Nice little update. But what if they put shortcuts to all the worlds on the login screen?

Actually, this may make things easier for stryder...I serously think SS will benifit from this update.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now strider just has to make a link to rs homepage on start-up of SS. He might as well as get rid of the world list on the side, b/c Jagex's is much farther advanced.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, Stryder can just keep adding to his Irc client and his calculators and his other tools.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So to all of you who think this is the end of SS, this is actually nothing but a new beginning(cheesy):D

Look, without third-party software being outright supported by Jagex, they just can't always be trusted. This is a major blow to the majority of them, most of them having the purpose of switching worlds.

Yes, but now i think he should get rid of the whole thing, and just make 1 link...instead of making it goto worldlist after you click the steps on the side.

great update, faster switching than SS world switch because you don't have to load the worlds

 

 

 

I still use SS because i've had it for years so i'll stick with strider on this one.

You don't have to wait for the worlds to load while switching

 

 

 

Although they SHOULD mention that somewhere... I waited like 2 minutes for it to start loading before I realized it loads instantly :XD:

I only used it to merchant because changing worlds sucked. Now, Ihave everything I need. This one is even faster because you don't have to re-load the client. So, I for one am happy now. Now they just need to add calculators or something.

The world switchers are great- works fine.

its not that useful. unlike world switchers it doesnt take you to the log in page. it still says "full" for world 2. and refreshing it is a pain...click the icon, go to the opposite corner, click cancel. Jagex likes making things hard for us. i dont know. it is kind of handy, but i still like ss better.

Now when this added convenience, it'll be even harder to get in. Isn't that way people hated SS and other world switchers, because they made full worlds impossible to get in?

It's even harder to justify using firefox to switch worlds - which actually is comparable to Jagex's current system. But now it seems like even firefox could be seen as an illegal world switcher, after all it does bypass the worlds page under certain settings.

Yep, Stryder got rid of all switching capabilities from SS...so now it's just a kick [wagon] client!! not to mention completely legal!
