200M in all Skills
That's really why you should join a group to dg. In a group setting it's easier for people to teach others and for the team to take notice, while in random teams people take offense of being told what to do and are generally stubborn. There are actually many groups you can join, obviously dgs being one of them, but once you can get to 100 or 105 ultimate dg or 3bo are very good options aswell. Obviously only dgs is tip.it based, thus why i would always mention it first, and it's also the only one with no level requirements. As for thunderous, if you see the team is crap at it just order them all to go out and make/drop strong melee/rejuv potions on ggs. In a solo setting, assuming you never screw up(which is very reasonable) and use turmoil, thunderous doesn't even take that long(like 2 min solo with primal 2h, strong melee and turmoil). I finally got around to binding a prom hatchet today and testing how woodcutting would work. I did the test over frozen floors 1-11, completed every dungeon(got plane freezer 3 times, which is a slow boss) and got beast mode every time. The total time it took was 84 minutes(used real time, not dungeon time counter) and i gained 129,7k woodcutting and 84,1k fishing xp in that time. That is an average of 84k woodcutting and 60k fishing xp an hour. Now, i did get unlucky with the fish i got, so i summed them into my frozen floor average(data over 100+ frozen floors, my average for the test was 47) and used the average figure of 60 fish per dungeon to see what the results would be with more average dungeons(and assumed it takes 2,5 seconds to get one fish, which is very consistent for me). The results would have been 86k woodcutting and 71k fishing xp an hour, which is very reasonable. I also calculated how much pure wc xp an hour i could get, and again, assuming it takes 2,5 seconds per fish, the hourly rate would have been around 124k an hour, more if i'd had a primal hatchet(prob like 5% more). Now i know this isn't much data, but it atleast proves that c2 skilling is both fastest woodcutting or fishing xp in game(and even better if you combine them), and if you'd have a friend do the dungeon for you, it would be ridiculously fast. Keep in mind, for all the tests i've done, i've never used mousekeys for dropping, had cosmics bound or quit before any boss, so the maximum rates assuming you only want to skill(i do them as i need c1's done) would likely be 140k fishing or 160k woodcutting(or 80k fishing and 90k woodcutting) xp an hour assuming you do floors 1-5 having cosmics bound and either have rapier(can do all 4 bosses real fast, likely still quit icefiend) or quit dungeon before boss; soloing. Also, as you can see, i haven't mentioned firemaking. That is because the skill itself is so fast(412k xp PH according to grimy) that you'd need to burn one log per 2,1 seconds for it to be on par with fming in normal rs(that 2,1 seconds is for both the extra movement it takes you and the actual time it takes you to light the logs) and i'm not really sure that's doable(it takes around 2,5 seconds to fish one fish and 4,2 seconds to cut a log). Oh, and i'd also appreatiate it if anyone could give me an accurate account of the fastest fishing and woodcutting methods in game without dungeoneering. The other xp you get while doing the best methods(as i'm fairly sure fishing will be barb fishing and woodcutting with adze) can be discounted against the best method for each skill(620k cooking xp an hour, 412k fming xp an hour and 95k agility xp an hour, strength is basically worthless but can be seen as around 1m xp an hour).

Solo nex isn't currently possible with the dps weapons we have as you can't basically outdamage her blood and soul split stages. Smoke, shadow and ice(assuming you can break icicles yourself) are the easier stages, i'd love to see anyone getting past blood(i'm quite certain you'll need to kill 2 revers and then do all the damage you can on nex, but even killing 2 reavers was too much for stokenut, so i have no idea how you'd counter her blood spells that too, heal her. Soul split, as we have seen from people left alone in the final stage, is barely, JUST barely outhittable with max range.

200M in all Skills
Now that i've tested it further, it's vry much clear that lower floors have the most fishing spot(as they should have, easy floor=more resource) and as all the bosses from f1-6 take like 20 seconds with primal rapier(the best c1 bind by far) you shouldn't even leave floors before boss as that would take more time. Soloing with cosmics and rapier bound on floors 1-~8 is around 130-140k fishing xp an hour, with likely up to 180k duo. The tests thai did are basically useless because of their nature, and nearing 200k without having 3+ people in there is very much unrealistic(and even with 5 people it might not be possible). And LMAO at the question thai just asked...

Rock lobsters nerf
No that's cannoning cave crawlers. Even waterfiends were likely better with the best way to kill them and effigies added in. Lobsters was basically becoming a place for low levels to get easy charms, so i don't really have any problem with the nerf- it's not as if they are terrible now or that there aren't good alternatives.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
I think baxe(might be warhammer, but that is otherwise limited) crush is overall best in the game but... can you tell be a slash/stab weapon that is good for both low and high defense? likely not. Spear is a TERRIBLE weapon as berserker doesn't work with it(15% worse than rapier for stab, 25% worse than rapier for slash). If you are going to have 2 melee weapons, you have to cover all 3 styles with berserker and have something for high defense, and basically only rapier+2h covers that(maul/warhammer has no high def slash, which is needed for mages/rangers).

Name Length
Yeah. I actually delete all the namewhores on my list nowadays since i have no idea who they are.

