I actually disagree. Teachers are employed on a full time basis. They can only do so many hours a day that they will get paid for. A full time job entitles you to five shifts a week, totaling between 40 - 45 hours a week. All teacher are based on a salary, meaning they aren't paid by the hour. They do work before the students get there and stay after as well. That's alot of hours of unpaid work. You won't be saving energy, you'll be using the exact same amount because you are still attending the same amount of time. You can set up many of those appointments on weekends. If something is really bad that they need an appointment asap then they should take the day off, taking a day off their sick leave which they are entitled too. I think a two day weekend is long enough, be thankful for it seriously. When you graduate and start working, weekends no longer exist. It would save energy with buses, and driving. It still takes away two trips from the week.

Supposedly if you were to play the game on expert, and get 100%, then you hit the same drums in that order and all, on a real drumset, it would be the same. (With the exception of the cymbals, since that's kind of different, if I remember right). I have a friend who gets usually 90%+ on expert, and he plays drums in a band. In fact the only good rb drummers I know, actually know how to play real drums.

The most amazing death shot I have ever seen was a sniper or something killing me, with a spy halfway through stabbing him, then with another spy behind the spy about to stab him, and on top of that a sniper laser dot thing right next to the head of the spy killing the spy.

On a skiller account I made a long time ago, like before even skill capes, I got 99. I also got 99 fletching, cooking, and thieving. And most of the way to 99 fishing, but then I quit for a long time and never came back to that account. A fm cape is not nearly as big an achievement as a slower cape, or a non-buyable. I might not call it a noob cape, but I honestly don't think getting it was worth it. It cost a few m that I should have put into crafting or something, or even feathers for fly fishing.

The funniest thing that ever happened to me with chat was, no mercy finale, I was a tank, I hit one of the survivors and incapped him. He landed on a tower with no way up to it, and was just lying there, waiting to die. He was shouting at them to heal him, and one guy just said "There doesn't seem to be any feasible way to get to you..." I just burst out laughing, even though it wasn't that funny.

On the topic of bioshock: Medical area. There's a dentists room, you walk in, mist blocks your view and then theirs a mutilated body on the dentist's table. Your like... Oh [cabbage], some bad stuffs gonna happen. You walk to the corner, to get the plasmid. You get right in front of it, everything is misty again. You wait a second, then pick up the plasmid. Then you turn around, and right behind you is a splicer, just staring at you. That scared the [cabbage] out of me. Also in one level when they pretend to be dead and your not paying too much attention Suddenly someone jumps up in front of you and tries to kill you. blah.

There are probably some locked doors that looters couldn't get into, and we have some light explosives to get through those if we need. So here is the exact plan. I'm going to open the door. OOC: I read it a while ago. I based some of my ideas off it, but changed it for the history I did. ICC: "I don't know... so far I have only been able to identify four types major types of mutations caused by the infection... Those are the one's we know about, the tank, smoker, boomer, and hunter... It is possible that there is another mutation that I haven't discovered yet. While I have not had a chance to actually study any of the infected, I read a theory, put out by some british scientist before everything went to hell, that the original brain cells are replaced with altered, infected ones, and rapid duplication of cells causes mutation. The most common, or at least the most common, noticeable mutations, tend to enhance some of the body's functions. For example with the tank, it increases muscle growth rapidly. I just hope whatever you saw was unique. In any event, I think we are planning on going to a military base quite soon. While I do have some ammunition and guns, I don't have enough to last us more than a little bit if we run into infected as often as we have in the past few days. I have already taken the liberty to load up two cars with supplies to get to the military base, and defend ourselves. It's best if we take both of my car's, since if one breaks down we could be trapped miles away from here, and I'd rather that did not happen.

I think you quoted me a bit literally. Believe me I understand that every human is completely different from the next. All girls will be different. I play on a custom map called cp3_Orange or something. It's really fun for snipers, and the games don't end til someone wins, which makes for painfully long games. It's kind of interesting compared to "normal" Servers.

Where I live it's legal. New flash: 15 years of living here, and no one does it. Ever. Never seen anyone do it, and I go out a lot. No one will do it, or at least not a large amount of people would.

She laid in bed for a while, and she reached her hand off to the side of the bed to pet her dog. It licked her hand, like it always did. She soon fell asleep. Hours later, she awoke to a dripping sound, coming from her bathroom. She didn't want to get up, and she felt her dog licking her hand. She soon fell back to sleep. She woke up again, hearing the same dripping, only a bit louder. She reached her hand off the bed to pet her dog, and it licked her hand. She got up, and walked into the bathroom. I just think that the point of the rants forum is a place where everything has to be perfect, and someone complaining that they don't like a skill, for whatever reason would merit a ban.

Setting standards can be elitist, depending on what standards you set. As a local guy said, garbage is in the eye of the beholder. I disagree with some arguments on the rants forum, and others, and would consider some to be extremely stupid. For example in the "is homosexuality right or wrong thread" in OT, I personally think all the arguments that are just "The bible says" are stupid, but to others they are perfectly logical.

Never happened to me. It was just someone trying to piss you off, and they did it in a way that worked, so they succeeded.

A stupid, poorly written thread filled with inaccurate, misleading assumptions does NOT help the community - it merely results in flaming and a less informed public. An IP ban for 'stupid users' would quickly remove them and keep them from filling this forum with garbage. Like an IP ban really does anything to someone who wants to get back on. A thread made by someone who did not know some detail of something, and was just wrong does NOT deserve a ban. Giving out bans to "stupid" people would ruin the forum. These forums are supposed to be a more friendly enviorment, not where if you slip up or get something wrong you will be permamentally banned. Let's look at construction, actually. After a gilded altar, what else is there? You could spend many millions more, and over 10 million more xp without gaining anything of much use. (I might be wrong here, I haven't played other than to talk to friends in a long time, and I haven't used construction since a while after it came out)

Fog is the easiest minigame pretty much. All you do is find a good hiding spot, where no one ever looks. I'll keep where i hide to myself, and then just wait. if they find you, run away, try to get out of their sight, then teleport to the center. You should get enough charge to beat them. Next round, just dds spec them then use ancients. That's what I do. I, at level 95 ish have easily beaten people in the 130s.

To people suggesting tip.it adopt a culling system, or anything like that, because you think a rant is pointless... Here's a suggestion, if you don't like a thread, think it's stupid, or whatever, do the unthinkable and don't post in it. If no one posts in a thread, then it will go away soon enough. The rants forum is for letting off steam, and someone comes here, and posts that they don't like a skill because it's too much of a money drain, and because you think the rant is pointless, you suggest a perma ban for anyone who makes a stupid thread. Forum.tip.it is a a forum for a runescape help site. In multiple guides (I don't know if it's still like this, I haven't used the main site in a long time) there are suggestions to join the forums to read a guide, or for more help. Do you really expect everyone to be perfect when this is the forum for a help site? The only thing having a ban system like that would do would be to make people angry, and stop using tip.it altogether. There would still be idiots, first time posters and such, and after they got banned there is always a chance they would get angry, and make another account, and do worse stuff until they got banned again. I'm not saying that I agree with this rant, but honestly people... This is the rants forum, it's not designed for only insightful, thought provoking threads.

With 2gb of ram and a slightly worse processor, it runs at high perfectly for me. And on vista.
