Wrong. there's limits on just about everythin in the G.E in terms of the amount you can buy. For most raw materials, i think the limit is 20k every few hours. Certain ammunition like arrows and chinchompas have a slightly higher limit and finished products have a limit of 100 every 4 or so hours.

Wow yeah, same here. I've never seen so much whining over somethin so petty, i mean, it's not even 700k exp in a skill. I think it's about time they made a quest that you needed to work to be able to do. I remember training myself up for legends and that was probably more enjoyable than the quest itself. Personally i don't think i have any of the required quests to do this one :oops: think it's time for a mass questathon when i'm done with slayer.

Well personally, i've had an insane amount of genies these past few days. For the last 3 days i've been getting 5-6 a day when before i'd get 1-2. But then, i guess it's probably just luck on my part.

It's a fixed amount of 10k points, regardless of level, however i wouldn't use it. Even if you duradel for every task, it works out at about 4-500 extra exp per task. If you already have the ring, helm, and blacklisted tasks, i'd really suggest spending them on the slayer dart. It's basically 250 free deaths every 2 duradel tasks which, if sold, will cover all food costs/potions/barrows repairs.

Bunyips really are a godsend there, nothing else will afect your trip length more than they will. Their healing means you pretty much never have to eat, and should you need to the swallow whole scroll can be used on the raw lob/shark drops. I generally only take 1 shark for emergencies when i go and dont often use it.

Seems like the board won't let us scroll right if a picture's too big to fit on the screen, you could post a direct link to the image til it's fixed. The left side of it looks nice though :P

i saw this while looking at some v.3 themes and it's a cool feature. it'd be a godsend on the 'post all RS screenshots and vids here' thread, i'm far too lazy to follow links to vids and having em embedded on the page would make lief a lot easier :P

We were going to move to phpbb3 anyway. But why? It's gonna be really hard to get used to the skins and the way the forum is laid out. Quite frankly, it looks worse and it's harder to read the topic titles. Read the global.. it was broken. The whole board got hacked and wiped. Anyway, one good thing did come of it all.. a push to move onto phpBB3, which i love so far. Once everything is fixed up and looking pretty we'll be better than ever. Personally the only bad thing that happened was losing 5-600 postcount, i feel sorry for those with blogs and long-running threads that got destroyed though. just realised my av got resized somehow too. eww resizing and pixels dont mix ;/

oo beat me to it mumm, was about to have a hunt on the cache for the original. Forum downtime didn't stop me on the ball.. still laid down about 100-200% ink daily. Just realised my sig link is gone too, i'll redo it when the boards back to normal.

And what is high on the priority list? the behind the scenes stuff that isn't particularly noticable but stops everythin going to hell.. there's a lot more to keeping a forum going that making it look pretty. look at the 'forum bugs' thread in this forum to get an idea of some of the things that need doing. Theres also a lot of work to be done to get everything synching properly too.

Appearance is pretty low on the priority list for the admins.. it'll be sorted when all the technical stuff is working right again. Also, we're on phpBB3 now so the old skins wont work.. check out the style suggestion thread for suggestions on new skins.

The whole feel of the skin is very much like the old tif. p.s. i love phpBB3 so far. Once the bugs are worked out and it's looking pretty again tif will be better than ever.

Yeah you're right. I cancelled a 73 steels task yesterday. It works out way better in the long run when you make it to the 50 task bonus. Although steels are the first on the list to be blacklisted for me :P

Remember that all the messyness etc. is just temporary while they get everything fixed. They've done a great job getting the boards back up and running in such a short time. I managed to lose 500 posts.. guess i've been spamming a lot the past 3 months :P btw, did we upgrade to the new phpBB?

Wow nice spot :shock: of course it, only a concept.. so it doesn't really mean anything in terms of a real release, but that design is pretty sweet.

The pouch summons the creature, you can then use a scroll on it to cast the familiars special attack.

Pray range and make sure you have sound effects on. If he attacks with range, you dont have time to switch prayers between hearing the sound effect and being hit by the attack, so it's better to pray that.. if you hear the mage attack then you have just enough time to swicth the prayer.
