it. People that have never dealt with the problems of having more than max money should really not make childish suggestions about how to train skills. If there was a way to train rc or slayer for 100 gp/xp, then it might be realistic, but considering these guys are in a deficit of money and even merching takes way too much attention those ways would hardly be feasible. We all know construction can be trained with demonic thrones, but until someone actually does it on a scale that matters, it's not a training method.
  17. It's rather 100-150k slayer xp per, or rather even 125-150k, but for frost dragons they seem to be sub 60k imaginary slayer xp per(as they can't be assigned, but we know how many slayer xp they would give). But for the slayer figure, it depends a lot on the tasks you do- higher level monsters drop them more and lower level monsters less often, but at the same time, take more time to kill. The best are probably monsters that are semi high level that are easy to kill, such as abyssal demons, black demons and iron dragons. Also, the small scales mentioned on the thread are completely irrelevant, i have gone 800k slayer xp without one, and also got 3 from a single task, 2 from a single task for like 10 times, but it all averages out in the end.
  18. Frost dragons. Nothing else really seems to get close.(and yes, i've killed a lot of all other monsters with 5.7m slayer xp since the update).
  19. This would be a perfectly fine comment coming from a 138 with 90 dungeoneering but.... Because it makes sense. Autogroup can get you into a team with a big load of dungeoneering newbs that will surely slow you down. If you only include 80+ or 90+ dungeoneers you are sure to get most of the people right. People don't want to play the lottery. If there was an autogroup f32 large 5:5 combat 135+ dungeoneering 80+, people would use it.
  20. Well, if you think about it, and really, really want people to look at your thread you should... Post it on general discussion, ''accidentally'' post it 5 times due to lag, have some racist comments in the description, use terrible grammar, say that the CLS is the best weapon for everything, say that dungeoneering is the best skill out there, say that free players deserve a lot more updates, suck up to MMG and say that doing things efficiently is the way to go.(yes, i know i could have gone on forever) Just a tip :)
  21. Yes, and all of the stages are bankable except for the dragonkin lamp.
  22. Well i always try to write as well as i can, but the fact that i learned Estonian grammar for 12 years instead of English makes it a bit harder. It also helps if you have the auto-grammar corrector along with firefox, which helps you learn a bit of grammar. As for bad grammar usage, i really, really hate the word ''zerker'' being used. I have yet ot hear anyone go zerk when they get mad...

It's helpful to have atleast 2 attack styles, so this is why the primal maul is used less than the prom 2h. For solo, i'd say that the rapier is even better as the speed helps while being able to use shields. Alot of monsters in dungeoneering are weak to stab, and not having crush isn't as bad. Because you aren't able to use primal weapons, prom 2h are what you are looking for.
  24. Or since you only have 54 posts no one gives a damn if they see you or not. Well there are still quite a few people with alot of posts yet to be sniped. This is just mostly about tipit-ers on w99 hanging out at the ge or slaying.
  25. yes, chaotic rapier, already recharged it 7 times, beyond happy with it.
