Cave Horrors
You are very limited from the game if you are unable to access Mos Les Harmless. There are less than 5 quests in the entire game that I absolutely hated doing and I felt were either annoying, long, or hard. This is certainly not one of those. If memory serves, it can be done in under an hour.

Onyx ring (I) or Berserker ring (I) at Steel dragons?
You are looking for precise values which none of us can give. We are giving you approximations. I read through the entire thread, and the advice that has been offered is excellent. If you refuse the advice, don't argue and do whatever you want. The point is, use an onyx (i) ring if you have [cabbage] accuracy, use berserker (i) if you have ballin accuracy. DONE.

Dragon scimitar or Saradomin Sword?
Whip>SS>D Scimmy. The truth is, whip on controlled will give you the fastest overall experience. You will not be training one skill at once with a whip, but if you were, you would get more exp with a whip and defender than you would with a SS. Anything other than a whip (excluding chaotic weapons) are simply not efficient. If you are a pure, fine, use a SS, otherwise use a whip on controlled. If you refuse whipping, SS is far better than a D Scim. No questions asked.

Info on Different Skills
There aren't that many ways to train skills, let alone doing it efficiently. If you want to get lvls fast, do what I suggested.

Magic Training
Unless you have access to an iron titan and are not 99 summ, its honestly best to barrage rock lobbs. If you are against that, try superheating, stunning+alching, stringing jewelery, or plankmake. if none of those appeal to you at all, good luck.

quick question on skillcapes while in f2p
It is because of the rarity and personal opinion on the look. I have yet to see another untrimmed RC cape, so I will do all that I can to keep mine untrimmed forever. I like the look of the trimmed one too, but you only get an untrimmed cape once in your RS career, so I feel like preserving it. I also love the comments I get from people :D

Cheapest herb xp atm?
None. I would personally do either super str or super energies. they have a similar costs and are fairly easy to sell back when finished. Super defs cost more (xp-wise), and will take a long time to sell.

Cheapest herb xp atm?
I would make super str, super def, or super energies if I were you. They are relatively cheap and fast. I would advise against cleaning herbs. The market no longer supports it as it used to, and is slow and painful to do.

Construction Training.
[hide] It's (roughly speaking) 2x the xp for 3x the cost. Sure, gp/xp wise, that's not worth it. But if you break it down, it's a viable option. Efficiency-wise, if you make 2m+ per hour (1m+ per hour with SC hammers), then mahogany carved tables are better. Agreed. Its actually 1.75x the exp for thrice the cost, but your point is still valid. If you are able to make that amount of money per hour, opportunity cost says mahogany is better. I personally cannot achieve such profit, so oaks are for me. I really dont know how people can make so much an hour. Even at 99 rc, I max out at about 800k an hour... It's not consistent, but many high-level monster hunting methods can achieve averages of over 2m/hr. [/hide]Ahh ok. Ill give that a try when I max out.

mage or herb?
Starting at 81, you should make sara brews until you hit 84. Make just under 7200 recover specs to get 88. Once you get 88, 2.2k will be the magic number. Make 2.2k extreme attacks which will get you 89, then 2.2k extreme str for 90. Make 2.2k extreme defs for 91. Make 2.2k extreme mage pots for 92, then 2.2k extreme range for 100k short of 93. If you fall short, you can make recover specs to make up the difference, or make you could (*highly suggest*) make a bunch of extreme atk/str/def pots for regular combat, as all of the 2.2k pots you made will be used up in overloads. Once you finish that, buy 2.2k torstols. You will need to stew to be able to make them. If you know how to logout to keep the stew boost, then just do that all the way to 95, and about 300k exp short of 96. I found that I couldnt stew ovls for very long. I did about 400 a day to keep myself sane. If you made 500 extreme sets (atk, str, def), you will be 96. When is all said and done, it will cost you about 200m.

mage or herb?
If I were you, I would get 94 mage for barrage, then work on herb. High herblore is indispensable. Your budget, however, will likely not get you to 91. Ill put it this way, i spent about 200m getting from 84-96. I did it an expensive but intelligent way. I made all the pots i will ever need, which leaves me with cheap training for any future lvls. This removed the risk of getting my herblore too high, then needing to spend extra money on untradeable pots, causing huge waste in cash. But thats not what you asked. Back OT now: get 94 mage and spend as much as you can without putting your playing style in a cramp on herblore. EDIT: If you have 440m, get herblore up no question. Might I suggest 96 herb and 95 prayer? Prayer is my next goal for a huge money sink.

