  1. Mining rune tops the chart Followed by GoP(50/50 will earn in the 150k/hr range) more if you play 61 and have a decent team. Followed by flour-pizza base. Now pie shells are worth a lot more, but getting the pie dishes is slow. It takes about 8 hours for port sarim to replenish it's flour supply, so it is a once-twice a day activity. If you are going to make pizza bases then also pick up cheese and tomatoes, out of the 550 flours you will get ~50 cheese/toms. At this point it gets muddled, but clay-soft clay, gold rings, then some of the gathering skills.
  2. Awww I got ignored, oh well. Ways to make it less p2p soloable Dilute the drops with charms and other semi-useless p2p items. Make the monster have a long respawn time -or- Make the f2p 'boss' the first in a series beasts, similar to the firecape, just cutoff the f2p after the first 1-2 waves, let members have the remaining, and perhaps put some penalty on teleporting out.
  3. Also broken in the sense of the price caps. Bronze arrows, cheese, and pie dishes comes to mind. The caps prevents merching price boosting the items, but there are no incentives to make these items with the prices so low.
  4. or gold rings craft req of 5(80-90gp profit per ring), also if you persist on the clay then switch to pie dishes.
  5. I find it humorous that a decent boss monster for f2p would probably be solo-able by a p2p'er, and if it is worthwhile for a f2p team of five, it would be crazy for a team of one. *edit* I suppose there are ways; messing with respawn time making it looooong, it being the first of a 'wave' of monsters so there is incentive to continue, dilute the drops with worthless p2p items(wonder how long it would take for people to realize that lol)
  6. crafting, you will have to watch the prices, but gold rings, amulets, necklaces, emerald rings, and sapphire necklaces are usually profitable. magic+smith yeah superheating, again watch the prices, you may need to hold onto the bars for a bit to get max profit, but it is there, I would go mith, today it is a 29 gp loss. Cooking, putting anchovies on pizzas is easy profit,(good luck getting the pizzas) For practical cooking swordfish used to be the best xp/gp(may just have to spend the money) Melee if you are over 90 combat go with cockroaches, gp/drop nothing else comes close to them. The only other monster I would kill would be the giants, but they are usually crowded, my ranking would be hills> moss> ice hob goblins arnt too shabby either.
  7. If you are a decent combat level then try the 'steel mine' north of edgeville, I say decent combat level because the skeletons may get annoying.
  8. Hmm, spend what you have to get 50 rc, then play the rc guild minigame. People have gotten better so I only get about 150k-200k gp/hr now :( Next up is buying flour from the port sarim food store(sorry but you will need some full water buckets) and making pizza bases. While you are buying the flour might as well grab the tomatoes and cheeses and make some uncooked pizzas. About 200k/hr including the time it takes to fill the 550 water buckets. It takes a little over an hour to buy all 500 flours, make into bases, and refill the buckets. Gold rings are probably a great idea, I think you can make about 1.2k/hr so if you dont find that boring stick with it.
  9. hmm first sell your mith arrows for bronze or iron. For armor The "cheap" version is hard leather body leather chaps, coif and leather vambracers; for +18 range, for slightly more expensive is replacing the chaps with studded, for +20 range. At 40 upgrade to dragonhide. I dont think you have done dragon slayer so just hard leather body green vambraces, chaps, and coif for +26. Also use amulet of power. As for spots, in the SoS first level there are some walls with minotaurs. In varrok sewer there are some skeletons behind a fence right after the rats. Chickens, collecting feathers I'd stick to those 3 spots if you are only going for 50. Stop doing chickens at lvl 30ish range. After 50 I would recommend not picking up arrows and either craft guild hob goblins, or red spiders in varrok sewer.
  10. Money wise, yeah rune mining is by far the quickest, I find it very tedious. Next up is the RC minigame, dunno if you have the 50 rc needed. This isn't so much skills, but buying the flour from port sarim food shop and making into pizzas bases is fairly good money. Along the same vein mining clay and turning it soft. Mining for iron, if you can find an empty world then varrok east mine, or steel mine up in the wild, dunno if your def would make you get hit a bunch. Rimington mine is another option, making use of the cabbage tele(varrok/draynor diary) You can also fish lobster to the east of the greater demon ruins in the wild, Karmaja is quicker especially with the cabbage tele.(Do the diary!!)
  11. I find that I do get more charges by running, hiding, house hugging, etc; but it isn't really worth the trouble/time. But nothing has changed gameplay wise, except the timer on house portals.
  12. enchanting diamond ammies is the quickest, ruby next superheating iron/silver/gold is next up Alching is next Superheating anything else is slower than alching, but costs much less money and in some circumstances makes money. This was all awhile ago, I do not know if they messed with the animation speeds from the last time.
  13. For a full world I would go with the 2 diagonal rocks. For a non 1k+ world than the three rock method. It is just that you have to move first then mine, and it slows you down. If you are a step away from a rock and just click 'mine' it takes longer to get the ore. And with click 'move' it is just another click, and you will already be clicking enough. Rimmington has 2 sets of two rocks. Al karhid is usually less full and has 2 two rock spots, and 1 three rock formation
  14. It refers to the monsters hitpoints divided by it's combat level.
  15. Will try, thanks. What's the most effective way to earn the tokens though? I tried 50/50 but even that only earns me like 1800 tokens per hour. only? Trade in for the water talismans, sell them when their price is 4500+ and you have made ~160k in that hour. But to answer if you get really good, and make friends with other people who are really good, you basically stack the team and win all the time, netting about 2.5k token/hr(lower than theoretical max due to quitting, timer resets, the rare match against another stacked team, or sabotaging teammates).
  16. Another option for rcing after level 50 try GoP. If you already have the tokens for earth gloves then just go with that. GoP is just a good change of pace, albeit a lot slower rc xp, but you can make a lot of money through the token-talisman; which you can use to speed up some other skill.
  17. I would say yes, I found using the dwarf stout to make things in large quantities to be rather annoying.
  18. For super max, it is about; str ammy, zerker shield, pray flashing 15% str, with str pots, at giant spiders. Flashing the 10% prayer is much more practical. For str pot numbers, if you are at giant spiders(I wouldn't) but about 4 should last you long enough. If at flesh crawlers 8-10. If you find you run out of food before pots of course bring 1 more food, and vise versa
  19. Now that I think about it, the OXM list is kinda off a bit, well at least for edf. There is a harder/takes more time achievement in that game, unlock all the weapons, to do it you need to beat all the levels, then maybe grind for awhile longer to get those last few. I wonder which is harder the Bioshock diary or the halflife ep 2 kill all the.... slug things?
  20. Hmmm, you need to farm more armor/get the lysander z.

    Steam

only thing, steam is your worst enemy if you are 56k. Mandatory 10 hr downloads to play a game offline(that is if the steam servers decide to kick you off before then so you have to restart the process), awesome! But if you are not on 56k than steam is quite nice.
  22. For about a week fire talis were merched, so they were better, but eventually they will drop back to their baseline, and water talismans will once again be the talisman to get. Well atm water is better(4.1k vs 3.3k).
  23. Here is your listing good-bad http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/bes ... 362-6.html There will be a new list in a couple of weeks with the new additions. I do not even try to keep up with vid cards, there are just too many with too many suffixes and the numbers are all over the board(imo)
  24. either way, but what I do is get a few fali teles, and a bunch of rc guild teles, and just tele back and forth. Yes you 'make' less money this way, but it is much quicker than walking. If you want to keep at the max gp/token then cabbage tele to draynor then walk/tele back to guild.
  25. I have not seen a TTT bump in awhile, so... TTT
