  1. Personally, when I was F2P I got 3 meds total through all the lessers I ever killed, then got F2P and so far the count is six in four Slayer assignments of lessers. Obviously it's a bit higher in P2P.
  2. Hello everyone. I'm 67 magic, and I just recently got 9k chaos from a friend. I've used around 3k fire bolts at iron dragons, decent experience I think, but no great drops (Plus antifires are kind of expensive ). I've got over 6k chaos left, and I was wondering what I should mage to get the maximum experience, or the maximum profit. If there's a way to combine both, please tell me as well. I don't mind using a different spell, too... but nothing other than Crumble Undead or Fire Bolt. Thanks! :)
  3. Agreed with the rest, it's be as common as the macroer by a yew tree.
  4. This isn't a great place to post this sort of question. If I were you, I'd PM an administrator or moderator, and ask them instead.
  5. Oh. I thought they both dropped the boots. I may be wrong then. :-w
  6. First off, I want to suggest a few things for your equipment and inventory. Go get a God cape if you haven't yet, the +10 magic attack will help a whole lot. Use adamant or rune arrows. You could consider killing ankous for adamant arrows and deaths, they drop loads. Also, I'd suggest bringing along a defence potion, they're around 210GP each from the Warrior's Guild - it helps a bunch. As for the tunnels, don't guess randomly on the door puzzles. Try to read the riddles, or look at the Tip.It Barrows guide. It shows you all the answers, all you have to do is remember them. I'd still suggest getting 70+ defence and better armor though, especially if you want to make more money off of Barrows.
  7. They drop dragon boots, and fairly commonly so I hear. \ EDIT: Oops, I was wrong. They do not drop dragon boots. Sorry.
  8. I'm assuming he was smuggling bloods out of Barbarian Assault, even though the game's not designed for that. Basically getting free bloods by exploiting a glitch... well, that's what it sounds like.
  9. Well, since we're only looking at his Fight Cave strategies, then what does it matter what he got banned for? :P
  10. Sure, arrow stealing is annoying. But I do it sometimes. If they're gonna leave a pile of arrows because they're trying to kill a lesser demon with under 40 range, I shouldn't be yelled at for their stupidity. And if someone takes my arrows, well, I'll just have to get over it.
  11. The problem with the Attack vs. Strength debate is that it's about a 50/50 split on which is better. However, it's safe to say that high attack is best for staking, while higher strength is better for PKing. Personally, I value attack over strength.
  12. Gilded full helm: 475,000gp - 525,000gp Gilded platebody: 2,900,000gp - 3,000,000gp Gilded platelegs: 900,000gp - 1,000,000gp Gilded kiteshield: 850,000gp - 900,000gp Gilded set: 5,700,000gp - 5,900,000gp Gilded plateskirt: 650,000gp - 750,000gp All prices taken from Zybez's price guide. It's very accurate, and always updating.
  13. Muggiwhplar was a master of the Fight Caves. Then he got banned. Not sure why though. :-k
  14. Metal dragons with fire bolt is really only a viable option at 60+ mage. Anything under than that and it won't be too efficient.
  15. You can do Dragon Slayer easier than I did, I was 40/35/40. :P Your armor's looking good, as well as your stats. I'd suggest getting a better amulet though, like a strength or power amulet, as well a rune longsword or scimitar - both would be equally fine. However, don't feel the need to, it'll just make it a bit easier. Although the rune weapon would be great for the future. Bring one strength potion, and an inventory of lobsters. Oh, and just slap on your attack and defence prayers when you get there, it'll help a good bit. Good luck! :)
  16. Well, you really only need four skills for the Fight Caves: ranged, defense, hitpoints, and prayer. I'd say that all of yours are good enough, though it would never hurt to rise them - don't feel obliged to, however. I'd suggest reading Muggi's guide to Fight Caves as well, he is... err, was... the master of the Fight Caves. RIP Muggi. :(
  17. I think the Saradomin godsword special adds 25% of what you hit to your health, with a minimum of 10 HP added. You'd be much better off looking that up in the Knowledge Base, actually. Other than that and Guthans, there aren't any other healing weapons... although you can heal with Ancient Blood spells.
  18. Really good guide! Too bad it's now officially useless what with the new update. :(
  19. You'd probably be better off PMing a moderator or administrator, they'll probably know the limits for sure. As for emoticons, the limit is indeed 10.
  20. is it a good combo to use d b axe to boost ur str and use scimmy? It is, indeed. If you want, you can follow up the dragon battleaxe special with a dose of restore potion, or two doses of attack potion. It'll help put a lot. The scimitar is certainly the best strength training weapon out there.
  21. You could unlock Guthix and Zamorak: lower their defense first with Claws of Guthix, and then use Flames of Zamorak. Not sure how well that would work, plus you'd spend twice as much to unlock the spells.
  22. The skeletons under Crandor are level 45, with 59 hitpoints, and I believe there are safespots available. Of course, Varrock zombies/skeletons might be better.
  23. SwiftSwitch. And it is perfectly legal now, although Jagex advises against using a third party client. They're just trying to protect us from keyloggers; however, everyone I know that uses SwiftSwitch has never been hacked once. That's a good sign, wouldn't you say?
  24. Minotaurs are great. They drop loads of iron arrows, plus there are safespots. I personally trained there until 60 and left with at least 5000 arrows more than what I brought in. :-w
  25. So you're saying that a dragon chainbody is better than a Torag's platebody? Dragon platelegs are better than Torag's platelegs? Dragon full helm better than Torag's helm? More expensive doesn't always mean better.
