Just calced the average price of a barrows item - 1.7M What's the fastest possible time barrows can be done, given maxed combat abilities nowadays (all chaotics, etc.)? What's the probability of getting an item with 6KC?

I don't quiet understand the question... The DFS is ALWAYS better defensive wise...because it has...well...better defense. There's no way around that. The main advantage BSS has is it doesn't have negative range or mage attack. This; and even so, it's still pretty terrible because in situations where you range or mage you need both ranged and mage defense, both of which DFS have a decent amount of. Arguably it's a bit better for maging, but that's hard to say. by the way, 20 defense bonus is pretty huge.

Why would your cannon be in your inventory? :shock: Also, it's actually less risk because you don't need to bring bow/ammo/range armor. I'd agree, though, that it's more clicking and more risky(in terms of chance of death). Because cannon needs to be picked up when it's about to degrade My experience with cannon has been tainted with a lot of close deaths, mainly because when i'm picking up a cannon i very often run out of inventory space to get food from my familiar. but this is really just a reflection of poor inventory and cannon management on my part. I also still bring a crossbow when I use cannon, because I do sometimes find myself in situations where prime is still alive after supreme (mostly because i didn't get prime aggro'ed on me when it spawned)

try using a dwarf cannon, it'll help way more than ccbow ever could. i've used cannon many times before, i don't like cannoning because of clicking, extra risk (2 chaotics if your cannon is in inventory), extra damage, extra cost per trip old pic of me using cannon

Ely is going for cash+junk on rsof I expect it to stabilize below 500M... it's WAY overpriced for its capabilities

comparison to negative mage defense is unnecessary, since as magic defense decreases the damage would just approach the expected 50-150 pattern (in other words, your max hit on average) Yeah, because everyone is falling over themselves to risk hybrid gear and fight hybrids when the drops have nothing to do with what your opponent loses anyway. More effective for everyone if you turn it into a full rune, whip and DDS luckfest. Note: I hate dangerous PvP, but the way players do it makes a lot of sense given the current system. mage gear is only an extra like.. 300K
