Second day of playing, I found an air staff and a purple cape. 19 months later, and they're both still here. :
-
He'll probably respond to your suggestion with, "omg i cant mine 2 60 cuz there arnt free rocks!!1" :P To which I would respond, "Don't use coal to level to 60 mining. If you're that desperate, mine coal in the Wilderness. You'd be better off powermining iron to 60, then you can go into the guild." Plus, not only are the rocks not yours at all, but people who endlessly complain "omg u stold me rok u noob" makes it that much more entertaining to keep stealing their rocks if they're going to be an uncivilized buffoon over it.

Battleaxe is stronger, but longsword is better overall. Best combination for training would be battleaxe special, restore potion, then longsword or scimitar.

If You Found 250 Million Coins. What Would You Buy? 20k views

Purple partyhat, 99 Prayer, Guthan's armor, lots of glories... actually, I'd just probably stare at the money for a week, thinking, "Is this really 250M in my bank?" -
Guthan's armor's set effect is a random occurrence when wearing the full set of Guthan armor. When it occurs, it heals you for the exact amount of damage you hit your enemy for. You hit a 23 and the effect occurs, and you're healed 23 HP. All Barrows armor fully decays after 15 full hours while using the armor in combat. Fully decayed, it's around 330K to repair the whole set, I believe.

Yeah, pretty much. It's too slow for good training, but the killer hits are great for a KO in PKing.
-
But when you lure the healers to yourself, like he did, then they forget about healing Jad and come attack you. So obviously, either a hidden update or glitch... are you sure his health was even increasing? It just might have been a graphical glitch.

Pssh, the demon is kind of a narb. I only got hit once by him because I clicked protect from magic a bit too late. :P The only "hard parts" are escaping jail and running around on Ape Atoll when you're not a monkey. All you need are some antipoisons, energy potions, and sharks. Put it this way. I did the quest with very little trouble at level 78. I also had lower ranged than you.
-
I'm pretty sure arrows don't add to your ranged bonus, so why would bolts?
-
I hit better with tips on my bolts than without.
-
I can't believe you actually said the word "fr00b" without joking. Go with the Dragon scimitar, unless you want to Dharok (Ape Atoll FTW).
-
The absolute fastest way is to buy dragon bones and use them on a guilded altar, with both burners lit. Right now, you'd need 259 bones. I'm not sure about the current price of dragon bones, but I assume you might know, or at least can figure it out. :P

Don't you mean ranged? I hear the demon was quite resistant to mage, and that range was the way to go... well, I was 55 ranged when I beat it, and it wasn't too hard. :-k

Just an introduction that I wrote, I'm not sure where I'll go with this. The strongest memory I have of the end is the noise. Hiding in old, damp concrete bunkers as a young boy, huddled with my mother, cringing and crying out when bombs would detonate above our heads. I remember venturing outside during a rare lull in the war and chaos, and the sight that I beheld still frightens me to this very day. Masses of bodies. No man had taken time to even crudely bury them; they simply laid in massive piles all around. The stench of death was so overpowering it made me vomit, the sight made me cringe and sob... yet, even though it was horrifying, I could not turn my head away. I faintly remember my mother, ordering me to stay inside the bunker, while she ventured outside to look for more supplies. Her disappearance was eleven years ago. Now I am one of the few left on this war-torn world, trying to survive, and searching desperately for others in hope that one day we could rebuild, repopulate Earth's splendor. This is my life after the end. This is my life after the Apocalypse. ----- Constructive criticism and all other comments welcome. :

Magic Dart gives 30 base EXP per cast, and the closest to that would be Earth Bolt - 30.5 base EXP per cast.

--Mage Karil, you'll rarely splash even on him. --Upgrade to rune boots, only about 150k nowadays. Buy the remaining two Guthix pages. The rest is good, but you might want to consider upgrading to Barrows armor if you're going for profit from Barrows. --Buy adamant or rune arrows. Ankous drop lots of adamants, and fire giants drop decent rune arrows. You can buy defence potions and cheese potatoes for very cheap from the Warrior's Guild, although you might have to hop around a bit between worlds. --You don't need a whip to train defence. :P Dragon scimitar will work fine. --God cape gives +10 magic attack and defence. --Another option is if you run out of Slayer Dart runes and don't want to buy more, you can use Fire Bolt with Chaos Gauntlets.

new quest done

2.7 KD ratio? Nice. I think mine is... .1 KD. Heh, I'm bad at CS (Source). Grats on the new quest too... dang, that's a crapload of strength and slayer EXP for a quest. -
After King's Ransom. Then there's some combat training minigame you have to complete, not sure about details. :-w

Welcome to RuneScape. Whoever built this wasn't very nice. Welcome to RuneScape. A shrine of the gods! Don't you love how those contrast? The second one is from the middle of the maze random event, forgot where the first one came from. :-w

Here it is! :)

Alright, a fellow "low level" wanting to do Barrows! Well, you've got almost great stats to begin Barrows without using prayer potions, all you need is 70+ defence. I'd also suggest getting one more magic level to 70, since you should use Slayer Dart at Barrows, and that'll be a new max hit. 1.7M should certainly be enough to purchase starting supplies, especially since you probably already have some equipment. I'd suggest this setup, as it is fairly cheap: Berserker/Neitiznot (optional +Farseer) Torag's platebody > Rune platebody Verac's plateskirt > Dragon plateskirt > Rune legs Amulet of Glory God cape Slayer staff God book (Zamorak > Guthix) Rune boots (Or mystic if you don't have rune) Best RFD gloves > Chaos gauntlets > Mystic gloves Ring of Life Inventory: Spade, one click teleport, deaths+minds (150+ casts per trip), d'hide top+chaps, MSB/rune crossbow, one prayer potion, one normal defence potion, your melee weapon, and the rest monkfish. You don't need to take a whip, since you really don't need to melee Karil. Dragon scimitar or longsword for tunnels will be perfect. All in all, that setup is pretty cheap, but hugely effective for me.

Certainly looks like I'm going to Taverly. Thanks, all of you! :) And by the way, I've got 64 range and I kill them about as easily as fire giants. :-w -
The ones east of Ardougne in the dungeon are alright, but where are some better ones? I'm ranging, safespots. No wilderness at all.
-
Correct, the salve amulet does not stack with a slayer mask. And I don't think there are any new things to that list... perhaps those barbarians that are undead, I think?

Is misspelling of words a crime in RuneScape?
