What kinds of things can I do with these stats
Sir_Squab replied to Da2Shae's topic in Help and Advice
Because a person with 69 attack as his highest combat stat is a high enough level to use Kuradel. Honestly, yeah, do slayer, the quests you can (you can check the quest reqs in game in the quest log thing or right before you start it.) I'd also say 70 att/range/mage to use black salamander at barrows. Keep smoking kills in mind as a quest goal. -
Skill capes came before the '07 updates so I don't see this changing. The GE also had an effect too. For instance, if I want to, I can hit the GE and buy 100 monkfish. Or sell 100 monkfish. If they don't sell/buy right away, I can do other stuff. Pre-GE, you'd have to hit a specific spot and probably world to trade, and you usually couldn't trade in quantities of less then 1k (from what I remember. I didn't have the connections to, that's for sure o.O) Pre-GE, skills like cooking/herblore (herblore pre extremes) were much more useful because it was easier to just make it yourself then find a seller. People buying super sets for say 10k at edge to pk with, well you could profit selling making and selling them super sets. Now, they'd hit the GE. Basically what I'm saying is, well, everyone knows how economics is based on supply and demand; the GE made in a way increased the supply by making trading easier, thus lowering the prices on some items. Plus, people will tell you that pre-GE, cooking and other skills were still more of a money loss.

Doubt it imo. Free trade shouldn't have actually effect the price on commonly traded items.... frankly, the main items it'll effect are stuff junk items, p hats, divines/elysians I think. Of course, the effect of the old wilde coming back might change things.... imo, cooking is the only one that might change from loss to gain. Smithing perhaps for a short while; but the interesting thing about replacing the current wilde with the old wilde, the LONG-term effects will probably be weapons/armour going down. You PK someone with a whip with the current system, it's entirely possible you'll gain pure cash and the whip will be removed from the game. Money into games, whip (or other weapons/armour) out of game. VS the old wilde, weapons/armour mostly stay in the game (the more expensive the weapons/armour, the more likely this is to happen) and a significant amount of raw cash will probably stop entering the game.

You know, except maybe right after the drop comes out, Jagex probably won't decide "Hey, my sausages were a little cold this morning, so I'm nerfing the droprate on this item." For the record, Jagex could also easily decide that divine and spirit shields cost way too much, and increase the drop rate so they aren't 500m. When in doubt, assume it hasn't been nerfed. Plus they'd probably mention it if they did change it.

Probably not o.O Just wear barrows if your worried.

Selfish benefit benefits all of society. Or in this case Jagex looking for more income benefits all of runescape. Capitalism 101 Hahaha.... I'll agree in this case, selfishness benefits people - Jagex brings back free trade/wilde, they get more members, we get free trade/wilde. I disagree with that theory though... but that's beside the point and shouldn't be discussed here >.< Frankly, I have a wait and see attitude towards it all. We have a lot of new weapons, much more powerful, as well as a lot of content in the wilderness. Jagex has said they will address this, relocate stuff, etc. Until I see how they implement it, I can't criticize or praise how they've done it. However, considering in like half an hour I can think of a solution to almost all of those issues, I think it would be unfair to say Jagex can't deal with them well. No, it isn't. Current punishment for botting includes your levels being reset; your items, particularly items you gain whilst botting might be reset/removed too, but I'm less sure of that. Perm-banning is still A punishment, but it won't necessarily happen. Doubt it. I think it's just that with the internet, it's a lot easier for less intelligent and literate people to write up and post stuff somewhere. Back say 20 years ago, to get a lot of people to read something you'd have to get it in the paper or publish a book, or be on TV. Now, you just need a blog. Besides, one thing I love thinking about: take a teenager. "Sup dude? How's it hanging?" (To a friend.) "Hey, how are you doing today?" (To, say, their grandparents.) "wanna chil l8er?" "ya. cming at 8" (texting.) "As you can see, the long-term implications of this action are..." (In a school essay.) People just CARE less about these kinds of things on the internet. Have you ever seen someone with poor grammar/punctuation/spelling excuse said grammar/punctuation/spelling with the excuse that "this isn't school"? I love people going "back in the day it was better, back in the day THIS didn't happen" It probably WASN'T better back in the day, and chances are THIS happened. Whatever THIS is. No offense, that last bit was just a general comment.

On black dragons. Right.

If there was only one? 100bil maybe? They'd all be around the same price because of the same supply. The non-wearables would be worth more then wearables, but that's about it.

I thought that bolts with gems had like +1 more range str then those without o.O I really hope they don't make this crap impossible to obtain. And, you know, deal with the fact that GW is crowded by 138s with chaotics and overloads. It'd be nice to give the rest of us a chance...