Its definitely not too late to start again. You may have just lost a day or two worth of work. Better to find out now rather than later.

Herb Farming and MTK for cash
Definitely not true. Herbs are most profitable, so stick 10 workers on that. Maples are only profitable if you get lucky with seeds. If you get hosed, its one of, if not the worst. If you want to take chances, maples would be good, but for consistent cash, fish are better. In summary: 10 workers on herbs, 5 workers on raw fish. As for herb farming, I would suggest avantoe. The seeds are cheap, give a good profit margin, and are easily sold. Wergs used to be good, but the prices have changed so that it isnt as profitable. this sign ">" means greater then, meaning that herbs are greater then maples are greater then coal etc. And herbs are better profit over time, nobody gives a [cabbage] if you get bad seeds once. currently herbs are 460% return, maples are 371%, coal is 328% and fish is 323%, making fish the worst option. Source Well, assuming those values are correct, then I am wrong. Last time I worked out the calculations, using an average profit for seeds over a series of runs (small sample, i know, but it was all i could do), i determined that herbs were best, followed by fish. Apparently that is no longer true. Raw fish have taken a hit in their prices recently, so they're not as good as they used to be. raw swordfish graph raw tuna graph Good catch :) I knew I wasn't crazy haha. For the time being, it seems raw fish is not the way to go. When they return to normal, perhaps it will become the second best option once again.

Using any material above oak leads to spending a lot more money. Oak larders can give you in the realm of 200k exp/hour, which is already extremely fast. I dont see a point in spending 3x more for less than twice the exp. If you are extremely wealthy, you could do this though. I will be sticking with oak at a comfortable cost of 8.85gp/xp instead of 14.9gp/xp. My income isnt nearly high enough to warrant it.

quick question on skillcapes while in f2p
Congrats on 99 herblore! (i think thats it?) I am pleased to know you can keep capes untrimmed still. How did you set yourself up exactly? As in, how did you manage to die in f2p in a reasonable location? Yeah it was herblore, thanks. I just got my hp low in a P2P world, in this case I was on lunar island since I wanted the normal magic spellbook, so I got the suqahs to get me down to around 100 LPs. Before I also used those unidentified liquids to get right down to 10 LP or so, but I didn't have any on me. I took out my untrimmed capes, and then took out 3 other capes, and arranged it so that the first three items in my inventory were the trimmed capes, the ones after untrimmed (this is so that when you die, the untrimmed ones will drop, check on your kept on death interface). I teled to falador, hopped to a F2P world, got the guards to kill me, ran to the lumbridge basement entrance, hopped back to a P2P world, withdrew 10 law/air/water runes (I just wanted to get a sufficient amount quickly), withdrew an unfinished potion and the secondary ingredient. Then I teled to falador, made the potion, got the level, hopped back to F2P world, and telegrabbed the cape. I had a 6 minute grave, and had right around 2 minutes left (I took some pictures for myself). As far as I know there isn't much in lumbridge that could kill you easily, which is why I use falador. Ahhh, good thinking :) I will do it just like that when the time comes :)

With grey chins. Ive heard they give almost as much as red chins for half the cost.

Mage training
Well said. I see no better alternative to bursting/barraging rock lobbs. They give invaluable exp and charms. Alternatively, you could superheat iron ore/gold ore (gold is more expensive but better smithing exp *use gold gaunts*), string ammies, plank make (click intensive), alch (boring and slow), or stun and alch at the same time (fast and relatively cheap exp, but click intensive). There are tons of options, but bursting is probably the best.

F2P Dragon Slayer with 40 range:
Ive heard of crazier things being done! I bet you could do it. Good luck :)

is this a good start
I dont know much about pking, but by hybrid, do you mean range 2h? if so, you want def to be low (1). You want 40 atk for rune weapons, the highest range and strength lvls possible, and whatever resulting hp lvl you get. Some will say prayer will wreck your pker, other will say the opposite. Just for [cabbage]s, i ran through a potential resultant for a maxed range 2her. Atk: 40 Str: 99 Def: 1 Range: 99 Const: 90 Combat: 70 If you want 13 prayer for 10% str, youll be 72 combat. If you want 25 prayer for protect item, expect 73 combat. If you want 31 for 15% str, expect 74 combat. Based on these results, you should either not get prayer, or go all the way imo. i dont think 10% str is worth 2 combat lvls when you could get 15% and protect item for 4. But then again, i dont really know much about pking. Hopefully this helped. If i completely missed what you asked, sorry xD
