Guess the Game
Spy Fox. One of them, at least. Don't remember any of the actual titles, except one had to do with dry cereal. Spy Fox: Dry Cereal sound right?

DigitalTV Switch
I'm pretty sure RCN is switching completely to digital though. My family had to get a digital box a few weeks ago, and now one of our TVs is useless. Other providers, probably not.

What's the weirdest thing thats happened at your school?
Every week or two, we have one of the following: 1. Bomb threat. 2. Pulled fire alarm. 3. Exploding radiators. 4. A small fire. 5. Kid caught with drugs. 6. Kid caught with weapons. We (or they, since I wasn't at this school yet) got a day off last year because of a bomb threat. At my middle school, two girls got into a fight over a boy, and one slammed the other's head through the glass part of a door. At my elementary school, a man dressed up as Santa walked across the playground and waved to the kids. He got arrested.

Enlistment (and stuff)
I thought it over, and I decided that having a mandatory training program would be fine. Great, actually. As long as it's not something where you're whipped to do drills, it'd be a good learning experience for people. And toughen them up too. As for actually participating in the military, to the point of fighting and all that, it's debatable. But in the case of a war, where you desperately need defenders, stick in the draft. At least you'll have a chance that way. And the drafted people would have participated in that training program, so they wouldn't be inexperienced or anything.

Enlistment (and stuff)
Second reason I want American citizenship - avoid the Taiwanese draft. Motivation is an extremely important part of stuff like this. If someone isn't motivated to join the military, and is rather forced to, they'll slack off and be whiny - Think of the kids at school who don't want to be there, rather at home doing something else. On the other hand, if someone is willing to join, they'll perform much better - Think of the kids at school who love learning. (If it offers a good program that most people will enjoy, then I guess it'd be fine. If it's rough training and whatnot, no.) For a country with a low population, you'll most likely have a problem. But if it hasn't been tried before, it should be voluntary, just to see what you get. If it's enough, leave it that way. If not, then I suppose the only answer would be conscription. Though you still need those regular village people. (Are females part of this as well?) It's a ridiculous analogy, but it works - Try playing a strategy game (AoE, Civilization, etc.) with only building units. No villagers/workers. See where you get.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Yeah, but if you live in the middle of Kansas, what good will swimming be to you? Not like there's any water around...(Oh right. That big Mississippi river. But who cares) This year, we're doing swimming during PE, which is pretty stupid as basically everyone hates it, but apparently the school rule is that you don't actually have to get into the water. Why? They don't teach you how to swim. And you can't just expect people to know how to swim. (Theoretically, you could stand in the shallow end the entire time...Or you could doggie paddle.) I learned how to ride a bike when I was 10, I haven't really rode one since so I'm not sure if I still can. Probably not.

Your opinion on violence and killing in video games?
In the last thread about ESRB: In this thread: Do I win? I agree with Nadril though. Take the violence out of a FPS or RTS, two very popular genres. What do you get? People standing around doing nothing. Of course you could have awesome games like Caesar, but leading an army into battle is quite enjoyable too. So take away every video game that has any hint of violence or sex in it. All you have left is Wii Music. I'm not trying to say that you can't have a good game without violence or sex. It's just that basically all the bestsellers out there (Aside from all these casual Wii games) are based around violence. I don't know why they were made that way, I don't know why people like violent games - But I know that it's true, people like violent games and developers will make games that people like. Personally, I sometimes use video games as a way to release my anger. Instead of punching a wall, I'll play a FPS and go on a killing spree. For me, it's relaxing. It takes my mind off whatever I'm angry about, while also letting that anger out. Having violence is fine. Having blood and gore all over the place? Sometimes a bit overkill.

Your dream video game?
A real life MMORPG. LOL WUT. But honestly, a MMORPG set in a historically accurate setting (Ancient Rome, for instance?) would be amazing. I don't know how it would be possible, but if there were no NPCs, that would be incredible as well. Have it be completely dependent on players. (Because there are no NPCs in real life, or so I am told...) A FPS with more than two teams would be nice too. Things like CTF might not go down well, but for simple team matches, it could be fun. But it's most likely already been done, and I'm just missing out on something.

Xmas time
I still have some money left from my birthday (In August), I think I'll just use that up when the sales come. I probably won't buy any presents, never really have. I don't have a source of income (Other than Chinese New Year - Which is going to be used for college - and my birthday), so it's not like I could get anything decent. (And I'm fairly sure I won't receive anything either, fair enough) Bleh, I'll most likely throw together some Photoshop cards. Oh, and TSO season.

Scores killed in Mumbai rampage
There was a video on CNN of shots being fired, it was seriously raining bullets. People were diving all over, and there was a zoom up of a guy's bloody hand. Scary stuff.

Grades, GPA's; How do you do in School?
I think it's because 99% of teachers up to 10th grade or so give out mainly A's and B's. So we think the average is a B+ or so, rather than a C. Which is okay, I guess. I mean, teachers don't want to give out many F's. Neither good for the student or for the teacher. But honestly, straight A's is nothing special any more. :?

What's you're political Idoligy
Just saying, one reason some teenagers might appear to know nothing about politics is because they don't care. They can't vote, so why should they have to decide who they support? It's not exactly a great reason, but I have a feeling if the voting age was dropped to 16, a lot more 16 year olds would start paying attention. And of course there will still be people voting for who their parents are voting for (And that being the only reason). Example - Yomyth. ;)

Grades, GPA's; How do you do in School?
Freshman year at my high school is [bleep]ing easy. And Harvard claims we're one of the top high schools in the country? Yeah right. (My English teacher is tough though. He actually follows the rule where C's are average, so a B is actually pretty good) Our GPA is out of 9, for no good reason. It just is. And they don't even tell us on our report cards until the end of the year. First term, I came out with A's in nearly every subject, an A- in Tech (Everyone got one), A- in French (Screw my French teacher), and a B- in English (Always my worst, and on top of that, there's the teacher I mentioned above) I'm going to be really arrogant and claim that my math is either the best or second best in my grade (At my school, obviously). I'm taking sophomore honors, and have an A in it, so yeah. Also, apparently I'm one of the very few people that has always gotten perfect on the math section of the MCAS, Massachusetts's state-wide standardized test. (Other than math, and some sections of science and history - I'm pretty lousy. My English is the most glaring, but my excuse is that it isn't my first language. : )

Smash Club.
Metaknight can kick the crap out of Dedede any day. :? Dedede's f-smash is the strongest smash in the game, when fully charged and sweet-spotted. (Killing at 24%, I think?) I think his down-B (Jet Hammer) might be the strongest special move when fully charged and sweet-spotted on the ground, but Warlock Punch (Ganondorf's B) might be stronger. As for the Ike/Dedede match up, Dedede wins so badly. Waddle Dees can screw up all of Ike's special moves (And final smash as well). Dedede's recovery is better, no doubt about it...Dedede actually has some quick moves, Ike does not. Dedede also has longer range, and a projectile. And better aerials. Ike isn't better than Dedede at anything. Including giving sympathy.