How much faster do rocktails get from 90-99?
I wonder why anyone would do that :ohnoes:

Weapon binds better than Prom 2h?
I wouldn't reccomend getting rid of plate when you are without hood. You'd basically eat trough everything, try to tank nothing and die loads. Even one nonhooded can be a major pain, i can't imagine nonhooded people dealing with 100% damage thrown at them. As for binds, at <100 dg you are pretty much limited to p2h or primal battleaxe, but i'd recommend baxe with csb(just personal preference, haven't seen anything magical from my 2h yet). Over 100 it's likely even between rapier/necklace and celestial cat as offensive binds, but if you have hex, you'll again have to have 2h or baxe.

ceremonial swords
It's not worth it unless you make ridiculous amount of cash(pro merch, nex). I think it's around 0.5% rep per addy ceremonial sword.

200M in all Skills
You could try joining DGS...we are always looking to teach new people and if you learn to key well, you should have absolutely no problem getting 200m in dg(if you are a great keyer, dg ming be the easiest 200m bar cooking with brawlers).

Everything Dungeoneering
- You should c6 solo small/c6 duo med up to 50 dg and then alternate solo/duo with w117 up to until 75, at which point you can do enough floors with DGS alone. I know the teams on w117 are terrible, but well, so are you at first. - The keyer is the general of the team, they will open key doors, direct the team to gd's/skill doors and ask for certain places to be gated/certain things to be made. You should ALWAYS do what the keyer tells you to unless you know better, which you won't for the first 90-110 levels. - Rushing is completing the dungeon with least amount of effort. There is no particular opposite of rushing, as rushing, most or majority of the time is the norm for dungeons(you don't mention the team is rushing, but you would have to mention if you aren't rushing). - As said previously, the skill is quite slow to train at first but gets much faster with higher levels and better teams(for which you need higher levels). The amount of time is strictly personal for each person. - You can get a decent amount of strength xp, but that's about it. The other xp does add up, but certainly isn't fast. If you choose so, you can train some skills while getting your c1's done(there is a link to a guide about this in my sig) - You'll always need to prepare atleast 80 minutes for a w117 dungeon and 40 minutes for dgs dungeon, but other than that, c6 solos take around 8-12 minutes each. - You should have atleast 45 defense and the highest attack level you can(for best 2h), but other than that, a low total level is a major advantage when you are starting out as a dungeoneer. Hope the answers help.

Making bank while skilling
I think grenwall hunting with 99 would propably be the best skilling moneymaker right now, but even that's like 1.5m ph max. Other than that, although herbs are worse now, you should always farm torstols with scroll of life and farming juju.

Guide to efficient dungeoneering C2 fishing/skilling. {wip}
Firstly, gatherer increases the amount of wood or ores you get, but not xp. Secondly, as fish aren't affected, it could only be useful for firemaking, which i don't recommend.

they could just ask me :P It's not as though half the items in normal rs are worth using, so i don't really see a reason for that to be the case in dg. Grimy, you just aren't uber enough... <_<

Below 100 only baxe and 2h are acceptable. Rapier alone just can't deal with having to mage all the skeletons(basically can't even kill skele mages) and if the boss isn't ragered you'll have loads of trouble. With 2h and rapier, i basically have nothing i'm not strong against.

Uhm, we dg together because dging with people who don't know what they are doing is painful. With dgs, we can usually dilute some unexperienced dungeoneers into good teams and teach them. At the same time, the goal of dgs can't be to just teach, as that's neither fun or productive to any of us. If you've learned to dungeoneer in an intelligent way and go back to 148 you'll just rage at everything everyone is doing wrong(and there is no point in trying to teach anyone as a) they will not listen and b) it's highly unlikely you'll ever dg with them again). As for the staff, with 2h and rapier bind, i only ever have to mage forgotten warriors and some bosses, and i really like it that way. As i'm never planning on getting t10 blitzer(haven't got reset left) i'm fairly sure making emp fire(emp cat and fire runes for bosses) will be enough for me to handle. As said, i'm keeping an open mind, and if i don't get enough berserker titles i might switch the binds.

I don't think that staff would be well served as i'd need to make fire runes to have any use of that, and making an emp fire is just as easy. Also, as i'm nearing 99 rc, i'd be able to make emp cat staves to basically eliminate the need for cele cat. Rapier atleast will always be useful as it's the best weapon for demons, hellhounds, brutes, zombies and low def, while i can always switch to 2h for high def. But yeah, the jury is still out, i just don't want to plate something for defense and keeping an open mind otherwise.

what ;_; 2) do what Tui did that floor -- shame the team. :P You know dieing alot has a slight advantage in prayer, no? If there is little to be keyed in a dungeon and you have infinite pray, that's what happens(although yeah, she did it twice in a row  ), can't even do anything about that with 2 melee weapons.

Even rapier+2h combo can't get berserker over a crazed pietying keyer <_< Dw, got berserker and battle mage on the next one

200M in all Skills
Low alch is basically the same as dropping(the difference is you need 2 clicks to drop), and because c2's have the most fish per dungeon(other complexities don't even come close), and runes can only be acquired in higher complexities, low alching would be useless.

Spectral vs Eagle eye kite
You don't lose the price of the item when you buy it, so the only money you lose buying a spectral is the potential of which you can make while flipping that money, so if you don't flip or have 1b+, you lose nothing having a spectral, thus it's then a better option(you can't resell eeks for 200k tokens).

Yeah.. but just saying, 35 is the highest floor for aban2. If I have 30-35 open, would I get more, less, or the same xp by doing 35 35 35 35 35 rather then 30 31 32 33 34 35. Doing 35 5 times is less xp than 30-35, which is 6 floors. Doing 35 five times while having 31-35 open will get EXCACTLY the same result as doing 5x 35. You only lose xp when a lower floor ticks off a higher floor.
