Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Oh no doubt in my mind that he could say something like that. I mean afterall when a monster has infinite slash and stab defense then you'll never hit with either a longsword or a rapier. So having the zeros flash up sooner with the rapier is a definite advantage. You can use a defender with CLS. Advantage is mute. Heretical idea? Definitely, since CLS must be used with shield is biblical law. So sayeth the tabulated data sheets which basis can not be questioned. I won't mention that CLS has a stab attack, I promise. :-# Why do you pretend to be smart when you aren't? Infinite defense, unless it really is infinite(which is not what grimy considered), does not mean you are not able to deal damage, just as it's possible to miss on a chicken with chaotic maul(~infinite attack vs. ~no defense). Against any numerical amount of defense, assuming that the stab/slash defense is equal, rapier will ALWAYS be better, and if you can't understand the maths behind it, don't make bold statements. I'm quite surprised to find you lacking in the logic department, too. I thought it was painfully obvious that all bonuses affect the faster weapon more than the slower one, but i guess i must have been wrong. That comment was incredibly stupid. Yes, the CLS has a stab attack, so what? Have you looked at the accuracy? 17 less than slash? Yeah, real useful. Using the CLS with a shield might not be a biblical law, but considering that the rapier is always better in a situation where you can use rune defender, it's next to useless to consider CLS without a shield.

Maging Abbysal demons
when i didn't mention using leech ranged, i did it for a reason. explaining this would likely kill me.

Efficiency
You completely misunderstood what i said. The point was, if you don't have the knowledge, don't pretend to do so. It's not helpful trying to prove that zezima wasn't efficient when he actually was efficient. I understand, and im not trying to prove that was he was inefficient, but rahter that even if it was inefficient he wouldve succeeded because of consistency rather then efficiency. While playing efficiently does make sense in most cases, its all about what one enjoys. If you hate BA then dont use a horn for agility simple as that, if you love BA congrats your doing waht you love and your effiicent Now if i did my own vandrilla style challenge account, say 99 slayer with only a bronze dagger and i get 99 slayer because im did what i wanted, i would be better off then someone who gained xp 10x faster then me but quit in the process I understand your point about sticking to your goal, but what does it exactly have to do with efficiency? Also you did say that it likely wasn't the efficient method, and you were wrong about that, so it proves that you were talking about things you didn't actually know. Then again about partyhats, and than again about 99 smithing....Thus- if you weren't around(or were but wasn't aware), don't assume to know things. As for enjoyment, as i've said time and again, true efficiency(as it is defined in a dictionary) takes absolutely every variable into account to find the method that saves most time(in rl meaning, resources too, but almost all rs resources are infinite, almost all real life resources are finite). If you enjoy a method and can stick to it until you achieve your goal, it will likely be the efficient method for it for you(unless theres a method of higher xp and comparable enjoyment).

Maging Abbysal demons
It's not worth it to kill frost dragons without a cannon, it will barely be better than abyssal demons. As for frost dragons magic defense- with leech magic/defense, it's not that bad. Magic is around as good as range with zammy bow+zamorak arrows.

Maging Abbysal demons
You're telling me it doesn't matter to me weather I profit? I'm telling you it does matter, which is why I asked. That's like saying it doesn't matter how many charms I get bursting, if I get a lot it's just coincdence. I'm paying for maging and getting charms from lobbys. If I wanted mage exp I'd alch and If I wanted charms I'd kill waterfiends. I wouldn't have asked if It didn't matter, as it's a matter of personal preference. I would just like to at least break even or make some money, I can't afford to loose any more cash. Well the fact of the matter is, abyssals aren't a great place to train magic if you have the option on killing frost dragons. Where as with abyssal demons, having average luck, you will barely profit, frost dragons will always be more than 2m an hour no matter what armor/spells/etc you use(i think they are more than 2m an hour if you don't use any combat style at all- just stand there and let the cannon kill them). The time to kill abyssal demons was 5 years ago.

Guide to efficient Frost dragon slaying.
No, but firemaking is an easy enough skill to assume level 99. I'm using the value of 1 cannon per 1.6k shots right now, but this is with 99 firemaking. Obviously i have no intent on testing the explosion rates at lower levels(for obvious reasons), but if anyone has any information on it, i'd be happy if they shared it with me.

Kalphite Queen Head vs. KBD Head
KQ head is clearly harder to get, and much more rare. Some people have tons of KBD heads because of how easy he is now. She, however, is still ridiculously hard(harder than some gwd bosses). Btw, i have all of their heads(can't say both, can Ii).

Guide to efficient Frost dragon slaying.
This is exactly why i posted this calculation: Method Prayer Cost Hand Cannon (Hand Cannon Shot) 20% -497 Hand Cannon (Hand Cannon Shot) 15% -568 Dragon Darts 20% -631 Magic Shortbow (Rune Arrows) 20% -641 Toktz-xil-ul 20% -657 Rune Crossbow (Runite Bolts) 20% -675 Dragon Darts 15% -695 Rune Crossbow (Runite Bolts) 15% -711 Karils Crossbow 20% -724 Chaotic Crossbow (Runite Bolts) 20% -729 Rune Crossbow (Broad Bolts) 20% -740 Toktz-xil-ul 15% -756 Chaotic Crossbow (Runite Bolts) 15% -764 Rune Crossbow (Broad Bolts) 15% -785 Karils Crossbow 15% -785 Chaotic Crossbow (Broad Bolts) 20% -799 Rune Knife 20% -828 Chaotic Crossbow (Broad Bolts) 15% -841 Rune Knife 15% -901 Magic Shortbow (Zamorak Arrows) 20% -958 As said in the guide, void(deflector)>void(normal)>max range attack. The methods that i suggest go in this order: Hand cannon > rune crossbow(runite bolts) > Magic shortbow(rune arrows)

As you can or should understand, i can't go into any more detail on these forums.

