i hate trying to mine coal when some idiot with a rune pick and like lvl 99 mining comes! and im sure other people do to! then i pked myself a rune pick and it still happens!

Here is some options

 

-Hop worlds

 

-Wait for some more coal to spawn

 

-Keep mining

 

-Move on, it's a multi player game.

 

 

 

It happens every day to nearly everyone who mines. It is no big deal.

Get your mining level up

I assume you are f2p as coal isn't widely fought over in p2p. If so, mine in the coal mine in the wilderness. Those with a higher mining level deserve to be able to take the coal from you. I know it's annoying but its fair.

if they have a higher level than they have earned the right to take it from you by training there skill, train in a quiet iron rock and then you wont get pushed off as much

actually it is more annoying when you know u have a high mining lvl than the guy who just stole the rock from you...and some of them will shout "WOOT beat a lvl 85 miner!!!" #-o but yea the rocks are for all to use...if you dont like getting competition buy coal/use skeleton mines in wildy/get 59 mining with stout to enter mining guild...

If you're in f2p, Edgeville dungeon is probably the best place to mine coal.

well besides everyone hating this thread =; , i also hate when ur there first and a guy comes and starts stealing wat ur mining. i mean i even make the effort to share like in craft guild. i skip a rock so they can mine but they still go ahead and mine mine. people on rs dont have manners anymore its just ill do wat i want even if people are willing to share.

Go in world 1-12...

 

they're so blasted busy, that there's fewer pple in the mining guild.

 

 

 

or go to the world where they host parties...basiclaly go on a world thats hard to get in.

 

you'll get lag..

 

but the rocks respawn faster

 

and there's fewer pple

Luck plays bigger role in mining than mining lvls.

Also why should we share when i can have the whole thing seriously it makes it faster than if you share. If i share i get 28 gold per 20 minute sif i don't i get 28 per 9 minutes. So I don't share because I mine for speed and effancy(sp)

What if Mark made coal rocks?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, just stick to a pattern of rocks and I think you have a better chance of getting the rock in "your territory". It works for me. Ahh whell, 73 mining helps too.

i cant train my mining cuz theres no free rocks! duh!

Deal with it. I beat that lvl 99 didn't get every ore he tried to mine. No one has ever gotten every ore they've ever tried. Go train. Use iron rocks for a while. Less people will ore steal from you on them. If you still can't do it, mine tin or copper. Eventually, you'll get to a level where you'll be able to mine coal. I didn't mine it until about 10 levels after the limit to do it.

Go to lvl 7 wildy above Edgeville with a mith pick and mine coal there. Sure there are skeletons so bring a weapon and some food. Porblem solved.

what i hate even more than rock stealing is someone who is around level 40 mining get the coal instead of me (64 mining). :roll:
