  1. The truth. Not to mention, you can kill Mages faster than Abyssals. Eh, maybe, but 83 is the new 85 And 99 is the new 85. So he should either go all the way or at least get some free whips too 83 and 99 can't both be the "new 85". :-s Congratulations!
  2. Congratulations on your Runecrafting and Construction levels. I your signature.
  3. 1700 total with no 99's! :o Congratulations on 90 crafting.
  4. Sorry to hear that you got keylogged :( . At least you still have the account.
  5. I like playing Barrows. I use slayer dart and it works well for me. I haven't got barrows items in a long time, but I still make profit off of runes. I am interested in making more profit, though, by Veracing Barrows. My stats: 80 attack 80 strength 80 defence 70 prayer 81 hitpoints 70 range 76 magic I would still range Ahrim. Right now I bring 17 monkfish per run, and I use usually about 9-12 of them.
  6. Granite Mauls are bad for training. Use a rune scimitar.
  7. Delete the url name, someone might go to it. This post looks phishy to me, if you didn't want anyone to go to the website why include the url?
  8. As soon as you kill Elvarg, the quest is complete and you will receive defence XP. So, the only way not to get the XP is to not kill Elvarg and not complete the quest.
  9. FYI, more people have 99 strength than 99 cooking, his other 99 skill. Congratulations on 99 strength, that is a stupendous achievement!
  10. Guthan's and a whip is great, but if you're looking for something in the 1-2 mil range, Torag's armor is good for the price. For a weapon, get a whip if you have more money, or if you don't, a dragon scimitar is only about 100k and not much worse.
  11. It's so laggy in the GE, I think that you would actually get slowed down. Someone tell me if this is only true in World 99, but I seem to lag out where I have the X-log every time I visit the GE.
  12. I remember that thread. We'll never forget. ::eagle crying in front of stars and stripes emoticon:: I would wake up, play some video games with my friends, play badminton (and only win), and then eat a steak wrapped in bacon (off a plate) for dinner.
  13. That's me too.
  14. Somewhere in the KB it said about once a day.
  15. (l) means the set contains platelegs. (s) means the set contains a plateskirt.
  16. I'm getting half of a computer too, except the other half I'm getting for my birthday, which was the 3rd of November. Of course, I am also hoping to get Crysis too!
  17. I wanted to grow watermelons to make super compost for my herbs, but then I realized that I would need curry leaves to pay the farmers. So I decided to grow curry trees too. I have a couple of questions: 1. How many bananas are in a basket? 2. Do you only need to pay a farmer once to look after a tree? 3. How many curry leaves do you get each time you pick it? 4. After you get curry leaves do you have to plant another tree? EDIT: I'm adding a new question: 5. How the heck do you plant curry trees? I have a watered seed in a pot and a patch treated with super compost. Now what? Nevermind, all questions have been answered.
  18. I like killing the dogs in McGrubor's Woods. Slip through the broken railing in the back. There are two spawns that are pretty close to each other. In a moderately populated world, they respawn fast enough that you never need to wait.
  19. I need 53 farming for the Back to my Roots quest. What's the best way to train farming from level 51 to level 53? Should I pay farmers to take care of my crops? I never have really farmed anything except for potatoes, the rest of my farming levels I gained through Tear of Guthix. Alternatively, is there a potion, beer, or spicy soup that I can drink to temporarily have 53 farming, and could I do that for the quest?
  20. Nothing else to say here, jayc really summed it up. :) Just wanting to add that many people used climbing boots even after armoured boots were released because climbing boots has a strength bonus and armoured boots did not. Armoured boots got an update, though, and now adamant and rune boots have +1 and +2 strength bonuses, respectively. Then dragon boots were released with a +4 strength bonus, and climbing boots are pretty much useless to people not doing the quest they come from, or pures who don't have enough defence to wear adamant, rune, or dragon boots.
  21. 1. I don't think that you can Burthorpe them. 2. Yes
  22. Are you F2P or P2P? It makes all the difference.
  23. RWT'er puts up 1m. GP Buyer puts up 1m. RWT'er loses on purpose, and the GP Buyer has just received his purchase. Of course, the RWT'er would be a level 3 so that the GP Buyer doesn't worry that the RWT'er will win the duel and make 1m.
  24. Nice guide! I have never though of killing Red Dragons, probably because I didn't know there were any not in the Wilderness. Too bad you can't get these as a slayer task, I would love to kill uncrowded Red Dragons instead of the crowded Blue Dragons.
  25. I'm pretty sure that you will have to pay him every 100 items that he returns/brings.
