  1. I cant imagine something more pointless to ponder about.
  2. Lol, well you can get that from any website on the internet, since internet is very anglophone. I'm french and learned a lot of words from reading internet, but that has nothing to do with Runescape. Read anything in english for a long time, and you will improve.
  3. Figurative language is not intended to be interpreted in a literal fashion.
  4. It's unpopular because it's unprofitable, and a general waste of supplies, time and energy.
  5. Would you infact watch the food network for 3 hours than play runescape? Actually, yes XD
  6. Runescape helping in real life is like a myth. You'd all like to believe that its true, but remains that you'd probably learn more in 3 hours of watching the food network than you would in a lifetime of RS. :P And steel is not made out of coal and iron @__@ It's made out of 98% iron and 2% carbon or less. The RS recipe for steel is messed up.
  7. Clues are fun to some, but it's not an efficient way to spend your time.
  8. Same as why you would train wc/mining/hunter/fishing/herblore/smithing/fm/cooking/etc. Yes. Same as? Most skills you mentioned there is little to no perk whatsoever to raising them, you're just avoiding the question.
  9. I reckon time is an illusion of our brains, who work in a linear fashion.
  10. Each type of armour has a negative bonus for type of attacks other than it's own... Karil and black dragonhide top removes 15 magic attack. Ahrim removes 10 ranged attack. Torag plate and rune plate removes 10 ranged and 30 magic. Notice something? Melee never gets a negative bonus on armour of other types! You see... Negative melee bonuses on black dragonhide and ahrim's, then that would be fair. And that way meleers can still switch armour to bypass ranged/magic, however at the cost of attack, just like it is for rangers and magicians.
  11. Lol, yah it was to the d00d who posted the topic. (Omgz magikz r impossiblez without malee!)
  12. .......? If you have the money, you can use just magic. The defensive style allows you to get *expensive* def points. You get hitpoints, and magic exp. So if you only want to use magic, it's possible, but you lose a lot of money unfortunately. But if you don't like melee and prefer not to use here's a word for you: ranged ! Ranged is cheap, the accumulator saves you tons of arrows, and you can make a profit on several monsters.
  13. Magic is great, you can do all sorts of things with it. but it costs too much *.*
  14. I'm guessing you must be awfully bored. The jagex said that they will do it, so yes they will be changed/removed soon ;)
  15. They always do that with polls that make them look bad, or compromise them in some sort of way. Anyone remember that poll about age/gender? Showed most of Runescape was little kids, and that 90% of players were male. They hid it shortly afterwards.
  16. Instead of arguing over slayer exp... Explain what's the point of having slayer exp to begin with?
  17. Jagex proved that they can make it look night-time. Make it a bit more darker, and a bit more blue-ish than what they did with the halloween towns, and you got yourself night. If jagex wants to do, it'll happen, they have the technical ability to do it.
  18. Heard of Dofus? Wakfu is the sequel, and the open beta has started today. Wakfu is set in time 1000 years after Dofus, and the world and the classes have evolved. You choose between the 12 character classes, and the combat is strategy turn-based. http://www.wakfu.com/en
  19. That would make it a combat square #-o HAha
  20. I rented it, and it's not really that great. You can do lots of stuff, but I strangely just didn't have fun, even with all the content. My guy became fat, and I had to eat like 30 celery.. Then I just did like haft the storyline and was like.. ok.. I guess it's just too repetive to my liking. I preferred devil may cry 4 so much more over this game.
  21. I always laugh when I think of Canadian weather because it reminds me of how stupid Scottish people can be. Who in their right minds would leave one cold country like mine to go and emigrate to an even colder country like Canada, they must have been mad lol. Canada isn't cold, just wet...which makes it torture. But we're not cold. honestly if you don't live within the Great Lakes (Or any lake that can have an influence in the moisture), you have nothing to complain about, about cold, lol. Maybe my perception was wrong then, I always thought of Canada as snowy and cold (stereotypically). I always had an image of Scottish people getting off the boat in Canada in a snowdrift lol. I'm presuming that it is cold in the more Northern areas though right? Umm, where the hell in Canada do you live skatedog? Canada is cold, everywhere. I personally live in Montreal, it's right next to the american border, about as south as it gets. In winter we get tons of snow, tons of wind, tons of ice, and it's basically hell from december to the end of march. It's next to water, so it's very moist, but its also less cold because moisture acts as an equalizer in temperature: summers are less hot, and winters are less cold. In places like Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, the weather is continental, meaning the summers are hotter, and dry, and the winters are dry, and even more cold than in Montreal. And montreal is already hell temperature-wise, so I don't see. Vancouver might be a little less cold, but apart from that, I don't see why you think Canada is not cold >.> Fake canadian D:<
  22. You become a noob by being on a door, and getting rolled around everytime someone wants to get in the room you are the door of :twss:
  23. Steel dragons Scarabites the water thingies that drop lots of crimson charms and another one I dont remember atm, probably terrorbirds
  24. I'll have to agree: organized religion gets in the way. Christianity aims to make feel people feel guilty all the time, and scared of stuff that might never happen. Religion gets to put advertisements, so should atheists.
