How about when you could go fishing and when your inventory filled up you conintued to fish and they just fell on the ground, there was easier power leveling then there is now.

Did you actually sell one or know anyone who sold for that price? They never reached 1bil. Yes there have been a ton of people "trying to sell with autowins 1bil", but that doesn't mean the price ever reached 1bil... They never came much above 800mil, if they even reached that. I remember hearing about it, then seeing it on the forums at that price on an auction.

They have to make it easier as the game progresses. If the game were as difficult to level as it was in classic, no one new would want to start because it would take forever to get to a point in the game to where you can begin to compete with everyone else in the game. Think about what it was like in classic when someone could make rune armor, that was huge. If a handfull of people could still only make it, the game would be not fun to play for all those starting out. Runescape by its nature had to get easier, they needed/wanted to attract new players, which results in new members, resulting in more money and more ability to add to the game.

Blues are selling for as low as 370m, thats an 80m drop, if you didnt spend all your time illigally selling mils on [Censored] you would be able to pay more attention to the market. Santas were 26m in december, now they are 20m, couseing me a net loss of about 120m. If you actually kept track of the prices, then you would be able to know what you are talking about. Prices of santa's during december were around 23-24mil. And I see enough offers for blue phats on the official forums to say that their price is not 370mil and probably more towards 385-390mil at the moment. Rares did loose some ground over the past 6 months though. Their prices have probably mainly been unstable due to updates in the game. Crackers never reached 1bil. And the peak for santa's was way over the top anyway. I remember seeing crackers at 1bil myself as well.

Farming is the best possible way to get herbs in the game, second to that would be Pest Control (must be in a PC team to be effective) when you get 10 points you get like 14 herbs, it's a shorter period of time compared to Chaos Druids which would come in third. But if you cant get in Affliction (90 combat) Chaos Druids and farming are your best choice.

Thats the whole point, they pay for it, so more people are going to go there instead of 99 who makes you pay for the essence.

you can buy a chefs delight from someone and use it, it brings it up 1 or 2, i would bring a few extra supplies for cooking the snake, get 4 of each thing.

Crafting: Currently Lvl60: Either buy hides, or go to shilo village and mine gems, keeps the good gems and make them into jewlery and high alch the jewlery. Farming: Currently Lvl46: Buy tree seeds and pay the farmers to watch them. Hunting: Currently Lvl13: Birds are probably the easiest way to get your hunter level up. Do coppers untill you can do tropicals and switch to those.

You can buy ranarrs and make p pots to either break even or make some money. I also think that getting 10 points at Pest Control and buying the herb packs might work, in the time it takes to get the 10 points with affliction, you wouldnt get nearly anything that good at the chaos druids.

If you are going for 99 WC then i would do willows, they are faster xp. But in my oppinion i would bank all then burn all.

laws would be faster, but nats are much easier to sell, the difference in xp is very small, so i would stick with nats if you are gonig to sell them.

buy iron ore and rings of forging, or make them, and then make iron knives, they are the only items you can sell for more than the iron ore is worth. If you sell them to break even with your supplies you will sell them a lot quicker.
