What gives more pray: pray pot or super restore?
nerdattack16 replied to Nopheo's topic in Help and Advice
Super restore gives one more prayer point - 33% + 1. -
I have a couple friends who make all their money using that guide. And they have, like, whips and Barrows sets from the cash. :P

Yes, you are ruined. because you have a slight advantage in defence over 1-defence pures, and you probably did not gain a combat level, they will completely own you. You should end your account now. Sarcasm if you didn't catch it. Sheesh, it's only one defence level. If you think it ruined the pure, then make it 5, 20, or 45 defence.

new question... what quest are ghost robes from?
nerdattack16 replied to x24788x's topic in Help and Advice
Ghostly Robes aren't exactly from a quest, but you need parts of Desert Treasure to get them. Try reading Tip.It's Ghostly Robes guide to help you out. -
Well, I've only the done the very beginning of RFD, and besides, black vambraces are the second best range attack gloves you can get besides Barrows gloves. Still on the lookout for more advice. My friend suggested a bolt pouch, maybe I could store my "secondary" bolts in there - ruby [e], a few emerald [e], maybe even a few dragonstone [e]?
-
Well, I can certainly do rune boots and a glory. Can't do a DK ring though, that 2 million budget has to include bolts and potions needed. I guess I'll bring a recoil. Yes, I am, by most standards, "poor." I was thinking 2,000-3,000 diamond (e) bolts with an accumulator, and 50-100 ruby (e) for the 360s and Jad.

Nah, that's a pretty good magic level to begin with. As for your inventory: Runes needed, natures + fires for alchables, 875 GP for entrance, a cheap axe that you can drop/alch after you get to the dragons, an emergency monkfish/shark, and anti fire potions. How many you bring depends on how long you want to stay; one potion lasts 20 minutes. 1,000 spells an hour, roughly, so 1,000 spells = 3 antifires. Also, I suggest that you only do Iron Dragons right now.

1. Yes, they changed SwiftSwitch to align properly with Jagex's rules. 2. Yes, it's safe; I'll bet thousands of players use it daily. 3. Worth it? I like it. It's got quite useful tools, like price guides and a built-in highscore lookup. Plus, it's not a really big program, so it won't take up much room at all. Try it out a bit, see for yourself.

A new goal I recently thought of. Fire Cape. That elusive cape of power, wearable only through hours of intense combat with RuneScape's deadliest monsters. I want one, and I want it bad. My first attempt at the Fight Caves will be only ranged: 70 ranged, 70 defence, 60 prayer, and 74-76 hitpoints. I'll have a budget of around 2 million GP or so. Items/equipment that I have/can get without using the budget (hopefully): Verac's helm, Karil's top, Verac's skirt, Rune crossbow, Unholy book, and black vambraces. I want to know what sort of bolts I need, and how many; also, what should I wear in the ring, amulet, cape, and boot slot? Also, should I use a Karil's crossbow instead of Rune + unholy book? Note that I will not get a crystal bow, I'm just too cheap. :P Any different recommendations to my armor? What amount of Saradomin brews/super restores should I take at those levels? Yes, I've read Muggi's guide. He didn't specify some things I wanted to know though, and it doesn't hurt to check with many different people. :)

I agree on everything except "least 70 def" Check my signature. EDIT: It's 1 trip, Monk fish, NO prayer potions. Aprox 5-10 monk fish left after a trip. At 67 defence he should have no problems. How do you do any of the brothers at 45 defence without prayer? :-k Safespot them in the tunnels? I start of using Prayer/slayer/magic dart on Dharock. I move on to Karil where i use my leftover prayer on him. Then i tank the rest of the brothers in their crypts (side stepping to heal, Explained in most barrows guides.) I range Ahrim in his crypt (Works well with any range level that's +60). If a melee brother is in the tunnel i use the "secret" safespots If a Range/magic brother is in the tunnel I "Side step" the brother at the chest to heal. It may sound very complicated but it's not after you get a hang of it. Edit: Maybe i should make a guide someday. Edit2:I can post my armor later if requested I understand perfectly; I follow that almost exact same method. But at 60 defense, I got hit a lot while trying to tank Ahrim and Verac. I'm just curious how you do at 45 with lots of food left. :P

ok thank you as well, just wanna see what i need to train up, and if dharok trys to kill me ill just kick him in the balls, simple as that lol No, it's not simple as that. Without prayer Dharok WILL kill you. I've seen players with what I assumed to be higher defense levels than you getting owned by Dharok. I've seen someone fight Dharok, no prayer, but he was 126 combat, with the best armor money could buy, and I'm pretty sure he had balls of steel. I'd suggest 50+ prayer, 65+ ranged and magic, and 70+ defence. I'd also suggest 55 slayer, for Slayer Dart.

Is this uncommon? Rate.

Better than me, I'm level 89 and still haven't done it. Congrats, may your fly fishing days be happily spent in Shilo Village with a large pile of trout. :) -
nerd...pc was made for training so ppl have the right to use it without being flamed d00p Don't use "nerd" as an insult, use something like "idiot". Nerds are dumb; they're generally known for being smarter than the rest, usually. :) Ontopic: 97/99. I don't care if you PCed or not, it's still impressive, and you're almost there. Keep at it, and try to have fun on the way.

I thought Bilbo gave him the Mithril chain mail. :-w

In order of speed: Magic shortbow > Magic comp bow > Magic longbow Plus, the magic shortbow has a bit better special.

--124 Comabat and 82 Prayer!--
nerdattack16 replied to c3pt0r's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
Think I saw you today, you were on the way to something in the Slayer Tower. Congrats on 82 prayer, best of luck for 126! :) -
Mystic, farseer helm, Barrows gloves, or chaos gauntlets if using bolt spells, and of course an anti-dragon shield.
-
This is the correct one. Bob's shop in Lumbridge ONLY FIXES WOODCUTTING AXES. Nurmof in the Dwarven Mines, however, will fix all pickaxes for a small fee.
-
I wouldn't think it would be trimmed because the cape would be thought of as an invalid member's only item. Probably not affected in F2P.
-
All you should bring is your fire staff, nature runes, whatever you're alching, and perhaps a house teletablet plus a Saradomin brew for emergencies, although the brew isn't necessary. Oh, and you NEED a spade to get inside the mound. You'll be perfectly safe as long as you don't click on the tomb inside the mound. And if you don't know where Dharok's tomb is, then just look at Tip.It's Barrows guide. Happy alching! :)

Ranged: 65 to 70. ~ Answered, can be closed.
nerdattack16 replied to nerdattack16's topic in Help and Advice
Well then. Awesome. Thanks all of you for helping me out. :) -
Villager top (brassard would be best, but you said no expensive stuff), Tyras helm, bronze skirt, red cape, spear. Possibly a hasta and wooden shield?

Ranged: 65 to 70. ~ Answered, can be closed.
nerdattack16 replied to nerdattack16's topic in Help and Advice
Well, since I have no idea, then I'll trust you guys and go to the ogres. :) One question about them, though: does the accumulator work through the cage? I really don't want to pick up all my arrows or buy more than I really need if I didn't pick them up. -
I was thinking of buying 8,000 iron knives and killing Fire Giants all the way to 70 ranged. I only need to throw about 17,500 knives, and I'll get back most of the 8,000 knives with an accumulator. I know fire giants are a great way to train ranged. But are there any faster ways that do NOT involve cannoning? Equip setup: archer helm, full red d'hide, unholy book, glory amulet, possibly snakeskin boots. Oh, and an accumulator, of course.
