Since We are having a News Topic Spurt, I thought why not post this lol

Not being Harsh but on Death Certificate....Cause of Death "Trying to enter Cat Flap" :uhh:

A man has been found dead in a cat flap after trying to get back into his girlfriend's house.

The cat flap where Mr Tucker died (pic: News4Jax.com)Charles Tucker, 32, was found at the house in St Augustine in Florida several hours after his girlfriend had asked him to leave.

Mr Tucker's friend Will Elliot said: "He's a big guy. I don't even know how he could fit through there.

"They said he had one arm through there and his head was caught in there, like he was to reach up and unlock the door, because there's no way he could fit through there."

Officials called case one of the strangest they had seenMr Tucker's girlfriend called 911 when she found him and the emergency services arrived within four minutes, but he was already dead.

Officials, who described the accident as one of the strangest they had ever seen, had had an encounter with Mr Tucker the day before his death.

They had found him slumped over the wheel of his car and he was taken to hospital and later discharged.

A cause of death has not yet been established.

Or this..

Damn, you beat me to it.

Darwin Awards rule, you all should have a good look through, and perhaps buy the books.

For some reason, 'death by cat-flap' has a nice ring to it. :-k

The article makes it seem like he was just trying to unlock the door, which isn't that stupid.. :|

It also said that he had a problem the day before where he was slumped the wheel (steering wheel?) of his car.

Maybe he had some kind of condition. Said condition kicked in while he got himself stuck in the pet door.

I hate to say this, but that would be funny if he had lived. I mean imagine a big fat guy finally getting up, but breaking the door in the process so he gets up with a massive "necklace" around his head

But thats a horrible way to die......R.I.P.

Don't try that at home kids :wall:

Am I the only one who thinks that a "News Article" subforum would be a great idea for the OT?

That thought has been entertained a few times... But no, not necessarily.

People have this weird concept that "news article -> instant bad thread"

"News" articles aren't made up stories, they are events which have just happened in the world recently. If you can add a point worth discussing to go with the article, it's perfectly fine. As I remember Mercifull pointing out once, "not another news article with no input from the poster". Posting an article and adding nothing yourself is something you should avoid. It destroys the point of 'discussion'.

And... We aren't exactly saturated with things to talk about here on off topic.
