  1. I didn't even remember you can get a discount
  2. I checked Size: 82 items, totalling 131.4 MB
  3. Thank you both. Earths it is, then.
  4. So my F2P skiller currently has 45 runecraft and I'm going for 50. Should I just craft runes (and which ones, airs or earths?) or make body tiaras? I have enough cash for the tiaras (currently about 1.5M), but they're extremely boring to make IMO.
  5. I was just going to post the same :P

  7. SCHOOL - I leave everything at the last moment (I can write a good two page essay in under an hour though so it isn't a real problem at school :D ) - I have problems starting projects, but after I start one I cannot stop until finished (for example in one exam we had a write a short story, about one third to one half of a page, well it took me forever to begin it but in the end it barely fit on one page with my very little handwriting) - I have bad motivation issues with everything someone asks me to do (For example a few years ago we had to read a book and review it, I chose The Hobbit. It was really boring and I skipped half of the pages. Earlier this year I borrowed the book from a library and enjoyed it very much… ) SOCIAL LIFE - I have very few friends (two real friends, a few that I often talk with but don't consider actual friends, and that's pretty much it) - I have too many secrets (I'm a master at this, I have two hobbies that not even my family knows about =| ) OTHER - My sleep pattern is messed up (5am - 1pm) - I drink too much coffee - I often forget what I'm doing
  8. Try to change the graphics settings in RS. If it doesn't work try removing and reinstalling Java.

We have no school uniforms in Finland so you can wear pretty much anything. One guy actually made a bet with a (really funny and awesome) teacher that he (that guy, not the teacher) will wear a skirt for a day, and yes, he really did that

I'm not 100% sure, but you could check the power saving options (from the control panel).
  11. You do realise that VLC can do this as well, right? ;) But can VLC write video directly to the framebuffer so that you can watch movies without an X server? Mplayer is crazy powerful. Actually, it can. mplayer is much lighter though :) I tested with a ~20 minute video, mplayer used 24 MB ram and VLC used 41 MB (this was in X). CPU load is so low with both that it cannot really be compared. I just remembered FileZilla, it's a good FTP program.

It's probably the hottest day ever here. According to the news yesterday was the warmest day in 76 years and today it's 3°C warmer 25°C is already quite hot in Finland and now it's almost 34°C here <_<

Who the [bleep] decided to code this in Shockwave?! It doesn't support Linux, so I can't play. Too bad, sounded like a fun game :(

27C...lmao  It was 40+ for 3 days last week. Good thing I had access to a pool :P Well it's a bit different in Finland, in fact today was the first time I've experienced a temperature over 30°C (outside I mean) in my life… 25°C is already very hot here. According to the news today is the warmest day in decades  Tomorrow's forecast in my area: 33°C <_<
  15. The new theme looks horrible <_<
  16. My music player is controlled with keyboard only :(
  17. Firefox is just fine as it is, I don't like any other browser's interface <_<
  18. You do realise that VLC can do this as well, right? ;) I didn't know that, haven't used VLC much.
  19. I remember seeing a thread like this before, but it was probably on some other forum… Anyway, I'm a Linux user but I know several good apps which are available on both Windows and Linux. All of these programs are open source. Emacs vim Two very advanced text editors. Both have a very high learning curve, but they are the best text editors available. VLC A great media player. Plays music and videos and has support for almost every kind of file. MPlayer Another media player with an even better format support than VLC. The only video player I know of that works even without graphics (yes, it can output video as ASCII  ). Pidgin A chat program which supports MSN, IRC, AIM etc. aMSN A clone of MSN Messenger, looks very similar but has more features and works on platforms other than Windows.
  20. I don't know if it's different on Windows, but on Linux both FF3 and FF4 looks pretty much the same. The only difference I can see is that FF4 has no separate stop/reload buttons, and I never use stop button anyway, so doesn't really matter to me. (and of course the feedback button) [spoiler=screenshots, first is FF3, second is FF4]
  21. Your Type is INTP Introverted 100 Intuitive 38 Thinking 62 Perceiving 11 Quite accurate I guess.
  22. I transferred files from my old laptop to my new desktop with FTP. FileZilla has both client and server available (though server is Windows-only - which I assume you have though). I don't know how to use the server (because I use Linux), but it shouldn't be too hard to set up. Here's a tutorial I found.
  23. How about Finland, about half of each empty CD/DVD/whatever disc's price goes to Teosto (the Finnish equivalent of RIAA etc). I have five Linux CD's I've burned myself, that means I've paid about 2€ to Teosto for something completely free. BTW I will be doing P2P file sharing as much as possible, with legal files (Linux ISOs) so I cannot be sued for anything. This way I can both annoy the copyright guys and help the Linux community. :)

One Finnish site (Kuvalauta.fi, a Finnish version of 4chan) decided to play the song "Juna Kulkee" by Kari Tapio as much as possible on Spotify. According to Spotify Top Lists it's the 16th most popular song in the world right now  Even "better", Kari Tapio is the 3rd most hyped artist on Last.fm. Quite awesome for such a small country and site :)
  25. My geek aura makes every computer around me last forever :P
