I quite like the idea. I think it could tie in with Jagex recent efforts to make smithing useful again (dfs, godswords, armour stands) Maybe if the encrusted weapons became untradable, a bit like soulbinding in WoW. That way if you want the extra power, you'll need to train up to be able to make it yourself.

It would be nice to know your own score without having to get it highscored, like tourney's do, also knowing how many points someone else has without having to memorise the entire highscores :S poor design imo.

This should go in the suggestions forums, but i really suggest thinking about your idea a bit more before you post it. edit: by thinking about your idea, i meant actually thinking about what they could do, how they would work in the game, how they're obtained etc etc. Just saying 'enchanting them so they do things' means nothing. Anyone could pick a random real life item and says 'it does stuff'. Say what it does, what will enchanting an onyx boomerang achieve? extra damage, more accuracy etc? what level spell will it require, if it need a spell at all?

Save it for summoning.

Last time i used lootshare we went to bandos with a 6 man team. Out of around 30 boss kills we got, i'd say around 80% of the drops went to one person. and a further 10% to a second person. Out of all the drops (bosses, and the 3 generals) i got 2 coin drops and a few bones. I don't really think lootshare is working properly atm, hopefully something they're working on.

apparently we can expect something 'in the first half of 2008' so don't hold your breath for anything in the near future. And yes, lootshare is the best we have atm, although in my experience it doesnt work at all for larger drops.

If you melee your slayer tasks then it's 100% worth it. If you range or mage the majority of them then i wouldnt bother.

I think ape atol monkeys are fastest if you're dharoking. I'm going for 99 str myself and can get 80k per hour dhing at the monkeys. thats compared to around 40k at bandits, and 35-40k average from slayer. I believe using a scim at ape atol will get you around 55-65k per hour.

He says he already has bronze and iron arrows. I'd train with the iron arrows and they'll give faster exp, also you have more of them so you can train longer, and they're not really that much mroe expensve.

A little while ago, a friend leant another friend all the supplies for 99 fletvh. 70-99 all in 1 go. The idea was she'd fletch them all then give him back the completed bows, but then this unbalanced trade thing was announced. Unfortunatly she didnt get time to finish them all so last night my irc room pitched in and we had a fletchathon. got the last 25k bows done between us.

Pillow shading is where there's no discernable light source.. you basically just shade every edge as if the lightsource was coming from your face. btw, just started playing Ms, its quite fun :P although i thought runescape was full of idiots...

I'd imagine it works a bit like cluescrolls, where you can get 2 dropped, but can only pick oneof them up.. but instead of picking up, you can't fill 2 pouches at once.

Atm i'm dharoking at ape atol. i'm 95 currently going for 99 too and with super pots and piety and can get 80k per hour. there's always slayer too if you want to make some profit while you train.

you should really get an accumulator, its a 30 minute quest. Your range will make it a bit harder.. but tbh, the caves are more about skill than levels. A higher range level only means that you'll have to pray switch for slightly less time.
