best is to train combat, but goldsmithing isn't too bad. any skill that involves 14 items per invent instead of 28 (eg crafting) takes too much attention mining at LRC is ok too
-
my advice is that if you are going to do lobs you might as well barrage. wf's is generally more economical than bursting you should definitely do lobs though seeing as you are low magic
-
If you want we can make 10-20 duels. I will use saradomin brews to lower my attack and magic to 1. You will wear at least black dragonhide ... Surely if the sword can miss the chance will be higher with this setup. As for the damage I can use Super/Extreme str pots to return my str to its original level. you could also just go to safe pvp ffa on w68

Your insane, the only armor with damage reduction is dung shields, elysians, and divines. The rest only reduce the chance of hit, unless jagex made an exception for korasis sword and only korasis (which is very unlikely). In other words, unless you have actual evidence that mage defence has a damage reduction that exclusively applies to korasi sword specs, get your head out of your ass. Go test it yourself before you say things like that He is actually right, few tests and personal experience are not enough to prove something. As for now there are no indications that the magic def reduces the damage. Surely not proven, but highly certain

oh lol. well then the main point of comparison is whether or not you have the extra ess and time to make fire runes (or pick them up), and if that extra 20% damage is worth it. i think cat staff is better because without fires, you're only ~10% weaker but with fires youre 20% stronger. the 10% doesnt make a huge difference on targets w low mage defense, but with catstaff you always have the option to go for more power.
-
i mean there's no doubt that it's OP, but jagex is too silly to do anything about it. thankfully it still has mage pray weakness
-
yeah it does... but why bind a empowered fire when its so easy to make one lol. just wait til you find good logs and make it and i don't think magic attack bonus makes a big difference. 80%-90% of your damage should come from melee; the only time you need mage is against specific opponents which are already mage weak and sometimes bosses. i don't think thats enough to warrant not having a plate bind
-
with cele cat staff, magic is comparable to primal 2h (without turmoil) in overall damage cele cat staff also gives you a ~+20 magic defense bonus but overall i think it's a terrible bind. plate is better.

Ive always wondered why jagex never introduced anything involving capes it'd be nice to be able to wear a 99 dg cape there, the prayer bonus would be so nice.

Irritating, but why is that a problem? The "problem" that I think most people are referring to is that there's a lot of serial flaming. Which is mostly just between small groups of people who are angry at each other. Whether or not the general public doesn't like a small group of people is inconsequential. It should be a nonissue. I can understand why the serial flaming may be seen as a problem but I don't really think there's anything the mods can do without banning people. Which is silly.

Its a game. If you disrespect me in a game, call me a bot, call me all kinds of names because I didn't do EXACTLY what you wanted, then I am going to F with you. Let there be no doubt, that I can be the biggest ass in runescape. Its a matter of personal pride of course. Nothing you elistists can't understand... What differentiates you from us then? Most of the people you call "efficiency clowns" really don't care THAT much for efficiency. Moreover, what you have against us isn't the fact that we're "efficient" - if that's your actual annoyance, then that's pretty unfounded and unreasonable. If you think "efficiency" is a sin, I seriously wonder what you do in real life because almost all business is based off of efficency. What you have against us is that 1) we flame you and 2) we can act arrogant You do the same to us It's really pretty silly.

It is 100% accurate and the chance of it hitting high hits is reduced by magic defense. Feel free to disagree with me but you'd most likely be wrong
-
Pray mage. most hits will only be about 300 if you pray. Also wear armor with high mage defense. it doesn't reduce its accuracy but it makes KS hit lower
-
sagg arrows apparently make a huge difference, like 10% or something
-
Then you just want to kill frost dragons. I really don't find DK's worth it without cannon, furthermore as you wouldn't have FSH(just because it's then a wash with frosts, which are easier and give effigies/charms). SemiAFK frost profit is way too low. I still average 3M+ an hour with my method without cannon
-
the whole point of the setup was to have access to rigour so that prime killrate would be comparable to supreme. My current method (not the one mentioned in this post) is extremely long lasting, requires low attention, and has a moderate killrate. I like it and am willing to give up kills per hour for convenience and durability.
-
that buyout is pretty predictable, but after one crash like that there's bound to be another because people have lost their confidence in ely's. the buyout would have worked if the crash were a fluke (like the crash after dg shields were released), but this one's not a fluke.

Why the Combat Triangle Is More Balanced Than You Think

if you're hybriding, which you should be, then just switch to mage; tanked range loses to magic -

If the ranger has void+deflector and rigour I have a hard time imagining this. The main weakness of range nowadays is that to be maxed (i.e. rigour), you give up soul split. Void isn't good for PVP unless your definition of range PVP is hit and run with a dbow spec. You'd be better off in dhides for real encounter, especially if your going to use rigor. Nah, void+deflector gives max dps for range. I'm also pretty sure void+deflector rangers can beat dhide rangers... and void+deflector rangers are definitely better against mages than dhide rangers -
Great idea, do not see it happening though. Take a page out of all the popular dg clans books and improve upon their formula's of success. As you know becoming massively popular didn't help their cases so keeping your clan underground essentially would be a great point to start. But as you said, running such things takes a lot of time out of your day which few people want to deal with. the only maintenance a subforum would require is moderation... no promotion/convoluted ranking and recruitment system is required. there's much to gain because: -- keeping it on tif would be better vs an entirely new forum b/c tif's userbase is already intelligent, knowledgeable, and generally reliable. -- accountability for running dgs well -- perm team making would be easier i'm sure we could find volunteers willing to moderate it.

not efficiency per se, but the whole antagonism against "efficient" people. whatever, you should know what i mean. if you want to flame us, do it in one of the relevant threads, i'll be happy to respond there.
