The name "troll general" seriously does suit you :| True but I get pretty angry when people are boo hooing about stress and depression when its just a case of simple teenage angst. Everyone has lots of schoolwork, everyone has parents that worry about them. Wait til you grow up and have some real responsibilities and have a job and a mortgage and then look back at your school years and if you can truely and honetly say you were streessed or depressed then i shall buy you a cookie. To all the people suggesting drugs ie. cannabis or alchocol etc. just shut up. Stop trying to show off on an internet forum you know all about them. It's seriously bad advice. Alcohol is a depressant and should never be drunk to stress relief as you will actually end up feeling worse in the long run not to mention the spiraling costs at the moment as well as the possibility of dependancy by associating drinking with relaxing after work. I guess im a bit of an opposite on this thread. I'm a RSC oldbie too and I quit RS almost 4 years ago and actually came BACK around xmas last year. I had to start from a completely empty bank and all I had was my skills. In the last year I have gained almost 5 level 99 skills and hopefully will reach 2000 total in the not too distant future. I also got my santas hat back as well has having a nice full bank with 19m cash. And I havn't been to barrows or GWD once. In real life I have a well paid job in a secure environment and a nice car. I have a mortage and in a very happy relationship with my beutiful girlfriend. So many ppl on here are boo hooing all the time or taking the piss outta the people that still play. Get over it, I play RS to relax and sometimes... just sometimes I find it slightly fun. Isn't that the point of a game?

Yeah I was just gonna post that heheh. I used to be the mod for RSUK which was very active for a while but eventually died due to inactivity. The difference with DA is that there is a huge amoung of dutchies on tipit and several mods are dutch too. I dont think there are enough people from other countries to sustain a private board in other languages.

Its not conveniently glossing over violence in other religions at all. This is a thread on islam not "violence in religions". I disagree with all religions equally as much as I do islam I have no bias about not liking a particular religion more than another. However the koran is the literal word of god unlike the bible which was wirtten by many people. The text in the koran is supposed to be exactly as written by allah though muhammad himself and such it is supposed to be infaliable. Everything that is written is "fact" and not up for interpretation and thats what makes it so disturbing. To challenge the text in the koran is a direct challenge to allah. 5:33 The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom;

I dont generalise muslims I was quite clear that I was describing the religion itself and not the followers. I keep an annotated koran at home, it is a very interesting but very violent text.

I never claimed that islam was more or less barbaric than any other religion, MicroLegionnaire, nor did I associate it with terrorism. The barbaricy in the koran is quite clear and graphic. 2:192 Lo!
