  1. It's a decent job, it suited superman fine.
  2. These people are just outrageous thousands are protesting that the sentence was too short, and that she should be 'shot' I say we stop giving aid and let them fend for themselves like the true brainwashed animals they are. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7121025.stm
  3. ahh GCSE's... Just do a shed load of past papers and you should get all A*s in your exam units, that's basically all you need for exams.. I'd go as far as to say past papers ftw.
  4. That's in Muslim countries and of course I don't support the forcing of religion onto people. However, did you ever consider that the vast majority of Muslim women who choose to wear such items of clothing (in this country at least) do so out of a genuine love for their religion, and not through this perceived fear you describe? Next you'll be telling me that a Christian cross is a sign of oppresion for those that have been raised in the most vehement Catholic families... or maybe they're just proud of being a Christian? I'm not denying religion does have its problems, and is at the root of most modern-day political issues. However, there is a difference between holding that view, and taking it too far by being anti-religious, as Pat Condell does. I myself am not religious, but the faith and trust some religious people have in others in truely admirable. Being religious is not necessarily a weakness, so long as you actually question what you believe. That goes with any belief. I may refuse to believe in the existance of a divine force, and I wouldn't believe anyone who told me the contrary without proof, but that doesn't mean I have to revert to the opposite extreme and hate religion itself. Back on-topic, whilst the sentance could have been a lot worse and lot more humiliating, this is simply an embarassment; not only for the Sudanese government, but for Muslims across the world. Muslims in this country have enough trouble convincing others their religion does not promote violence without short-sighted idiots calling for an innocent mistake to be punished by a lashing. It makes me wonder why we help this government with aid for its people, when it seems more focused on this case than it does lifting the millions of poverty-stricken refugees across Sudan off their knees. Maybe they do love it, but I can't see why. I mean how degrading is it to the female gender when they're considered second best and are told to cover up because the men can't conduct themselves in front of a woman wearing 'normal' clothes. I know this is going OT but the Christian cross thing is odd as well, nowhere in the new testament does it say that Christians should wear a crucified figure of Jesus around their neck, I mean Jesus rose, but they still wear him crucified on the cross. Oh and I've got nothing against religion, but when it sticks its nose in good peoples business and puts them behind bars that's when it crosses the line and pisses me off. Condell makes the same point; be as religious as you like, just don't get me or people that don't agree with it involved. Another point is that people always seem to want to stick up for God, why not let God stick up for himself during judgement day, why do they feel the need to persecute other humans on earth to protect God? Well for their own narrow minded selfish cause probably...
  5. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7119399.stm 15 days in a Sudanese prison and then deportation, the realms of stupidity just hit a new high.
  6. So you also believe that Muslim women who choose to wear the hijab at their own free will are "mentally ill", and that religion was "dorment" until Muslims arrived in the UK? Atheists like Pat Condell are the reason perfectly tolerant Atheists, such as myself, declare themselves Agnostic. Yes some Muslim women do wear it at their own free will, if you can even call it that as it sounds so ridiculous. I'm on more about Burka's I don't mind the Hijab.. It's not their free will to wear it they've been brought up to wear it, it's like me and you have been brought up to wear clothes. What you have to see is that in Muslim countries and in any family that has strong religious beliefs children don't get a choice, it's either you believe what your parents believe or you get disowned or honour killed. And I cannot for the life of me see well I can but if I try hard, how a person would call it 'normal' to expect Muslim women to wear Burka. And on the contrary Pat Condell opened my eyes to religion and its misfits and I former agnostic would consider myself an atheist now.
  7. Some Religion is such [cabbage] especially Islam, it's unbelievable. Pat Condell says everything I think of about religion http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=h7iBoq_yC4k check out his other videos as well.

