March 22, 200719 yr Achor rarely hits i have one What are you talking about? That things hits a lot! and it got changed to be even better again. On topic: Longsword or Scimitar? I still say longsword, you can use the cleave spec multiple times, Scimitar's sever is once then you have to wait for the special energy to recharge... But that's just my opinion.

March 22, 200719 yr There's a reason why more than 99.9% of the people who have completed MM use the scim to train: it's obviously better. Why would you use the long anyway? It pretty much stinks.
March 22, 200719 yr Pick the scimmy. Generally speaking, quicker weapons are better exp than slower & more powerful ones. And if u can, buy either a d baxe or a ddp++ to use the special with. 2480+ total

March 23, 200719 yr out of the two i prefer scimmy, but now i use barrel-anchor Dragon Drops: D spear x 2, D skirt, D half-shield, D axe, D 2hBarrows Rewards: Ahrims hood, Karil's Coif, half key x 6, D med, torags legs, veracs flail

March 23, 200719 yr I guess that it depends on what you're training against. I only use the scimmy if I want to train strength. The only time I ever use the long sword is when training against Bloodvelds when slaying since they're very week to Stab.

March 25, 200719 yr I used my rune scimitar until I finished monkey madness, didn't want to waste 100k on a weapon I would never use.... I use a whip now, and a dds when my specs bar gets full. Technically I use a rune scimitar because I haven't been P2P in ages but...
