  1. The thing about dying at tds is that 1, you don't lose much if you don't get back, and 2 the only way you won't get back is if you can't log back on.
  2. 96 Summoning makes tasks like dragons, wyverns and demons much faster(assuming no urns/crusher and you don't want to waste the drops). Besides that, summoning does not really have much affect on slayer since you already have the level for soulsplit. 1 more prayer level for turmoiling every task(it's about 8 ppots for most tasks in proselyte) is much much faster, though. EDIT: Just realized i did not really directly answer the question, so just slay and boost up summoning in chunks whenever you can unlock a new useful familiar, which for you would be...lvl 83 for mining and faster training, 85 for faster training, 88 for obvious reasons, 91 n 93 for effigies, 95 and 96 for bad ass familiars, and then finish. Granted some or all of those numbers may be wrong because my memory is generaly horrible.
  3. I haven't noticed any notable change in the time it took to get rocks up until now. For example, the fishing(monkfish), mining(conc gold), runecrafting(zmi), and previously woodcutting(ivy) rocks were always found within about 5 minutes(probably 10 for mining) of beginning the activity(and switching skills between the 2 rocks). I've noticed that many methods are notably slower for finding rocks such as rocktails for fishing, or normal altars for rc, and some other methods don't yield rocks regardless of how long you spend, such as battlestaves, wines, arrows, and I suspect combination runes. I always thought that ivy would be included in the latter category, and would not be surprised if that were changed. So it would be greatly reassuring if someone who has found a rock in ivy within the last 4 days would confirm that it is still possible to find them there.
  4. To anyone who found a woodcutting rock in the the last week or so, what were you doing when you found it? I have been building the statue for the last 8 weeks or so, and up until now I always found this rock relatively quickly while cutting ivy. However I have now spent more time than I did during the combined previous wc rock hunts chopping both ivy and teaks. This is making me think that either there was some change to the rate or possibly a change to the methods that yield rocks. Or, if anyone has found a rock in ivy recently, perhaps I am just having a very unfortunate bit of bad luck.
  5. He has what looks like a clong wielded, so I'm assuming the halberd is for specs, and it is a good cheaper alternative for claws.
  6. I tried with extreme mage and got 4.41 casts/wyrm, I tried without and got 4.45, so I don't think I will bother with boosting and just bring a cow. Thank you all for the advice.
  7. Assuming I have 99 magic and melee skills, extreme magics and overloads, no augury but turmoil, staff of light and rapier, the best reasonably buyable gear for magic and melee offense, would it be faster to kill ice strykewyrms with fire surge or melee?
  8. This, 700 more RC xp I won't have to do. Yup.
  9. This, If i wanted to take a break but was close to some good 'loyal' item i'd just let my members carry on for a measly £3.50 a month. This, I only really play for a few months out of the year, so now I can either waste money or miss out on whatever crap they are deciding to dole out.
  10. Noting extremes would require an engine restructure. They should figure it out, no matter the obstacles. Everyone wants it and it is incredibly inconvenient. You can decant noted pots!!!???? Why wasn't I told this...
  11. Thank you guys for the suggestion, and I will try out this program you mentioned. Not a big fan of just dropping a problem without solving it though, so any suggestions on the original question would be greatly appreciated. Well that is a nice distraction, I replicated the useful parts of mousekeys with a couple addons with this... <edit> NumpadDown:: MouseMove, 0, 40, 0, R Return NumpadPgDn:: MouseMove, 40, -210, 0, R Return NumpadRight:: Click right Return I still have no idea what could be causing the problem with mousekeys though. I tried about 50 or so random combinations with filter keys and other random options without being able to fix the problem. Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to get around the context menu being placed differently for items on the bottom row? I can only use this to drop the first 24, because the menu for the last row is moved up.
  12. I've been using mouse keys to drop fish and it has been working fine. However I think that I messed it up somehow recently. Now pressing the 2 key will jump the cursor down multiple times unless I tap+release very quickly. This was not happening before, and I'm not sure what caused it, but I think it has something to do with filter keys, because I accidentily pressed one of Window's numerous annoying keyboard shortcuts and messed up the keyboard temporarily somehow. After dealing with that issue, mouse keys started acting differently.
  13. Thanks for the advice in this topic, I had been doing C2 fishing on/off using mousekeys to drop and now it's not working, and I'm not sure what the problem is. I was following Wakka's guide, right click once and move over the "Drop" option, then 5,2,5,2... This was working perfectly, but now after the first item gets dropped, the context menu for the second item does not come up anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this? EDIT: Nevermind I fixed it. Apparently the * and - signs at the top of the num pad change the behaviour of the 5, and pressing * fixed the problem.
  14. Thanks for the advice which I largely followed(mostly solo), and now I'm just under level 71. I'm confused about a few things, though. Say I have...floor 30-34 done, and then go join a group of people doing floor 30. After finishing the dungeon, 35 will be checked off, correct? and it will be similar xp to having done the same floor without it having been checked off? Then if we do another floor(floor 31), after the end, nothing will get checked off because the theme is complete and I get 0 prestige xp, cutting the base xp in half, is that correct? Also do people usually do stretches of floors or one at a time?
  15. Making wolper tingers is the devil. They are very useful though.
  16. Everyone I know seems to have significantly higher dungeoneering than me(me being at 58), so friends are useless. It also seems like all of the organized team forming things(such as DGS) are also full of people with higher levels. So what is the ebst way to train dungeoneering at a low level? I've just been doing solo dungeons, but I'm told that this is slow xp, and I've also been told to avoid the Jagex worlds.
  17. I have 83 crafting. Is this a good referrence for fishing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwxM-lAcsG0 For wine... 16,506 wines will cost 10,052,154 gp in supplies, give 3,301,033 xp, and assuming wines are unsellable that is 3.05 gp/xp. That does not seem expensive at all especially for the "fastest" method. I'm assuming using urns here would actually be slower, right? Looks like getting the grapes could be a problem... Effigy hunting looks rediculously wasteful and boring so suppose I'll be back to the ZMI...and keep up with penguins. From what I understand, failing on the Advanced Gnome course does not lose you the lap bonus, is that right?
  18. Thank you guys for the answers, I never would have even thought about wines or dungeoneering. I suppose I'll look into that effigy business, and I'll definately learn more about the dung fishing. For agility, is there no failing at the gnome course?
  19. I have been away for a bit, so i'm not really that up to date on a few things. So what are the fastest ways to train... 80 - 90 cooking 80 - 90 fishing 76+ runecrafting 78+ agility For cooking money is not an issue, I have been doing swordfish but I remember hearing about lunar pie making... The last time I trained fishing was in Piscatoris. I despise runecrafting. Is the monkey course with the BA horn still good? Also, I saw a few things about urns, are those efficient to use?
  20. What he said, with turmoil and soul split on constantly you don't lose hp, and the last time I was there was several months ago. I'm assuming that you will take less damage using fiddlesticks or whatever now.
  21. I remember having played for a while when they put out the beta, but I don't remember exact times which is really sad. Really more interested in knowing when I started than actually playing anymore.
  22. Hm...depending on what lies under that cabbage the entire meaning of your post could flip. Anyways, who cares. [cabbage] happens, move on. If they (they meaning whoever you lot are babbling about, I have guesses, but don't care enough to check) want to leave, cool they're gone. I am sure that they are floating around watching all of this rucous and laughing, though.
  23. Doesn't battle.net include WoW as well as Starcraft and all of the other blizzard stuff?