    Love Songs <3

Bryan Adams- Please Forgive me (this song actually made me start learning guitar again)
  10. I think they should be able to express their views, whilst not preaching it to the rest of the public i.e. they can say what they believe when asked. Not say what they believe when not asked. It's funny how the Human rights law in this country allows such freedom and how in other countries a teacher gets jailed for letting a toddler name its teddy Muhammed link
  11. I tried once and failed miserably.
  12. 25/30 and 24/30. they were quiet a lot to do with rhythm as well.
  13. Metallica - One I cant remember anything Cant tell if this is true or dream Deep down inside I feel to scream This terrible silence stops me Now that the war is through with me Im waking up I can not see That there is not much left of me Nothing is real but pain now Hold my breath as I wish for death Oh please god, wake me Back in the womb its much too real In pumps life that I must feel But cant look forward to reveal Look to the time when Ill live Fed through the tube that sticks in me Just like a wartime novelty Tied to machines that make me be Cut this life off from me Hold my breath as I wish for death Oh please god, wake me Now the world is gone Im just one Oh god, help me hold my breath as I wish for death Oh please God help me Darkness imprisoning me All that I see Absolute horror I cannot live I cannot die Trapped in myself Body my holding cell Landmine has taken my sight Taken my speech Taken my hearing Taken my arms Taken my legs Taken my soul Left me with life in hell U2- Sometimes you can't make it on your own. Tough, you think you've got the stuff You're telling me and anyone You're hard enough You don't have to put up a fight You don't have to always be right Let me take some of the punches For you tonight Listen to me now I need to let you know You don't have to go it alone And it's you when I look in the mirror And it's you when I don't pick up the phone Sometimes you can't make it on your own We fight all the time You and I...that's alright We're the same soul I don't need...I don't need to hear you say That if we weren't so alike You'd like me a whole lot more Listen to me now I need to let you know You don't have to go it alone And it's you when I look in the mirror And it's you when I don't pick up the phone Sometimes you can't make it on your own I know that we don't talk I'm sick of it all Can - you - hear - me - when - I - Sing, you're the reason I sing You're the reason why the opera is in me... Where are we now? I've got to let you know A house still doesn't make a home Don't leave me here alone... And it's you when I look in the mirror And it's you that makes it hard to let go Sometimes you can't make it on your own Sometimes you can't make it The best you can do is to fake it Sometimes you can't make it on your own

Then why post a crappy little sentence explaining absolutely nothing, you little [cabbage]? to make a point which is too intelligent for [developmentally delayed] like you to understand, anyway that story shouldn't be presented as fact as I'm sure it is 100% made up. And if anyone likes I can prove it. (1)It's very easy to understand that you didn't like the story and complained to the thread in one crappy sentence. You didn't bother to explain it one bit,(2) you didn't even realize that the original poster didn't even say it was fact and thus defended your crappy response with something unrelated. Proving that you and a lot of your posts are [cabbage]. Oh, and bonus points for calling me [developmentally delayed]. :| (1)I didn't bother to explain because I didn't need to explain and how did I complain to the thread? It can't listen to me.. I expressed an opinion about the story, but I said further on if anyone wanted explanation about why I didn't like it/thought it was a bunch of lies I'd give it. Can you tell me how making a point in one sentence makes it 'crappy' as you made points with one sentences? And is there a law that says if you have a difference of opinion you cannot express it? (2)The OP said calling the story a gem which I presume means 'good' and saying he would act the story out at his gf's house, meaning he presented as if it was true. [/hide] 1. That example was just a joke. No explanation needed. Even if it wasn't a joke (which it is), that still doesn't change the fact that I barely ever post sentences like that and you always do. I've noticed a pattern of this in your posts. 2. You seriously thought that he sincerely believed it was a true story? How does calling something good imply that it's true? (1) so what who cares if I keep it short? If I'm having a debate I usually post long thought through replies, yet if its something needing commenting I comment it. (2)And I said PRESENTED as fact. Str0 all you do is spam up this forum with negative post's.. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say it at all Ha! mod wanabe.. if you don't like my replies don't read them, or report them (let the real mods do their job, not like I'm saying that there is anything wrong with my replies in the first place), don't tell me not to post them, your in no position to tell me what to do. For your information its StrO with an 'O' not a 0.
  15. Just downloaded Leona Lewis's new album Spirit, I'm not big fan of of Deva style music, but this one is actually really good her vocals are top notch. my second would have to be Long Road Out Of Eden- Eagles and third is Magic by Bruce Springsteen lives up to its name.. all I can think of for now
  16. Death is actually an easy way out. I have no idea why countries and governments sponsor this as a punishment. Why do you think non-suicidal professional criminals turn the gun on their head if they're about to get caught & know they're looking at 40 years inside the walls? Take China for example, one of the most common punishments for serious crime is labor camps. 40 Years of forced labor in a coal mine... The offender gets punished, and the society benefits & doesn't have to kill a person. death is not really the easy way out it has devarstating effects on the families of the offender and the offender can actually be not guilty, however in some countries its more cheap to kill as you don't have to feed/wash/heat the prisoner for the rest of his/her life. Now a labour camp isn't a humane form of punishment, but one of torcher and prolonged suffering as the person in the coal mine would probably die a slow, agonising death of TB or something.

  18. revenge on a smalls scale is fine IMO, however in life for life is absurd that's why I'm against the death penalty, your saying it's wrong for that person to take a life but you're taking his.
