  1. Well getting towards the kq is much easier than getting towards a gwd boss.. So at kq you'll focus less on long trips and more on fast trips.. Doesn't matter. Solo kills per trip are still the best way to show how hard a boss is. Solo kills per trip counts the amount of average damage you recieve. It doesn't take into account the ko-potentional, nor the efford taken to get to a certain boss.. Or the time?
  2. You're noob, didn't you read it? :P
  3. Hi there, May I suggest creating quick-find code tags? A quickfind code tag would require a quickfind code from the rsof (with the number seperated by commas) and then convert it to an ur: [qfc]123-345-567-456789[/qfc] //or possibly: [qfc=123-345-567-456789]textual representation[/qfc] This would turn into a hyperlink to the right thread: http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?123,345,567,456789 ?123,345,567,456789]textual representation This would make a neat addition to the forums I think?

  5. What clan does this? Why are Jagex so forward with Pubs in RS, they are always mentioning them. They are pointless and if they replaced them all with nothing at all I still wouldnt care or miss them. actually pub strolling after pk trips or something was always amazingly relaxing. - It was just a place to talk relaxed :).
  6. You'd only use 1/3rd pot That's also why you should ALWAYS use farming potions when farming juju.. Even when farming "1" patch you get on average 2 more potions, yet you only use 1/3rd..
  7. It only takes a while to get started. Once you can get up one of the two herb seed only jadinkos you can easily get a big horde of seeds built up. Plus once you have the first pots you can use them when you harvest the herbs to make em which epically increases how many you can make. Plus spending your time just farming is in no way better. The combined herb, farm and hunter xp of making the pots is far greater than any extra farm xp you'd get by just farming instead; plus they hugely increase profits of herb runs. If you only got 7 pots from 4-5 hours you did it wrong. I mean an average farm patch gives out around 8 - 12 herbs if I'm not mistaken. That means from 1 seed you would get 7+ pots. Then using them pots to harvest the next seeds your looking at like 20 - 30 herbs from a patch when it helps and even if not u still gonna get another 8 - 12 to make more pots Uhm average yield (when not dieing) is 6.8. With a juju pot it becomes 10ish.. I only EVER had 20 herbs from a patch, and never more than that.. (And I got all my lvls by farming herblore).
  8. Fishing is really "terribly" for money.. I just used my calculator again (updated the prices): Per worker per day (when updating bi-daily) it gives: wc: 7743 herb: 9622 fish: 5414 flax: 5055 mine: 8262 So atm herblore is the best option indeed. - However a week ago herblore was at "7.5k" per worker per day.. Herblore seems to depend a lot on the economy of the moment. WC depends on the bird nest prices mostly, though the price of high level seeds do influence it quite a bit. The calculation for my mining sheet MIGHT be slightly wrong, though it shouldn't matter more than 5% of the final price.. So today I can conclude the best would be 10 herb, 5 mining.
  9. My theory is that they can only track time and click coordinates, not mouse movement. they do only track the click coordinates & time yes. Though they can track the mouse position at any point if they would like. (Though why would they? - it's a huge waste of bandwidth to do that). They can however NOT track wether a movement was "relative" or "absolute".
  10. So why is this "wicked" guy not banned? because jagex is clueless Because they can't see the difference between an "relative" and "absolute" movement.. They only see the mouse position at a certain position in time. - But with mouse keys you "jump" the mouse at a given keypress, and you can set the jump values in the registry if necessary.. - So if they allow mousekeys they have to allow the mouse jumping from any point to any point.. And then they won't know wether the jump was "relative" or not.
  11. Mouse keys use absolute movement if you look into the workings!
  12. With the given seed distribution of tip.it (and my experiences) wc is still the best thing to do! Closely followed by herblore & mining (which are equal). (9.8 vs 9.3k per person)
  13. Wow how much of " ass lickers" (not sure what the correct english term is) are here. - Somebody has done something a lot.. And suddenly he's all godly and he's always right. - And no one can even object him anymore. Really even IF he was right I won't ever listen to him, even if his truth would change the world and cure aids. If rightnesses has to be gained by cussing & letting emotion fly high, than I rather be wrong. @grimy bunyip: Should I? - I'm not trying to advice anyone here, I'm voicing my opinion. Besides I'm not getting "fussed up" . @crossed_boy: did I ever say he lied? - I said he has no right to speak when he's so emotionally getting worked up. As if he is, he would never even believe it if somebody would question his methods. Besides, why going into a personal attack now? - Is that the best argument you can make? @Dragonlordjl: cursing is normal human behaviour... However getting emotionally worked up immediatelly means you lost the argument, and you'll loose credibility. @green9090: you're paranormal gifted? - I haven't even been to nex once. - The current boss hunting isn't fit my style. (I prefer to do things where you can be "role", so I'll keep to the boss hunting of dungeoneering)
  14. This. So what, somebody who can't speak from a neutral standpoint has never any right of speaking.. He can't see the two sides of a coin, and always thinks he's best, with zealous ambition.. Really maybe you "believe" in him (like you believe in a religion) - but that doesn't give him any right to speak (just like religion is in no position to speak).
