Guide to efficient Frost dragon slaying.
If you can click fast enough to kite the dragons, piety is much better than the leeches. Otherwise, i'd suggest ranging before you get turmoil.

Korasi's Sword
DClaws's damage distribution isn't uniform like that of the DDS, so the expected hit from Claws might be higher. Plus it's significantly more accurate. With that said, I think DDS still might win out against 0 defense because of the 2 added specs. only the problem is dds spec are barely better than rapier, so you'd still be more efficient with claws.

200M in all Skills
Yeah, even though i don't think he would fit in 3bo without atleast 100 dungeoneering, he would be better for group dungeoneering than someone like squisher who isn't fit to key in dungeons(due to low skill levels).

Skeletal Wyverns
With soul split, unicorn and some food, you'd be fine. I think people are forgetting that you'll actually want to gather the bones instead of leaving them on the ground(which is what you'd do with unicorn). The best setup would be good melee gear(bandos, neit, SW etc) and DFS+ CLS>CR~whip and to bank the bones with yak. Using protect/deflect magic, ofcource.

gold bars or steel plates
Actually, smithing rune is very much viable aswell, usually being one of the most efficient methods, assuming you've got the level for it.

Korasi's Sword
The monsters for whom you should use KS spec instead of claws are... Mithril dragons, wyverns, black dragons(quite borderline), maybe steel dragons(but claws get a much higher boost from fero) and that's about it. The spec isn't very good in multy-combat and only gets a +40 damage boost from fero ring(claws get up to 160 damage boost).

200M in all Skills
Does he know he's racing you? weve been thru this if you read last page im simply trying to beat him to 200m, not realy a race Too bad you are badly getting beat by viv... :shades: Now that warped floors are released, the highscores are bound to get alot more normal in a month or two. Will be easier to track and see the top player progress.

How do leech curses work?
It's more than likely that your opponents defense always starts at 100 when you first attack him, regardless of your boosted defense level, but there is really no way to know for sure.

How can it be better than rigour? Rigour will always have 13 ranged attack and 8 prayer points over it, so it will ALWAYS be better. Eagle eye, by my accounts, is about as good.

possibly greatest accomplishment skill wise ever!
I still think 200m RC is a much greater achievement. Assuming that you'd use effigies on slayer, the hourly xp rate is 60k+, which is on par with the best of runecrafting xp, and not only that, slayer is actually fun, profitable and trains LOADS of other skills at the same time. Grats to him though, it's an amazing achievement.

Why wouldn't you just use ring class for one combat class? And well, the quickswitch does help alot i switching classes, you just have to be smart about it(use one class for a gd or smth).

The loss in ranged attack bonus is not very significant, but still there(either 8 or 13 ranged attack bonus). The loss in prayer bonus(13) is VERY significant, more than likely, because ranged armor has low prayer bonuses, you'll also have a negative or low prayer bonus, meaning you'll waste alot more prayer potions. The fact that it costs 40k tokens is also somewhat of a setback, and as it won't be significantly better(or not better at all) than eagle eye, not worth it in my opinion. Rigour is definitely alot better and worth it for loads of other things.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
But wouldn't it be better if your 1.3-1.5k world (as well as any population) has the same spawn times as a 2k world? You get more kills in a set amount of time. That's what I'm implying. But you are f2p, so you could be horribly wrong and just blowing smoke. And in this case, you are. Talking about what you know- that's the key.

Against rigour? definitely not. Against 15% prayer(hawk eye, i think it was)? borderline, but the inconvenience of carrying loads more potions are a major drawback. I wouldn't recommend buying one, that's for sure.

Healthpoints
I think the fastest way of purely training hp is chinning atoll skeles.

Surge box
Why? as far as i can tell, 5:5 large occult floors are flooded with celestial mages, and they are the ones most likely to drop them. Not to mention, you wouldn't be losing any xp in the process(as large 5:5 floors are the best for xp aswell).

Does AoZ work on tier 1 and 2 prayers?
Considering that the OP is F2P, and this necklace is the only way of recharging prayer away from an altar this could be a great way to increase training efficiency. Wrong necklace, pal(and a stupid post thereafter). Also, sy, 15%(20% with ammy) def, str and attack would be much higher drain rate than piety(1 vs 1.5 pp/s) and 15% str and attack(20% with necklace) would be the same drainrate as piety BEFORE factoring in the loss of 11 prayer bonus(and let's be clear about it, it's a 11(13 with fury) point loss, not 8) and alot of other bonuses thus it's never worth using for p2p melee. For f2p melee, as there are very few prayer bonuses, it's only worth using when you are fighting in front of an altar, otherwise the prayer point consumption is going to kill you(not to mention, in a no-prayer-recharge fight, you should only use protection prayers). For ranged, it's somewhat better, although it's still clearly beaten by rigour(which you should definitely get). For magic, it's ****.

Does AoZ work on tier 1 and 2 prayers?
The problem with the logic of ''hey, i get 10% added for the cost of 5% prayer'' is that you also lose 8(or 11 compared to fury) prayer bonus, which may or may not cost you more prayer points in the end(assuming you'd have just used the 10% in the first place). I don't see the new amulet having alot of uses, furthermore, considering it costs 45k tokens.

02-Nov-2010 - Dungeoneering The Warped Floors
I think this update actually makes rapier much better than it was before. Firstly, most of you guys are forgetting about the speed- it's 25% faster than either longsword or battleaxe and 50% faster than the 2h, which makes a big difference. Couple that with the fact that it can use both stab and slash on berserker, it's great for both stab and slash weak opponents. Now, ok, i understand, it can't do anything against crush, BUT, when you consider that crush is more than likely to be covered on 95% of the large dungeons anyway(people with 2h/battleaxe), it's not a huge problem. Couple that with the new surgebox, for which you don't need to swap weapons(like for 2h), and you are no longer vulnerable to high defense prim warriors, skeletons or fire giants- magic will be at least as good as 2h for those. I think the addition of CSB and quickswitch rings really benefit both rapier and battleaxe much more than prom 2h, thus making both better weapons than the 2h alone, although primal 2h is still the best overall weapon.

Celestial surgebox
i've seen about 5 primal battle axes, 2 primal platebodies, and a hexhunter drop, versus 1 celestial surgebox since the last DG update. The difference is, those items can only be gotten on ~6 specific floors if you are lucky with the boss- you can get a surgebox on any floor and complexity. A friend said his team got 3 surgeboxes on one occult floor so...

Powerslaying WFS
35k slayer xp an hour is possible with ZS, so assuming maul is ~5-10% better, maybe 38k slayer xp an hour(with steel titan, obviously).

Shadow Silk Hood
I got my hood from a c1, although i don't think doing c1's is the best to get hoods(spiders are very rare).

Yeah, they spend 20 minutes to form a team, then do 10 large dungeons in a row. How is that a bad thing? Is it better to take 5 minutes to form a team every floor, then come here and bi**h about lousy teammates on these forums? I haven't seen any 3bo members crying that big boy nr. 7 took their salve eels...

02-Nov-2010 - Dungeoneering The Warped Floors
From what i've seen from videos, the last boss isn't at all that hard, you just need to know what to do. From what i've heard, disabling your prayers while he grunts means he will not hit you for max lp-1 damage, and that attack is the major reason why all these people get killed on videos.

Pro DGing
Most of them are maxed and are good enough at combat not to let monsters hit them. With 99 def and 3 binds(weapon, hood and plate/body) there really is no reason to waste your time making armor when you can survive on prayer/food, and if you can't, you should get better at combat. The fact that you don't have any experience at this only proves that none of your arguments hold any water.
