GW, a league table would great, except it would be too hard to keep track and all that. When my friends and I play, we kind of use a ranking system. The first time we played, we were all at 0. Every time you come in third or fourth, you subtract 1 from your score. If you come in first or second, you add 1. The only way this works is because we have four people keeping track, and it's in real life. It'd be pretty hard keeping track online. Like most of us have agreed on, let's just use a list of good stages. FD, Battlefield, Smashville, Pokemon Stadium (ONE - from Melee), etc. -.- Every stage has its flaws, some just suck more than others.

Worlds #1 Sport?
Yeah, there is strategy, and a bit of running around, but nothing compared to most other sports. Soccer/football is fun to watch. And play. American is neither fun to watch or play. Tennis is also pretty fun to play, but not so much to watch. Obviously in my opinion.

I think I broke my toe(s)...
But unless they get to see/feel/hear/smell/taste his foot, they won't be much help.

How about let's just use Final Destination and Battlefield for everything. :? (Okay, okay, those stages have flaws too...But who cares)

Do you agree with this?
The girl that sat behind me in math played WoW. Wtf. Male, ~3 years, America. I remember during E3, during the Nintendo convention, they mentioned something like how 50% of DS owners are females? The number of Wii-playing females is also increasing, I'm pretty sure. Casual games and all that. Other than the girl I mentioned above, I don't know any hardcore girl gamers. I'm sure they exist though.

The Offical TIF American Elections thread
We're talking about the same people that support the death penalty, right? :-# (Even though an unborn fetus and a criminal are completely different, isn't murder still murder?)

I say we just randomize it. More suspense that way. And I'll have a 1% chance of winning, instead of .01%. As for stages, shouldn't we just have a list that we can pick from? It's kind of hard impossible to counterpick stages online. Honestly, I don't care. I just want to play. And lose.

Seeded as in lowest seed vs. highest seed? Oh crap. That means me against Kent/Mano. :wall: Double elimination though, I hope? ...We better actually finish it this time. :?

The Little Things That Bug You
Well, there's a guy at my school, and he really gets on my nerves. I'll just describe him. People who think that their opinion is always right. People who think they're cool. For whatever reason, whether it be doing "x", or having a certain opinion. Ignorant people. Jerks. People who take everything seriously. People who turns everything into a political or religious debate. People who try to take control of everything. People who call you three times in a row, even if you don't pick up the first time. People who must tell you "GTG BB" every time they log off IM. People who can't spell for their lives yet claim to be godly at English. People who constantly brag. Especially about things they can't do or haven't done. People who think Obama is a legit Muslim terrorist. People who think sports mean everything. People who think getting a girl is everything. People who try to make an excuse for everything they've done wrong. As in, people who can't admit what they've done. People who don't have any pride at all. Conformists. People who think they're your friend, yet act like a jackass to you 24/7, and even after you try to make peace (And they "accept"), they still act like a jackass. And still claim to be your friend. Wow. That's a long list. Can I kill him now?

Fantastic Contraption + Incredibots
Yeah, that's what I did for level 10. Stuck a ton of wheels on there. There are multiple solutions. Most solutions for a level will be pretty similar though. So yea. I'm on level 12. There's a second page. Who would've known...

Weird experiences with random people!
Last year, my history class was on a field trip, we were walking the Freedom Trail. We were at the Boston Massacre site...I doubt many of you have been there, but there's an "island" in the middle of the road, with a star or something like that. So some kids in my group ran across, our teacher went over to get them back. So there we were, maybe 6 of us, standing on the sidewalk, by ourselves. Some random guy comes over and says "That's a GREAT thing your teacher is doing, teaching you independence and how to care for yourselves. You guys are the future, the future of America, the future of the world." ...Or something like that. Actually pretty coincidental now that I think about it, here we were at a memorial to victims of the American Revolution, which was based about freedom and the future, and some guy comes and lectures us on exactly that...

Wow, coincidence much? My physics teacher has a website, where he posts the homework. The homework for the honors physics classes he teaches - "Play http://fantasticcontraption.com/"

Dedede is stronger AND faster than Ike. End of. Not to mention Waddle Dee's mess Ike up more than any other character. Actually, Dedede is better than Ike in like...Everything. Honestly Ray, just pick random for a few games, maybe you'll find someone you like. Though all those tactics and whatnot are important, whichever character fits you best is also crucial. I'm always good with slow, strong characters, so that's why Dedede and Ganondorf are two of my best. On the other hand...There's Falco.

Print or Cursive?
That made me realize I cross my "I"s but not my "J"s. Weird. I learned cursive in third grade, we had to use it in fifth grade. Sixth grade came, and I was 100% back to print. I write fast enough with print, and my letters usually end up being connected with faint lines, just not the normal cursive way.

Gangs
Just wondering, what would separate a clique from a gang? As for as I can tell, a really close group of friends is basically a gang, perhaps without the violence and all that. I live in a very safe city, I doubt there are any gangs. We do have some kids from Boston though, and they have a gang at school...I think. My friend's friend's brother's friends challenged my friends to a football game once, a cop showed up, probably thinking it was a gang-fight. :

Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States
Yomyth, how old are you? You sound like you're 10... Apparently January 19 is Martin Luther King Jr Day (Observed). Wow. If only Obama was inaugurated a day earlier, having the first black president put into office on MLK Day? That would be incredible. I don't know why people still think Obama is socialist. And even if he was, it's not like that makes him the devil or anything...

Whoops, misread the list I was looking at. Still a ton of CGs though. (But obviously not MK... )

Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States
OH NO YOU SPELLED "AND" WRONG!%!@% (Tip - Don't bother pointing out other people's grammar/spelling mistakes, you'll most likely make one yourself) I heard that if Obama is killed before he's inaugurated, McCain is president? I know that if it's after, it would be Biden. Obama should probably go hide in a cave somewhere for the next three three months...

Vaccinations--Should they be mandated?
I agree with Meol. Getting a vaccination for a serious disease is for the common good. If it's something minor, then no, it shouldn't be mandatory. I don't see why anyone would be against vaccinations, you get a needle stuck into your arm for a second or two, which can save you a lot of pain or even your life. Hrmf.

Education - How would you modify it?
(I'm mainly talking about my school here, not schools in general.) The requirements to graduate. You only need two years of math, science and history. Though most people end up taking three or four years of those anyway, I think at least math is important enough to warrant a three or four year requirement. I would say less emphasis on writing/English, but with the way society is heading (txt spk ftl), I'll take that back... Less emphasis on facts, more on analyzing and skills. Memorizing when the Treaty of Paris was signed isn't really going to help at all. Knowing how to analyze a historical document could. Some subjects would be an exception of course, math is basically pure fact. (I guess learning concepts and applying them counts as analysis though...) Add even more levels. Though this means more courses/classes, and my school is already spread thin enough, a lot of people consider Curriculum I (The highest for freshmen...) to be way too easy. Allow students to learn the best of their abilities, restricting them because other students are incapable to learn at the same speed (Oh wow, that sounded so cruel...) is not cool. In my opinion, elementary school and middle school are to teach you facts - High school should mainly be focused on preparing you for the rest of your life. Sure, you should still learn calculus and all that, but more important are skills that will help you in day-to-day life.

Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States
The American Dream is a good standard, good motivation. When people act like everyone should live like that, or at least strive to, it gets annoying. (I know you said that you - personally - don't try to force this onto everyone else, but I know people who do. :| ) America was also created on the concept of freedom, the freedom to believe whatever you want (To a certain extent).