Godswords- Outdated?
Bug abuse ehy... He's probably referring to the eat right before damage calculation thing. Not sure if that's bug abuse, though I'm not really sure about it, but it's been there for more than 2 years now- if you eat the right way, one claw spec always fails on you. Kings ransom has alot to do with the whip being better than the godsword.

Efficiency
Still, you aren't as smart as you are pretending to be- if you haven't played efficiently for the last ~6 years, you'd have no idea what the efficient methods were back in the day. Firstly, pretending that being oldschool = lots of partyhats is a tragic logic. It's a myth. The people that still believe it likely still believe in Santa Claus. Secondly, having been one of the first 99 smiths wasn't a major advantage because of how bluerose achieved it. If you don't know the story, then you should read up on it, but the fact is, if you weren't first, you made almost nothing. Zezima didn't kill 49k blue dragons in rsc, it was in rs2, and actually, back then, it was the thing to do. Lilyuffie trained alot of her prayer levels there(99 prayer, the last classic skill 99 to be achieved) because of how ridiculously expensive prayer was(there was only burying). Ecto has never been efficient. Mentioning these methods, you are actually talking about efficiency. How? if you like something enough and can stick to it for the whole time, it is likely the efficient method for you, as you have to take enjoyment into account. Villandra is one of the most efficient people playing this game, she just has interesting goals. I doubt anyone can actually say that they enjoy smithing cannonballs, rather it's a burden you bear, and realistically, it can only be efficient if you hate runescape(as it's one of the most afk things in the game). There are loads more enjoyable and faster ways of achieving 99 smithing, thus why cannonballs are never mentioned. Golvellius, i don't actually think people are stupid because they aren't or don't try to be efficient, but rather because they don't understand efficiency or make stupid arguments about it(ie. fun > efficiency LLLLLL!!11). I think you are stupid because you fear coming out of the closet(and admit that you actually think before training a skill, thus rendering you efficient).

Efficiency
So I assume you agree that it was wrong of you to assume efficiency simply based on someones stats? Because, well, that was the stupidest argument ever.
-
Efficiency
Bad example. Clearly shows that you are newschool. Zezima got 99s in those stats ALOT of time ago.

Efficiency
Who said it was impossible? I'm just saying it easy to state you follow it without backing it up. Its even more stupid to claim how efficient you are when your stats suggest no such thing. I do stick to what I know but I also recognise the usual BS when I smell it. It's efficient to not train the skills you absolutely don't like, so unless you know what skills player X likes and what not, you can't make an argument about it. Also, efficiency is defined as time saved, and i'm more than 99% sure you don't know how many in-game hours any of us has, so you actually have no idea how efficient any of us is with out stats, and even if you knew the play time, you'd have to adjust it to the fact that some of us had high levels back in rsc and what not. Your argument of telling who is efficient or not based on their stats is BS.

Efficiency
jrhairychest, you should really stop talking about elite level gameplay. 4m an hour is easily possible, and with more than 3 methods, even. Money by itself can't get you the highest level equipment, and even at that, 140 hours is anything but ''next to no time''. Stick to what you know, you are just trying to make yourself look stupid right now.

Elite clues from Bork + Skeletal Horror
With a 1/20 droprate from horror, you'd only be getting 2,5 elites a year. Assuming the droprate from bork is 3,5 times lower(1/70), it'd still be around 8 elite clues a year, one per 1,5 months.

Slayer points
162m is pocket change to people who can actually get that many points. Cashing the points in in runes is a quick fix, you'd make ALOT more money and xp by canceling tasks.
-
Clues
Depends on how you value your time. At the highest levels, none of them are worth doing(even elite) as you don't gain any xp from them.

Godswords- Outdated?
That hard of a counter? With any spec weapon, AGS included, you should never be using it on its own. With a spec weapon in tow, not only does your DPS suck, but EVERYONE knows a spec can come at any time with no warning, and safes accordingly. Well, actually, when edge pking in bh+1(which is a very common method of pking), your only choice of DPS weapon with AGS is D scim, and AGS beats it in DPS. With vengeance, safing doesn't matter at all(you can still get ko-d if you eat 80+). Also, i wasn't referring to the phoenix necklace- there is another, much easier method(likely bug abuse but w/e). huh? does whip protect over ags? Why would you risk a whip when you are dieing 10 times an hour? The whole point of bh+1 pking is risking one valuable item- unless you use protection prayers or divine, you can die very easily no matter what.

Unicorn?
The only things i would still use an unicorn are wyverns with CM, dark beasts without protection prayers or Mithril dragons, but even then, 2/3 it's just for convenience.

Good effigy droppers?
TD's = Frost Dragons > Black demons > Mithril dragons (assuming highest kill rates)