With 13 drops confirmed, the drops will be pretty common compared to other bosses. However, I think the challenge is Kills per hour. If you can't kill many per hour, the common drops make up for it and possibly make the drops equal to that of Bandos. There are plenty of maxed out characters who will crowd every single members world when this comes out. Don't expect anything to be 500M tbh. If they have that kind of money in GP, they'll be at the dungeon. I could see the bow going for a solid 100M for quite some time; and the armour, except to pay 250M+. This is the other reason I am really disappointed with the way Jagex has approached this. A new boss with only one spawn per world, without the requirement of a difficult quest to complete to access it like the Corp Beast. Thanks to the stupid [bleep]ing exp weekends, all the fierce competition of Bandos, Sara, and Corp Beast will flood to that single boss, making it a Sisyphean task to get any kills. Hell, I doubt anybody will really figure out how the boss works for a week or two after it comes out because with dozens of maxed players with OVL in each world speccing it as soon as it spawns, it will die within seconds. I really, REALLY hope its instanced. Wonder if there'll be a DG req? If it's instanced, Jagex can prevent it from being so flooded the boss gets raped, and also make it so people can actually kill it. Hopefully they've learned their lesson with bandos. Hardest boss in the game just because its so crowded with 138s with overloads and chaotics imo.

Well, I for one don't really know what you're getting at. I DO know that the people at tipit can't "fix" anything because of a mini-rant like this. And I still haven't decided if your truly an angry person who doesn't have a good grip on English because it's their 4rth language, or if your just a troll.

I love how, in all of these advice things, people are always told to flip and that the person asking the question always has some innate natural talent for flipping..... Least that's the way I see it....

 It's true. We've NEVER, EVER had a DOUBLE exp weekend. We did have a bonus exp weekend earlier in the fall however.... Well, first one was in the spring, second one was in the fall, guessing the third one will be in the spring again?
-
Yeah, I'd go with just quitting. Maybe before they nerfed the RC exp, it might've been worth it... but before they dd that, you could RC forever there because airs made a profit o_o

Actually, you can see the requirements for other god jadinkos if you already got one before. What I noticed, though, is that messages won't reappear (ie: You've gotten # requirements for X jadinko!) except those that indicate that you've found all requirements and that the god Jadinko has appeared. Also, the tree requirement is the same for each god jadinko every week. And, TBH, you really need to invest in 80 construction. Or at least pot to it. Or find someone to assist it (yes, it can be assisted). All in all, the god section needs some rewriting. Weeeeellllllll, that waaaaaaaaaaaaaas my first time catching them, sooooooo.......... As for construction, meh. Knew I could assist it, but I couldn't be bothered. Just wanted the mask. I have it now. Not hunting them again until I don't need to boost for it. Lost a bit more money then I wanted, but oh well.

Hahahahahahahaha. Seriously, I did laugh out loud :) Yeah, Jagex should release RS in buyable expansion packs, so you can pick and choose what items you want and don't want. Yeahhhhhhh...........

I see no reason why ZMI runners WOULDN'T happen tbh. You trade all your runes, noted ess, some cash to the runner, he gives you....26 ess, since you need one spot for cash and one spot for noted ess. For example, if I got someone level 40 to do this for me, he would get the runes that level 80 RC makes instead of 40, he doesn't pay for ess, AND he gets cash. That sounds incredibly lucrative tbh. The only real question imo is the exact payrates. All we need is a few rich people to hire some newbs to start this.

Yeah, skip the void. Mage with guthans, maging there in melee armour with slayer dart is a very common strategy. D hide for ahrim. I'd recommend something better then steel arrows >_> Actually, a decent way to take down ahrim is with karils crossbow. 400k atm, might be a bit expensive for you... but the advantage is, like with slayer dart, you get lots of bolt racks from the chest.

You know, I think the most likely reason for the free trade thing is that apparently it's now illegal in China to gold farm; specifically, gold farming on video games with the intent to profit is now illegal, apparently. If this is true, that's a highly likely reason for it; I think the real reason the trade limit went away wasn't so much bots and RWT directly; rather the credit card companies threatened to stop supporting RuneScape because of all the credit card fraut involved with RWT, as the RWT'ers wanted members accounts. Now that it's illegal in China, this will be much, much less of an issue. Well, that's what I think is the most probable theory. To above: yes, the old wilde and free trade are seperate things. I wonder what would happen if we could vote only for free trade instead of the old wilde. The old wilde can't come back with free trade. Otherwise, the wilderness will become a way RWT, get around GE, etc, and also contribute heavily to scamming because you don't know what the person will do after (s)he gets the item.

I wouldn't go with forever lol....for me, it'd be a bit hard to say considering that I wore the battle robes when luring them.
-
Something worth noting about the god jadinkos - once, you discover part of the requirements for one, you MUST finish find ALL the requirements for it and (maybe) hunt it before you track the next one. Because I've wasted over 800k changing to dark pits, going through the flower and construction hotspot trying to find the combination for all of them... I found sara first, tried the rest, found nothing, once I hunted the sara one I was able to find some of the requirements for the zamorak one. And since finding part of the requirements for the zamorak one, I've wasted like 800k building dark bits probably (meaning I've run through the habitat list like 10 times) without seeing anything for guthix. Your guide kinda implies you should do it that way, but doesn't reinforce it >_> Anyways, great guide! Sorry about a paragraph of complain and a sentence of complements >.> It really is great. Once I get this damned mask thing, never hunting god jadinkos again. Least not till 81 hunt and 80 construction lol. >_<
-
Um. I meant those....>.< And thanks for all the replies guys :D
-
Ok, another quick question, will I potentially need to use the juju farming potion in order to attract the god jadinkos?
-
Awesome. Gives me time to change up the trees and such. I believe you need to wait for the tree to grow to catch a specific jadinko, but vines don't matter...how about bushes?
