Really nice read. one of the only balanced and objective views on this update that i've seen. And i think you're right to.. RS won't die because of it, the masses of lower players will grow up, so to speak, with these game rules and learn how to play by them. higher levelled players with goals to work towards will adapt. Personally i'm leaving the game because of it. Not as an 'up your's' to Jagex, they won't notice the ack of my subscription money and i'm sure they'll find someone else to fill the spot.. i'm leaving because the thing's i most enjoyed in this game are gone. I don't have any major goals anymore, i'm done with grinding skills and i'm happy with my combat level. i only really played to pk for fun and boss kill with my friends. a few weeks ago i liked staking as well. One of the things i will miss the most is the PK video community, there was a lot of talent there.. both pking talent and vid editing. i cant see anyone making bounty hunter vids anytime soon. IMO the bounty hunter game is a sorry excuse for a pking replacement, it's dominated by teams in junk gear and is near impossible to play without becoming a rogue.. at the expense of protect item prayer! which is even more reason to pk in junk gear. i'm sure this will be tweaked in coming months though like most games. I havnt played the clan game yet but i'll try and organise something before my membership runs out.

I completely agree with all of that. Also the thrill of an escape is totally lost. Anyone that's never tried to escape a large clan from east drags while teleblocked: i urge you to watch the final scene of Finnald's 5th video: (5:21 in vid) it's stupidly easy to escape a team in bounty hunter, if you dont have any 'rogue pked' loot, just click on one of the many exits and you're out fully healed and restored.

Maybe if you read the post first? :roll: he's talking about splitting the profit from drops. E.G. KQing's now completely pointless... why would 2 people go on a trip to kill her when theres only the chance of one person being able to recieve the chain? you cant split the profits 50/50 anymore.

Yet another idiot who read the first post and hit post reply -.- That's why you should edit your first post to include all your newer fakes, like guthix said. no-one's gonna read through all six pages of replies to look for other pictures. not only that, but putting them all together can show off how well you've progressed.

As said before, that glow at the bottom doesn't really need to be there. i think you should lose the red in the bloodstains too.. there's a lot of green in the B/G behind the left one and it clashes badly. Aside from that, i think the background and the character look awesome. with a couple small changes it'll be a great sig.

I love the 3rd one as it is.. no need to add anything :thumbsup:

it's looking great so far, i think you've nailed the pose. only i couple of things that don't look quite right.. the skin tone on the hand looks a bit too pink, and i'd get rid of that black outline when you add a B/G. Also the head of the bass looks a bit small. Good luck for when you get to detailing the hair, that's gonna be a beast to get right :P

No.. DDP++'s don't have dragon in the name. The game call's it 'drag dagger (p++) dragon being shortened to drag so it can fit in. searching for dragon won't bring up a ddp++. similar to the way an adamant warhammer is called 'Addy warhammer'.

If this type of thread's allowed, what's to stop everyone making an 'offering advice' thread? The whole board will be people offering advice, and what do the people that want advice do.. post in every advice topic with the same question to get different views? the way this forum should work is that people post their question, and a variety of people give their input on that topic. That way, you can see the variety of different opinions on one thread, and people with a similar question can read that thread too, instead of reading through 'giving advice' topics to see if someone else asked a similar thing. these thing's have been locked in the past for this reason and i don't see why 3 hit gets special treatment.

1.chop yews for an hour and see how many you get. 2. chop mage's for an hour and see how many you get 3. Divide the total amount of logs you want by how many you got that hour, and that's how many hours it will take.

i'd say Monkey>ankou>yaks. ankou i put second assuming you have a salve (e), which gives a better bonus than black mask on a slayer task. Monkeys are fastest because you can keep piety on and wear the best attack bonus gear possible. with ankou you'd need some kind of defense plus slower exp while guthaning.

you get sent down for life, but your escape attempts aren't that successful..

the most annoying time for a teleport random atm is at the duel tourneys. it's happened a few times where there'll be 30 seconds left before it starts an i get a maze or bob the cat. there's never been randoms in the normal duel arena, so i don't see why there is in the tourney room.

do you mean what's the effect of smoking chinchompa traps using a torch? if that's what you meant, its slightly quicker to catch and you get less failed traps.. but in my experience it's too much extra effort for too little benefit.

in nearly 3000 runs i've died twice, so its fairly safe so long as you're careful. both my deaths were due to complacency.

i haven't wc'ed since long before the eggs were ni the game so i dont have any at all.. now might be the time to start training again :-k

because purepure pretty much answered your question.. there isn't ,as far as i know, a guide with monster weaknesses. as a general rule, monsters with no/cloth armour use slash, monsters that wear metal armour use crush.

Fairy rings revolutionised the way i slay, same with player owned houses.. hard to remember how i got around before portals, house tabs and mounted glories. Best English fan site: Tip.it

ooer.. wait til alexi finds out you've been stealing her kittens :ohnoes: as for the pic, as said before there's not that much creative about it, although for what it is it's been done fairly well. If you like that style of drawing i'd suggest looking into isometric drawings. I've just started learning how to make iso pixels and finding it a lot easier than just jumping into a blank canvas and trying to draw a pic. theres some good tuts on the pixel joint
