March 12, 200719 yr mayby if they made it more exiting ppl would come? like higher stakes http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=615955click link to go to ganon95 productionsrunescape requires a lot of skills, napoleon dynamyte would love this game i am the proud owner of the quest point cape; all quests done 12/04/06
March 12, 200719 yr It's like a lot of the other mini-games. People have no interest in them anymore. They're not that fun, nor do they reap benefits.
March 12, 200719 yr Like the one mini game where you escort the people in canfis... Its so unused I dont even know its name, or if its still around.
March 12, 200719 yr Except probably after it was released for a few days, rat pits has been all l but unused. I've never been able to play rat pits other than in the quest and one time against my brother.
March 12, 200719 yr I died a little inside when I did that quest. You have no idea how womanly I felt doing a quest about professional RAT CATCHERS. What self-respecting man would EVER stoop to such a low level? Oh I know - an unhonorable eunuch. If you don't know what a eunuch is, look it up, I might get in trouble if I explain it here. Mugutu

March 12, 200719 yr it was said when it first came out that 20 mins of constant fighting you could raise a kitten to a cat and then walk to the ardy guys and get 100 deaths.
March 12, 200719 yr Rat pits, like most of the other group mini-games, suffers from not having a specific world, so ppl can't find anyone to play with/against. Usually the only choice is, stupidly, world 2, and possibly 6 or 9 - busy worlds & hard to get into. Temple Building - 2 if you're lucky. Games room - always empty & I teleport through there a lot. BA - 2,6 & 9 or empty. Castle Wars - the only one popular enough to run on most worlds. PC - "everyone" knows the starting world, higher ppl can jump off from there - works because there is an agreed world. Blast furnace - is there a world for this apart from 2 #-o ? I bet most are empty. Law/air running - unofficial mini-games - they work because there are arranged worlds. Rum deal - worked for a while because someone managed to set up a specific world. Fishing trawler - empty Jagex are updating Fishing Trawler later this month - it'll be busy for a few days. Then the only way to find a team will be - guess what - world 2. Jagex PLEASE give some thought to having suggested worlds for these activities *sigh*
March 12, 200719 yr Rum deal - worked for a while because someone managed to set up a specific world. Do you mean Trouble Brewing? the world for this is 104. [spoiler=My 99s (7)]9,638th to 99 Fletching ~ 29th January 2007 737th to 99 Hunter ~ 2nd July 2007910th to 99 Agility ~ 28th January 200859,467th to 99 Defence ~ 23rd December 200992,762nd to 99 Hitpoints ~ 26th June 2010102,704th to 99 Attack ~ 29th June 2010144,091st to 99 Strength ~ 29th June 2010

March 12, 200719 yr I'm a level 125 warrior and I still haven't completed this quest. I wasted about 2 hours trying to sneak past the guards inside the top floor of the mansion before getting fed up and abandoning the quest.

March 12, 200719 yr i admit that that the mansion part was annoying, but eventually you get it, also if minigames are not that entertaining to the majiority/rewarding then goodluck finding someone to play with

Jagex PLEASE give some thought to having suggested worlds for these activities *sigh*it's very agreeable that some of these mini games need home worlds besides world 2(as we all know world 2 is a merchant's world). If you want more people at a mini game then start the world yourself.

March 13, 200719 yr There is none. If Jagex raised the stakes and expanded the skills you could develop for your cat, then heck yeah, people would be down there. Clearly most players (myself included) can't stand cats or any of the quests for them, so Jagex hasn't seen it necessary to improve that miniquest / quest reward. If they made cats have the skill to win stakes of say... 200k or even 1 mill or more, you'd see that place crawling with players. Figure 2-3 more quests and maybe an entire new skill: "animal training" where you can develop your crappy cat into a killing machine... If they would just add dogs already... I'll be happy :) RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?

I'll be happy :) An "animal training" skill. Maybe but it would be a hassle to issue commands to your cat. A larger variety of pets would be a great idea. If Robert the Strong was able to have a black panther as a pet in the "A Tail of Two Cats" cut-scene, why can't we? If Robert the Strong was able to have a black panther as a pet in the "A Tail of Two Cats" cut-scene, why can't we? Lol - *Your Animal Training skill is now 99* You can now stomp noobs. (Cape emote: 2 noobs shouting "Str Lvl" "Fish lvl pl0x" and you release your pet dragon which burns em to a crisp.) March 14, 200719 yr I think it would be helpful if u didn't have to tell ur cat every time to hunt that it would be more useful. Then cannon owners would have to waste so many cballs on rat killin lol. I have 8 quests left (rat catcher, tale of two cats and Ichs helper). Can u tell I love cats (Evil Dave made it even worse lol) Barrows Drops: Guthan's platelegs and War Spear, Dharok's plate body and Great Axe, Verac's Flail, Verac's Helm x 2, Ahrim's top, Dharok's plate legs Dragon Drops: Medium Helm x 4, Shield Left Half, plate legs x 2, skirt x 2.
March 14, 200719 yr It seriously needs updating. We need cat levels. Equipment. Weapons. Magic spells. Upgrades. Ranging weapons. Higher staking. More cat forms. Armour. Special attacks. Attack styles. Skillcapes for your cat. Cat required shortcuts. Cat only accesible areas. More cat bosses (Rat fight was fun). Hang on... Skill capes for your cat? Awesome! I gotta expand this... ~ W ~
March 15, 200719 yr this quest made me hate cats and it has no pointlike most of the other quests Don't Click This774th to 99 hunting on July 16th 2007
March 15, 200719 yr I did this quest solely for access to wily cats with no intention to caring about pits so it's not totally pointless Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
