2nd September 2009 - Shops, RuneTek5, Autocasting, Patches
So they update familiars to incentivize training summoning a bit more, and then they make it stupidly hard to train...I honestly just don't see the point of this update...the infinite stock shops/ge were a fine combo before they threw in the price caps+slowed buying...maybe at some point they will reconsider the old system...

2nd September 2009 - Shops, RuneTek5, Autocasting, Patches
So...are all spells universally autocastable now? barrage via ahrims, for example? and I'm hoping that they did not damage the oogglog stock too drastically...it's taking long enough to get those damn rabbits as it is :wall: Luckily for me, I just got a new computer on account of my old one imploding so I actually get to use all this new pretty stuff

What's the deal with accuracy?
Guthan's special will sometimes heal yuou while hitting 0. this is probably due to the strength roll. I assume that you mean to say sgs special...because if you hit a 0, and are healed 0...you get the point. That is, unless you are saying that the ghosts still appear, which I don't use guthans enough to have seen personally if it is possible. To test the idea of whether strength is considered before accuracy(which I personally doubt seriously, but don't claim to know) you could simply record every hit that is not a 0(which would cause a little innaccuracy from the 0 hits) and then see if they were randomly scattered between 1 and your max.

Would you pay money for a useless object?
Idiocy and lack of self esteem are the usual reasons. Renting a weapon that you can sue to potentially recoup the fee is completely sensible, though. Liek this one kid that I leased my ags to got a hilt off soloing at bandos...which was annoying...but obviously a could decision to rent on his part.

What's the deal with accuracy?
Based on the chickens vs. jad thing that jagex posted a while back I'm betting that the idea that you first get a chance to "hit" and then how high the hit is is determined, with 0 still being possible, is correct. To test this...you would need a setup which had an equal stremgth value(to avoid the differences in the number of 0 "hits"), and preferrably weapons with the same speed rating...but that should not actually change the experiment at all. You would also need a monster that is weak enough to kill repeatedly for a long time, but with decent enough defense to make you miss enough to create a notable difference... Suqahs could be a decent option...maybe abby demons...

Optimal set for Arma GWD
No it doesn't. Just seconding this. You might want to swap in a stole for the fury. I forgot to check your summoning level, but running out of prayer is usually the biggest issue there, enhanced excali for specs also makes a huge difference. If you're not brewing much, you won't be restoring much, and stoles will help you make it through those10 minutes.

Gravestone unreadable?
Very helpful at gws teams, if you dc at arma or sumthing your not screwed out of your items. That is, unless you DC and can't get back on before it collapses, such as could be caused by a power outage or excessive slowness.

Gravestone unreadable?
That seems a bit...pointless...but still better than the old way I guess.

FML moments
While back i managed to lose just under 100m within 3 days in a very interesting manner. First, I was loitering at the ge as usual, and after a while I decided to go see if I could kill a green dragon armourless in the wild. So i brought up the bank and hit the "bank equipment" thing. then made my way up to the drags with my empty equipment screen open the entire time. I proceeded to try(and barely fail, could've won with piety) to kill it. Then I poppedup in seers with 2 coins and a unicorn horn from the pony I had killed en route. next day, I opened up my bank to notice about 31m coins missing...and then I put 2 and 2 together... 2 days later, I teled to my house on a pvp world, unfortnately choice to leave via the main entrance instad of teleporting, and proceeded to be tb'd and then barraged repeatedly by jumpers camping outside. My health and prayer were pretty low, and I had my ags on my so I thought I might as well just die trying to kill them, so piety on and let auto retal make me spec the tber. For some reason I become skulled...and the second spec leaves him with like 12 hp :( and then I learned that at some point there was an update to stop you from dropping expensive things in pvp worlds...and a few smiting barrages later I'm out 67m from the sword and whatever my other random crap was worth... horse hockey

18th August 2009 - Menagerie, Familiar Controls and Butler
Do they still have the power to kill underwater spins? If so, I might swap back off ponies enxt time I mage down there...(which is never, probably). There seems to be a lot of hooblah about bugs, without much actual discussion of the bugs...anything serious enough to avoid the new stuff for a bit?

18th August 2009 - Menagerie, Familiar Controls and Butler
Bwahaha. Thank you for proving my theory that no matter what update they make, someone will [bleep] and moan about it. Hmm...wonder what the censor wills wap that with...Think I might un semi-retire after this update...maybe even finally get that damn rogue's den song... EDIT: aww that's boring, I expected something more vreative off tip.it

How did your Runescape name "come to be"?
Ah the power of neopets...this is the same account name that I had for my neopets account way back in yonder days, so it's wio=my initials+neo=neopets. Awesome, I know.

Divine & Elysian Spirit shields
I read that. They compared the cost of ppots with Divine to food with Elysian, didn't they? Well food can be stackable in the form of scrolls, and as far as I know prayer restoration cannot. Unless you count the 2 sgs specs per 5 minutes...but that's a bit of a stretch.

Whats with this? (afk'ing on spiders)
That is not true at all. I take great pleasure in randomly speccing every spider that I see(they're related to scorpions, and those [wagon] killed me), and these people prevent me from doping so. Watch the language ~ Bongo.

New massive advertisement on Runescape homepage.
This.

Poll: Tip.It Online Shop
BWAHAHAHAHAHA Hilarity with just a tinge of [wagon] holishness, classic. Since when have we had a shop :?:

"Luck" Money.
Did they make spirit seeds tradeable  Sweet! No more monkey nuts for me...
-
"Luck" Money.
Personally, I despise lucky people, because personally I have pretty crapful luck, and anyone who is better off than me is obviously evil and/or fat+sassy. Now excuse me, I need to go throw crumpets at a certail lucky [barrel]...

Hidden Faces
I see the OBVIOUS one there, of course. mind = blown Is that real  ? Suppose I should avoid any large holes by the cave...
-
What do you do? Borrowers who can't wield.
Agreed. Also, their loss will eventually become a gain by way of slightly decreasing their stupidity.

New GWD Boss Hint?
I support this theory. Second.

21st July 2009 - The Curse of Arrav (and Patch Notes)
They just released Mobilising armies, give them a break. A quest is a decent update. Yeah I mean they only took 7 months past their expected release date to finally release Mobilising Armies, with a couple critical flaws which cost some people hundreds of millions. Jagex is slacking, everyone knows it, please don't defend them. I am usually not one to be critical of their work, but they are barely doing anything lately. With the release of Mechscape under a year away (supposedly) I imagine they are allocating more resources to that game. They call this the update year, fixing small problems, but they are making more problems than they are solving. Enough with the [bleep] leprechauns and interfaces, we want real updates. I do think it's because Mechscape is (hopefully) less than a month away. But they're a small company with lots of projects here there and everywhere, they're going to slow up on their updates at some point. I don't feel that they have really been slacking either. Yeah... the whole "not complaining" bit was meant to pre empt that, sorry if I offended anyone, but honestly I just don't play much anymore and wanted to see if this had any shiny new interesting things to make me finish it sooner. Doesn't look like it, so I'll do this later. Cha cha now yall.

How nerdy is Runescape
It is nerdier than Denzel Washington.

21st July 2009 - The Curse of Arrav (and Patch Notes)
So was this just a history quest with no major updates? Not complaining, just gauging how long before I should care about it.

About that new slayer monster...
The poll for the name ran from June 3rd till June 17th. The winning name was Aquanite. Pfft that's a lame name....Screw democracy. Honestly don't expect anything to come out when you want it to. It's much easier to just not care at all, and if this thing came out with the new quest please ignore my post.
