  1. A reformed scammer? Sorry Aussie but I wouldn't give you $0.02, plenty of other people have gone through the game without ever scamming.
  2. Was it though? I'm not convinced... Sure you got a good deal on the Santas buying for the price that you did. BUT other people were selling them for 12.5M and Santa's do regularly go for that price and occasionally more. so ok you made 500k, but you could have made an extra 1.2M if you'd have sold at market price of 12.5M. Further to this in your list of items that you sold the same is true: Full Rune sold for 180k - could have been sold for 200k (20k lost) Rune Scimmy sold for 20k - could have been sold for 25k (5k lost) 30K Airs sold for 450k (15ea) - could have been sold for 600k (150k lost) 100 Laws sold for 25k (250 ea) - could have been sold for 30k (5k lost) that's another 180k right there..... So total could have made an extra 1.4M.... Now I know that some might argue that it would have taken more time to sell at the top end of the price range - But surely that's what merchanters do???
  3. A bit off topic really, but in 20+ wildy ancients does own, in <20 wildy I'd much rather get attacked with ancients than normal mage. RC'ing through the abyss I have time to insult and laugh at pker prior to one-click tele'ing to safety. Back on topic, sounds like a harsh way to learn not to shout WHIP! lol
  4. Additionally if you need to spend more time down there you could always take one or two 3 dose prayer pots with you. Depending on your prayer level by the time you run out of prayer, and so long as you've stayed in the same spot all monsters have stopped being aggressive so you can pick off the leeches at leisure. Also, make sure you have already got the small pouch from the dark mage. Medium and Large pouches seem to drop much quicker if you've already got the small one. Plus you're obviously saving the hassle of having to get 3 pouches dropped.
  5. North East of Relleka [sp?] Walk North from Seers the East round Relleka and you'll find them on the coast there along with a load of seaweed.
  6. It's a fire cape  Reasonably accurate assessment of the popularity of the mini-games, although you might find it surprising the number of people who do play games in the Burthorpe Games room - I guess it's kind of like a break from the Runescape Reality, which people are using as a break from Real Life Reality :?: Or maybe they just like playing games whilst wearing dragon items :?
  7. Now the fact that I am just a runescape player and not a company worth millions I think I can afford to make a few mistakes. I don't capitalise for a reason, it's saving me time and some of the updates would benefit with a little going over. Actually i was only pointing out some mistakes and never meant to come across as perfect myself. Edit - As for knowledge, i just plain thought that knowlage was the spelling...which isn't like me, thanks for that I know how to spell it now. too or to? When typing on a laptop keyboard I often hit the wrong key or worse, dont hit the key at all. Sorry if i came across as un-intelligent. I take your point regarding being a player rather than a company worth millions, however it's unlikely that each individual developer/tester/QA team member is themselves worth anywhere near that amount and ultimately any errors will come down to the validations implemented. Whether these validations are automatic or manual there will always be a degree of fallibility (think how frequently MS Word gets grammar checks wrong - and there's a company worth billions.) I didn't think your post came across as un-intelligent, nor was I trying to insinuate that, that was the case. I was merely highlighting how easy it is to make simple typos, particularly when working at speed. Given that there are weekly updates to Runescape most weeks I would imagine that a lot of work there is done at a frantic pace! By the way, regarding the capitalisation of "JAGeX" is it not "jAGeX"? Back on topic, as it happens it would appear that the error in this case was not that of jAGeX anyway, but rather the original poster mis-reading the terms of running his Kingdom  Still, it triggered some interesting comments....
  8. I'm not picking on you specifically rm2k_champ, but I've highlighted the mistakes you made in a 5 line post. Jagex manage thousands of lines of code that their customer-base expects to be online 24/7.. On the whole I think they make a pretty good job of it.
  9. I've not tried it, but I guess you could use the ASCII key-code, it works on forums: e.g. for "̮̩̉̉" hold down ALT key and type 130. If it does work you'll be able to find a list of all characters either using Word or google it if you have problems (Word gives ASCII decimal value which is slightly different)
  10. *If* this has a place anywhere it's in Rants. There's an official topic to discuss this anyway and on top of all that you are way off the mark. Sensible advice which is given by Tip.It and Jagex is not to use your RS password anywhere else, specifically fan sites. If you already don't use your RS password here then think for a while and ask yourself how a leak from Tip.It would result in your account being hacked?? EDIT: Just re-read your post and you state that you do use the same password here and for RS. In which case this is ... wait for it... YOUR FAULT. Expect this to be locked within about 3 minutes.....
  11. Fire Giants drop nat tallys quite regularly.
  12. there must be something for fletching as someone on here (jessy I think) has an avatar of 100/99 for fletching! Don't know what it is mind you but there ya go
  13. I would suggest whatever your slayer trainer gives you - 2 lots of xp for killing things. I would also suggest posting in help and advice next time!
  14. wonder what he was thinking as you wandered off, the world's most polite and respectful pkers!
  15. Maybe he just got fed up of bad grammar?
  16. Isn't the far north of the wildy lvl 55? doesn't change the fact that he couldn't hit you but might make the difference if you're ever challenged by a lvl 46 in the future  unless of course you're scared
  17. I think bothersome is about all rc pkers are. There's plenty of ways to avoid them, fighting skellys on the way, carrying 1 click tele and if TB'd before you get a chance to tele simply run. Changing your route to the mage regularly to keep them guessing etc. If it does look like you're going to die, drop your pouches. If you panic and forget or just aren't quick enough, regaining pouches really shouldn't take an hour or so though :?: getting small pouch back from the dark mage not only saves having to get an extra pouch dropped, but also seems to speed up the drop rates of the other pouches. If I'm repeatedly attacked by the same pker or I get killed by one, I get armed and go hunt remorselessly, to me all normal rules are out at that point though. If I feel like it I'll one item, tele away, pray if necessary and just keep coming back until they get bored. I'm not looking for a free lunch as an earlier poster suggested, I have no expectation of making a kill as I can't TB myself (only 80 mage  ) and 99.9% of RC pkers will tele away when in danger. I'm simply doing to them what they do to me - being annoying  In some ways it does at least break the monotony of crafting 1,000s of runes.
  18. I'll bet you're one of the first to scream "use the search button" as well.... New forum rules state that if you're adding a valuable contribution to an old post it is perfectly ok to bump old topics. Would you really rather see a brand new topic with details of best technique to make a tuna potato? Good post nephite.
  19. Not sure how you might do it as it could look a bit crazy as you say, but if you can find a way of putting names in the pic it'll be easier to follow. It's alright at the moment, but when you have tons might get a bit hard working out who's who! Maybe assign a number under each char then have a numbered list at the bottom? Not sure, art never was my strong point! Either way can I *pretty please* have "Mordendravid" as opposed to "Mordredravid"? Go on you know you want to
  20. Sounds like a good idea, and since you're doing most of the work Valor, I'm in 8-) Would player pics cropped to rectangles not be easier to tessalate (and create!) though? Just a thought. EDIT: Or is that what you meant? First read I thought you meant cut round your char as you've done in your siggy. Read it again and not sure. Urgh, it's Monday...
  21. When and where did they say that?
  22. Heh heh, well, I wasn't gonna... But since I should be ashamed anyway....
  23. Count me in. 104 cb, 90 str
  24. Where can I find these strawberry trees of which you speak? I'm still growing the plants like a noob
