I could tell you that this would make it into the "Update of the Decade" books for me.

im going to stay with ss as i use the chat very nice update though(exspecially for people who dont know about ss lol)

good update jagex assuming the prayer thing is fixed, the world thing is very good for pking and checking multiple worlds... well for switching worlds at all, could also be good for rune miners, SS is now pointless from what i see, hopefully if its banned again theres less complainers.

Look at the facts, strider showed a feature that the official client is missing, now we have such a feature - everyone wins. I for one disliked the idea of 3rd party clients, but this is a benefit to everyone, no one can deny that.

I'm loving this update, even moreso because for once the community as a whole is happy, and jagex is for the first time in awhile directly addressing what players want.

Yeah, I've always wondered that about Jagex too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(Yes, I know that I'm about to draw another parallel to World of Warcraft, but I think you can live with it.) Like Jagex, Blizzard is also way too lazy to make good addons. Unlike Jagex, Blizzard released the source code for their UI (user interphase) and personally recommends unofficial addons to be used. Jagex should allow things like Swifty. It would take a load off of their workload and let them focus on important things, like finishing skills that have been out for years.

Actually, this may make things easier for stryder...I serously think SS will benifit from this update.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now strider just has to make a link to rs homepage on start-up of SS. He might as well as get rid of the world list on the side, b/c Jagex's is much farther advanced.

So to all of you who think this is the end of SS, this is actually nothing but a new beginning(cheesy):D

It's instant switching too, no more click World Select and JavaScript message: "Are you SURE?!", clicking on the world and then waiting for it to load and finally logging in.

Nice move by Jagex to eliminate the need for 3rd party world switchers. SS has fallen. :twisted:

Yay, almost everyone is happy!! I guarantee you that is all that Jagex wants. A happy customer is a repeat customer. I like the world switcher.

Jagex has done a good job again :thumbsup: The world switcher is quite fast too

It messes my sound up if I am on it. If the intro music is playing and I go to change world the music continued to play while it was on this second screen, and did so even when I muted it. :? Had to close the window.

Yeah jagex great job on taking a shot at strider, all the guy did was help most of all your players with Runescape, he didnt charge people for his services, Have i seen many others go out of there way to make a program like this? nope, so Ya great job. Yeah yeah everyones down with SS , dosent matter Jagex's cheap copy will never match up to what strider has done =;
