I think the mechscape and fun orb logos look rather hurried as they're mostly 2D and also both hold the same theme and involve solar eclipses. The 3D runescape logo fits in with the theme of runescape too. It's a fairly based medieval game and the logo shows that with a sword and the stepping/rune stones on which the runescape is carved.

As it's a new release, it'll be a bit iffy to start with but give it a week or two and it'll have stabalised

Though I do find it pointless that people are speculating about summoning so much, can't you just wait a few months please? All I'm seeing on these forums at the moment is speculation and rants and all that jazz about summoning. We all have conceived ideas on summoning, shall we just keep them to ourselves until the update actually occurs?

I agree with Paw Claw, this thread has very little use, due to the fact that we all know that summoning is coming (be it a good or bad idea, I'll leave that opinion to you). So digging up hints about it in old bts seems pointless as we know it's coming, why did you decide to make this thread?

Yeah, it's very easy to disguise yourself in a literary manner. Whether you do it intentionally or not most people are different on online avatars and such things. I would never meet up with someone.

I collect all rune bits and bobs excluding meds, longswords, shortswords, daggers, claws and sq shields. Around 2-3mil of rune now, all from my own drops and pks.

People have been saying just add to the admin's ignore list. There are a couple of problems with this. One of which is ignore lists take only 100 names, as I myself use my ignore list mainly for a notebook for fairy ring codes this could prove to be verrrry annoying for that admins having a very full ignore list. Secondly, in the case of the tip.it chat channel, lightning isn't active anymore and so cannot add people to the ignore list anyway. A solution to this would be for high ranking mods to also have the power to add names to an ignore list which would belong to the channel itself. I think that Jagex need to do some remodelling to the clan chat system.

Yup, it's because it's a browser based game programmed in Java that it has bad graphics. But it's a characteristic of runescape, it's got great gameplay but awful graphics and it's been like that for the past 5-6 years. If they changed it I'd give up I think. I love the simplistic side of runescape graphics and I'll think other people will agree it's what makes it such a good game where people stick at it because it's not just the glitzy wonderful graphics that drag people into the game and then give up after a while 'cause they realise the gameplay is shocking.

I run into alot of the same people all the time... but we're all slayers so we're always doing the general circuit so it's not a huge coincidence

In the training tips section it says maple logs can be bought by f2p players. This is untrue as maple logs are a members item.

Duradel needs to look more hench.. as he has a slayer cape lol, but I voted for duradel and elves as elves reeeeaallly need an update to their looks. Duradel obviously wont get many votes as only lvl 100+s who're avid slayers see him, we're a dying breed I'm afraid.

yeah, not all mods are trustworthy people. I don't think it's that good an idea because you can generally find a good drop party in the party room on a crowded world