  15. Wow does anyone listen to him? - After reading the first sentence he lost all credibility to me.
  16. Unless jagex explicitelly allows for sharing clan website links & irc channels, runescape will never be worth anything clan wise.. Really the medium of the official forums & cc is so terribly limited (for one you have to be playing runescape, while a good clan always spans multiple games) that it's just a joke. EDIT: besides, 2008 was already the year of the clan updates? - As was 2009..
  17. If going karils I would really recommend black dhide: only 1 less magic defense, but 10ish more range defense.... As well as a possible item to protect from zamorak!
  18. uhm Jagex themself said multiple times they didn't want to remove wilderness: but there was no other way round, and they said they had to do it because free trade was to be removed.. now that the reason for it's removal would be gone, why wouldn't it return? - there is no reason not to let it return, it was never purposedly removed
  19. Wait a minute: -At 700k expenses a trip.. With 4 people means the team expenses are 2.4M.. -5 kills a trip, averaging around 300K.. - So you get back 1.5M.. I still see a negative gab of 900k. So to be even non-expensize you should expect around 250Kish special drop. - If all drops have the same rate, you'll be looking at an average value of 95-100m a drop. - This means that to be even "profitable" you'll need to get a drop at least every 100 trips. - Or every 400 kills. And (with the average trip taking 1 hour including getting kill count(?)) to be an effecitve money maker (to make 3M+), you'll need to expect a drop every 100 kills.
  20. Your vote only allows for 1 answer, while all 4 answers are truth I think.
  21. Ah I remember barrows coming out.. Was one of the earlier things I actually "remember" happening. (before that I was basically still figuring out how runescape works). - I joined somewhere in december 2004
  22. That's quite foolish: Even if we neglect the fact that many people voted for accounts they didn't own, jagex should realize that there will always be less people who vote when they have to log in as when they don't.. Many "can't be bothered" to look up their old account passwords!
  23. Uhm no.. The wilderness returning shouldn't even be the qustion: it was an unwanted side effected of free trade removal..
  24. Uhm no, it's a package that always comes together. JAgex stated at the very first replies after wilderness removal that they had to do that because free trade removal without wilderness was meaningless.. So wilderness removal was an unwanted, yet unavoidable side effect from free trade removal.. So the vote is very clear: it is a package.. As without free trade, the old-style-wilderness is stupid. And with free trade the game mechanics which were there from the start of runescape 2 should always return.. Especially as jagex said that the removal was only a side effect!
  25. Nex does consistent damage no matter if you try to run or hide. Her attacks rarely miss no matter how much defense you're packing, and the only way to avoid her multiple target attack is to run out of her range entirely. However, there's no cue for it, and there's no way to out-range her. And she may still decide to teleport to you. Because she soul splits for a set amount of time, in a pattern with the other prayers, it's better to think of it as constant regeneration. Every 30 seconds, you can expect Nex to heal a certain amount (this amount increases based on the amount of people in the room). Basically, ask yourself this - is spreading out going to benefit our team? During the Smoke and Shadow phases, the answer is a BIG yes. It's going to minimize prayer loss to the lingering smoke clouds, it's going to make it easier to avoid the shadows, and it's going to minimize damage from the dark aura. It also avoids damage from her charge attack if you don't stand in the middle. By spreading out you conserve a significant amount of prayer and health. However, during the final phase, the answer is a pretty clear no - spreading out means she'll run and teleport around. Miss clicking while chasing on her is a delay. Pausing for a moment to find out where she just went is a delay. Having to chase her across the room is a delay. Because she essentially regenerations, delays heal her. In contrast, you don't benefit at all from spreading out. You'll still all take AoE damage if you're attacking her, because she has huge range. You'll still take melee damage since she outruns you and can teleport to you. The lingering smoke should be long gone by now. Isn't the AoE aimed at someone? Also with a dd it's harder to watch your health & see if you are actually under attack.
